dbell1 February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 Hooray! An upbeat song. Of course he's probably singing about his dead dog or something. 10 Link to comment
Misslindsey February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 My two years of high school Spanish are not helping me through this song. 4 Link to comment
loriro February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 Figures... i'm enjoying a song sung in a language I can't understand more than just about any of the songs (allegedly) sung in English tonight. 5 Link to comment
Fostersmom February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 Okay, it only took a performance from some guy I've never heard of in a language I don't speak to get my feet bopping. Great show. 5 Link to comment
Callaphera February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 Obviously that wine haze hasn't effected your critical reasoning skills, you still appear smarter than Ms. Swift. Carry on. I think filling myself on leftover Cheezburger Macaroni has helped to kill my buzz. Or it's this show and all of its depressing performances. Kind of a toss up. I must rectify this to get through the next twenty minutes. Speaking of, when was the last time we saw an award? I forgot this show isn't just a crappy concert. They do hand out the occasional award, right? If nothing else, the Grammy's make me appreciate those Rush tickets we just bought. Because at least that's music. 1 Link to comment
ProudMary February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 This is the worst Grammy Awards show I've ever seen. I honestly don't know why I'm still watching. The show's saving grace was the Hozier/Annie Lennox performance. Other than that--total snoozefest. Link to comment
mojoween February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 This Spanish guy is so apparently happy to be there and I totally love him for it. Prince is Prince. Superb. 3 Link to comment
rustyspigot February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 Prince is dressing like Liza from the 70's. 7 Link to comment
Misslindsey February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 So either Beck or Sam Smith have won all the awards they gave out tonight. Link to comment
LennieBriscoe February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 Holy cow! Beck just beat out some heavy hitters! 4 Link to comment
Callaphera February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 Beck is the "shocking" win of the night? Two turntables and a microphone Beck? I didn't even know Beck was still around until tonight. 5 Link to comment
dbell1 February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 (edited) Did Kanye just rush the stage? And why is Paulie Perette there and hanging out in a tornado shelter? Edited February 9, 2015 by dbell1 1 Link to comment
vb68 February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 (edited) Prince was awesome Sauce. Yes, albums still matter. And I kinda love that Beck won. Edited February 9, 2015 by vb68 5 Link to comment
Neeners February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 Kanye was hilarious right there. I hate to say it, but it's true! 3 Link to comment
Misslindsey February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 Did Kanye just rush the stage? I missed it, but he was probably going to tell the audience that Beyonce was robbed. 3 Link to comment
loriro February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 (edited) So Pharrell's WIFE made a costume change. Huh. Can't say I blamed her...that track-suit/onesee she was wearing couldn't have been very convenient. And wait... did Kanye just make a funny? Am I in a bizarro world? vb68 February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 (edited) I missed it, but he was probably going to tell the audience that Beyonce was robbed. And that's the one time I would have loved to seen Taylor's reaction! Edited February 9, 2015 by vb68 3 Link to comment
FormerMod-a1 February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 60 years later and Happy is still in my head. Maybe because it was the only upbeat song? 3 Link to comment
cincivic February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 How many people lost money in Vegas, with Beck's win? Link to comment
FormerMod-a1 February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 Shia... Sia... I see what they did there. 3 Link to comment
reggiejax February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 (edited) Did NO ONE release up-tempo songs this year? I think with Casey Kasem dying this past year, the Grammys really didn't want to go into any up-tempo numbers. Yeah, I know, that was terrible. In every sense. Did Kanye just rush the stage? He did, And though I always that it was the douchiest of all his actions over the years, I actually let out a laugh just now. It helps that Beck had a sense of humor and was urging him back on the stage. Edited to add WTF, is that Kristin Wiig? And that little girl dancing around to the Sia song always makes me think that Hit Girl from KickAss has lost her mind. Edited February 9, 2015 by reggiejax 5 Link to comment
GeminiDancer February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 I love her music, but Sia needs to stop with this. She's not new to the game, and she's actually shown her face multiple times. 9 Link to comment
loriro February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 (edited) The first person doing this performance art looks like the woman from SNL and Bridesmaids. Can't think of her name... Is that Kristen Wiig? UrbanShocker and roseslg... Thank you! If it's not, could pass for her twin! Edited February 9, 2015 by loriro Link to comment
Chrissytd February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 Is that Kristen Wiig? I thought that too. Link to comment
Misslindsey February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 Is that Kristen Wiig? That is what I was wondering too. Link to comment
rustyspigot February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 Kristin Wiig, uh Kate Mckinnon did it better. Jim Carrey did it better. Link to comment
truthaboutluv February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 Why is Shia LaBoeuf here? He appeared in Sia's video "Elastic Heart..." I really should start betting on these shows. Everyone said AOTY was between Sam Smith and Beyonce but I totally called this being between Beck and Beyonce. I felt that if voters went for the critical darling, Beck would win but if they went for the commercial/most buzzed about, Beyonce would win. Now they need to just give Sia either SOTY or ROTY or preferably both for Chandelier. Link to comment
vb68 February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 I liked this better when Kate McKinnon danced to it on SNL. 2 Link to comment
UrbanShocker February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 Are we supposed to take this seriously if Sia has a comedian dancing to her song? Because SNL actually did a sketch like that already. 1 Link to comment
iwasish February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 Why is Sia dressed? And WTF is this song about? Oh okay we're back to leotards. Link to comment
Callaphera February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 I am so confused by this. I can't even blame the wine. 5 Link to comment
Fostersmom February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 (edited) Shia was in Sia's new video with the girl from Dance Moms. Not for this song though. They were both in flesh colored body suits, rolling around the floor in a giant cage. It was very creepy. Edited February 9, 2015 by Fostersmom 1 Link to comment
dbell1 February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 I'm shocked. Sam Smith won. He's so unappreciated tonight. 2 Link to comment
Superpole2000 February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 I haven't liked anything. I keep flipping channels and coming back to this mess to see if I will like something, but I never do. I swear I like music...just not this. Link to comment
Slade347 February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 I can't believe they actually gave Sam Smith a songwriting award after what just happened with Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne. Only the fucking Grammys. 9 Link to comment

UrbanShocker February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 I can't believe they actually gave Sam Smith a songwriting award after what just happened with Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne. Only the fucking Grammys. Do Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne get a Grammy too? 1 Link to comment
Callaphera February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 I like how they do the actual awards. If you win one, you get 2.7 seconds to speak before the music kicks in. They really care about the "award" part of the award show, don't they? 2 Link to comment
opus February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 They seem determined to wrap this up at 11:30 EST. Link to comment
