So now that the season is basically over, who do we want to see join and/or leave the cast?

We could potentially have two slots open up although I honestly don't see Erika leaving even if she is feeling over it. I don't think she'll willingly give up the attention this gig gives her.

Dorit generates a lot of discussion so even though a lot of people don't like her, I can see her hanging on for another season.

Whoever first brought up having Heather Locklear on the show--at first I thought it wouldn't be a good fit but I'm kind of warming to the idea. She could potentially bring some drama. 

I hope they keep Teddi but if not, I think Jennie Garth is still a good suggestion. Someone from the 90210 cast seems like too fun of an opportunity to pass up.

I am thinking they need to go with someone who is not a actress/performer wife of one/ or child of one.  Wait there would not be a cast.  I would like to see someone without a huge agenda.  Wait won't happen.  The producers seem to have a little stable.  I just don't want any accountability people, sobriety coaches, people in recovery, people who have been recently arrested. 

If I had to guess I would say there is a chance Dorit will move back to the east coast/Miami area and not be available for filming.  I don't see Erika leaving-especially if she is getting divorced.  Don't see Camille coming back full time or Kim.   I guess we will know soon enough filming begins in two months. 

Whatever they choose, whoever they thin from the herd, they have to so something not a single reviewer has said anything but what a boring season.

This entire real housewives  franchise is a complete informercial at this point and on life support, lol.

It is to the point where the stories are complete bullshit and boring.

I don’t need or want anything those women are selling. I might buy a piece of crap from Ramona out of nostalgia but that is about it.

Imo, Teddy came along too late in the game, I doubt that she will be successful in shilling her products.

Nothing against her but this business model is overplayed at this point.

Why would anyone watch these shows when there is so much better writing and better shilling elsewhere?

For 10 bucks a month, I am streaming Netflix which have such better content.

In addition, listening to Andy from time to time really turned me off. Sometimes, the sauce has to be kept secret.

What about former child actor Quinn Cummings? She hasn't performed since the 90s, developed a successful baby sling and now (from what I can tell from my crack research) works as a writer. I hope the show doesn't cast someone who is (or fancies herself as) a still-working actor because I find them too careful and contrived, eg, Eileen and Heather/OC. I'm not counting Lisa R because she doesn't seem to care how crazy she appears. Or Lisa Welchel -- she did Survivor so she's not anti-reality TV, is supposed to be a genuinely nice person and would bring a different dynamic. I have no idea if either Cummings or Welchel live near Bev Hills, tho.

 

Of course, if the producers really wanted to shake things up, they'd approach former actress Julianne Phillips . . . .

I kind of like Denise Richards, despite her most flawed reasoning in choosing to marry and spawn with Chucky Sheen.  I actually think she wouId make a good add.

I would like to see a 100% recast of this franchise.  I'm rather weary of all of 'em.

I hadn’t really considered before that Denise might be a great addition to the cast. IIRC, she had her own reality show for awhile several years ago. I vaguely remember her Dad being a great guy. Then there’s Charlie...omg... he might be entertaining in small doses.

Nos. 3, 4, & 5 would basically be interchangeable.

I just want someone who does not need a glam squad or have a fashion moment every time they are filming. The women in other franchises do not need a glam squad on call. RHONY is the one that comes to mind right now, because it is currently airing. I enjoy seeing the women dressing casually and not wearing a face full of makeup all of the time.

By all accounts she is a good and stable mother. She even took in Charlie Sheen and Brooke's kids when they both went completely off the rails. So, I don't think drunken mess would apply to her. That bastion of truth and credibility, Radar Online, is reporting that Denise Richards' contract is a 4-year deal worth $4 million.

If that is true, boy will that open the floodgates of contract negotiations.  I would also think it could potentially reduce the number of HW shows.  Reality TV became so popular with production companies due to its relatively inexpensive costs/salaries.  I think they may have left that in the dust.

The Tori rumor went up on Main Page yesterday. I don't know -- it seems like her life may have too much baggage, even for Andy (but I imagine he'd looove to get Candy on a few episodes). Also, I wonder if she'd be like Adrienne and Heather from OC -- overly cautious about letting the cameras in. Might be good TV tho, since she wouldn't be calling the production shots.

I think this is probably it for me.  As RHoBH moves further from the women that have money to women that want money, the show loses it's magic.  It becomes less about the house and closet porn and more about manufactured drama. If I want to see wannabes that are willing to fight for money, I can watch other franchises.

I don’t think there is any familial relations, BUT, I did watch Paris Hilton’s show years back (not the farm one, this was after that), and if I remember correctly, Paris was pretty tight with Brooke Mueller to the extent that Kathy Hilton drove her to drug rehab on at least one occasion.  So....small world between them all, eh?

Nah, she’s already  made a fool of herself exposed her “real life” on reality tv. I’m sure she’d amp up the drama here, too. I have no desire to see her sob over her philandering husband, nor do I wish to see family fun fakery with them.

I also saw a rumor about a Brandi return. NO.
