I'm glad Gabi/Phillip didn't sleep together it would be too soon. Although I didn't need Gabi talking about how Jake has sex with Kate all over the house. I think I was more repulsed than Phillip was tbh. I did find her top really cute though.

This Ben/Ciara/Theo story is so awful that Lani has become the voice of reason. That's all you need to know.

Paulina/Xander/Chanel was the best part of this episode.

...really? I found Paulina's delivery unforgivable. She can't deliver her lines cleanly or humorously. It's like her tongue is fighting the script and she compensates by acting worked up. I'll be skipping her scenes from now on.

I like that Paulina isn't letting Chanel work her over and is the only thing besides her daughter about this show that doesn't completely depress me.

I would be interested in seeing Paulina react to Ben she might find Xander a better option in comparison.

Too bad Chanel didn't just tear up the marriage license and tell everyone is was fake. No need for a divorce. Felt sorry for poor Xander hoping that the cheque for $50,000 would give him access to a better storyline. He and Chanel are in different leagues. I did like Paulina refusing to give her daughter money. Yeah, she paid for everything at a huge price in that Chanel is a spoiled brat.

And now Theo runs in to her. Yeah, Theo, you can be Ciara's mealticket for a while. Have no idea what both Ciara and Chanel see in you. Maybe your tech job pays well. South Africa is still a fairly dangerous country and maybe Ciara may not like living behind walls and fences.

Krisusan was obnoxious with her weird premonitions about Jake and Gabi. Insufferable. Jake should have rang for Harold to kindly escort her out the door. Who leaves a stranger in the living room and goes off somewhere in the house? The stranger had a premonition? And now she has to 'disappear' Kate. Where is the trunk?

Lucas, you know that Chloe's father has major medical connections. A brain tumor may not work for very long.

Eli, you are not obligated to answer your door. Again, surely these apartments have buzzers that people need to ring before getting access to the door.

Chanel hasn't had to scam until around the time she arrived in Salem, and possibly started with Claire, Tripp and the expensive champagne.  Paulina only recently shut off Chanel's credit cards.  

When Philip gave Gabi that hug after she couldn't "get it up", I kinda/sorta liked the idea of them as a couple.  Up until that moment, they've mostly gotten on my nerves.  

There was definitely some chemistry between Brandon Barash's Stefan and Gabi but Jake and Gabi feel like something the Show continues to tell us is amazing couple but it's not working on-screen at all.  Brandon B feels more comfortable as Jake but I only like his scenes when he's being a friend to Abigail, and when he's having a spat with Gwen.  Tyler Christopher was more convincing as a DiMera/Alamain offspring.    

KruSan and Jake were painful.  If that was meant to work as comedy relief, well...

Ah yes, one of the other reasons why I stopped watching a while ago - Xander and Sarah.  The way the actress played that character, as a weird, immature school girl with the baby-talk and the cutesy crap... ugh.  It was completely unwatchable.  How was I really supposed to believe that she was also a highly intelligent doctor??

I wasn't sure if that was supposed to be a new room or just the room we always see in the Dimera mansion redecorated, but when Kristen opened the door to the tunnels, I realized it was indeed that room redecorated. I'm surprised they got rid of the Stefano portrait in that room.

Have they verbally addressed the change? Its so....stark. When they changed the Kiriakis mansion at least they just repainted, and said it was Bonnie's doing. This is a full reno situation.

It's supposed to be the same room, but they mixed up their walls when putting the pieces back together. 😂  I don't think it's very easy to move a fireplace and 2 doors to an outdoor garden like that.  Apparently the whole house was redone?  It needed a refresh, sure, but changing the whole architecture is laughable.

Sarah cried for like 2 years. It was nice to see her giddy and happy even if it was for only short time.  Maybe she could be her goofy self with Zander.

if they’re gonna bring this chick back just to stir sauce or chop peppers for hours a week they can keep it.  There was actual performers who’s characters did things that Show pink slipped for this.

Chanel has a lot to learn before she becomes an even barely competent grifter, which seems to be her sole available career choice because she does not know anything besides living off other people's money and favours. Her mother has been a pretty easy mark, which is not exactly rigorous training for the real world. Blurting out the scheme before the sucker you are trying to scam is beyond stupid.

She does have a backup tactic, i.e. turning on the (artificial and not very convincing) charm on others, like she tried with Eli when she learned he was a cop during the champagne kerfuffle in the square. But it is very easy to see through it and it will not take her very far. Perhaps the writers intend to portray her progress towards becoming a fully fonctional scammer, but that could take a long time and much screen time, and they rarely take the time necessary for such sub-plots to unfold.

Theo comes accross as taking advantage of a diminished Ciara by using her to live out a doomed fantasy. Not that Ben's latest scheme is any wiser.

Theo looks like so much like a baby that one might think creepy Ciara is literally robbing the cradle just by looking at the two actors together.

Sean and Ciara were very sweet together.  
finally Claire uses her brain and does not just go along with Bens stupid plan.  
Ben has always been possessive in his relationships. Maybe he should wonder if he gave Ciara more time and did not come on so strong if she would have given him chance.  
John still seems very angry and don’t think he is getting help with that.  
Justin is Belles lawyer ?   Good thing she is starting to figure things out. 
why is Rafe still so hang up on Hope?  They did not work out for a reason.

Liked the dynamic between Jan and Nicole. One still bad while the other now good. Now show will set up Rafe between Ava and Nicole. If GV doesn't come back then Rafe and Nicole together will be good. Also Nicole's hair looked good today!

Ben appears to live at Jake's old apartment above his garage, and Xander told Chanel the other day that he's months behind on his bill - he just flirted with the manager who gave him more time.

I assume that Rafe is paying for the groceries.

THIS!  The only positive thing Theo has done in regards to Ciara is stopping Ben from injecting her with our favorite mad doctor's memory serum.  Theo seems to be thinking of himself as some sort of noble savior but he's just like Ben in that all of his actions regarding Ciara have been for his own selfish desires.  Neither Ben or Theo are any type of a good guy in this storyline --I can't wait for the bland Theo and his amnesiac girlfriend to be to vanish from my screen and I hope they take Ben with them.

The show kept mentioning Hope but I guess she won't be making an appearance any time soon.  I do like the Claire and Belle scenes and I hope we see more of them interacting with Shawn, Marlena and John--I completely believe their family dynamic.

I thought the actress was trying to give Sarah dimensions as a character.  It never bothered me as a viewer and I appreciated her efforts in trying to make Sarah distinct. Who says a Doctor can't be neurotic in their private lives.  I miss Lindsey and Sarah.

And don’t get me started on Theo. Theo is now 100% rid of his autism? And he  is almost as bad as Ben, wisking  her off to another country when he knows she is married. Shaun must be the most easy going guy ever.  His sister says she afraid and Ben tried to stab her with a memory syringe.  Shawn shrugs it off.  I have a brother and that is not they why he would act.   
  Shaun’s wife is arrested for murder and he does not seem surprised.  
 

Also to address something a while back.   I live an apartment the ring in thing has broken for the three years I have lived here.  The door only ever shuts and locks right when you are carrying in groceries.

Nicole getting into it with Jan was the most I enjoyed her in ages. A shame they don't share more scenes.

I think Xarah have chemistry but I did find Sarah exhausting to watch and believe Xander is better as a pop up villain than romantic lead. That being said she deserved a better exit than what she was given so I do hope she comes back to at least bring closure to Xander/Sarah.  

I'm find with Hope/Ciara reuniting on screen the show would've found a way to ruin it if Hope was actually here(they might try and stick her with Rafe again or something)

Hope did her time in Rafe Hell let Ava suffer in her place.

Ava just cooks? She can't watch the non-existent TV? Not read a book? Play games on a computer? Take some courses to get some skills to get a job? And now has an attraction to Rafe? Um.

So John saw someone wearing Belle's coat but didn't see the face of the woman who shot Charlie. The red coat must mean Belle - if it was a super expensive coat that wasn't in all the malls in Salem. Who would hate Belle enough to frame her?

Both Theo and Ben have stupid plans. Theo, the fantasy is not going to work out.Ciara is technically married to someone else. Surprised that she didn't start divorce proceedings. Did you ever think of calling the South African Consulate for any visa requirements? Ciara can stay 90 days as a tourist. That is it. Anything else requires a visa. You're going to do the 90 The Other Way Girlfriend thing to see if it works out or she gets her memory back? Her mom is in Morocco? Why would the Ciara trail lead there? Vincent has goons? Did she make a pit stop in the Congo to visit Eric? Africa is just a tiny continent the size of a small European country. Shawn Douglas or Hope's parents should be making decisions about Ciara and her treatment. Sure, she can go to South Africa but it is not the best idea.

Ben, listen to Claire and get out of that stupid idea to take Ciara to the cabin so she forcibly gets her memory back.

Remember or not it's hard to argue with someone getting away from their husband the serial killer.  

What gets me with her exit is that even if her memory is bad her self-centeredness and selfishness seems to be intact.  Her mom is ready to fly home and be reunited with her worthless daughter AND be able to celebrate with everyone else who loves her but to hell with that, Ciara is ready to leave NOW.

Ben deserves to kidnap her just to find out how horrible she really is.  They really are a couple who are made for each other.

Hopefully, while Ciara is gone Ben will realize that there's another woman right in front of him who can take Ciara's place, who is almost exactly like her especially in personality.  No not Claire.  Julie!  She's just as annoying, as dumb and as full of herself - Ben should be head over heels in no time.

Agreed.  I wasn't a fan of the baby-talking Sarah but being a doctor doesn't preclude a person from having quirky personality traits.

I'll vote for this, too.  Theo and Ciara have a much longer history than Ciara and Ben, and if I had a friend who had the misfortune of marrying a serial killer, I'd be more than happy to whisk them off to another country while they had amnesia.  

If RSW was skilled performer, I thought his scenes with Claire could have been interesting as a man who's coming undone by the thought of his wife leaving town while hating him.  Marci Miller is killing it as a woman who is struggling with her life seemingly falling apart around her.  

I loved Jan pointing out Nicole's sordid past, and it only reminded me of how much I dislike this sanctimonious version of "reformed" Nicole.  Blech.  

Belle's horror at her own father no believing that she committed murder was lovely.

THIS. People keep talking about Theo taking advantage of her, but how exactly is he doing that? Ciara may have memory loss, but she's not brain damaged in such a way that she can't make conscious choices for herself, including where she wants to live or who she wants to be with. She knows she's missing a few years of her life, she knows she is married, and she doesn't care. Theo's not "letting" her do anything or forcing her in any way. Theo has talked about her being married, he's asked about the potential of her getting her memory back and wanting Ben again and she wants to live in the now. Is that the most mature way to go about things? No. But it's her stupid decision to make. And Theo knows he's facing potential heartbreak. If he wants to roll the dice on that, it's up to him.

Theo's the only one really acting sane here. Yes, he wasn't around to witness the grand ferocity of an epic love such as Cin's, and he is coming from a place of selfishness because he wants a shot with her, but I still approve of anyone not being gung-ho to see their friend go back to a serial killer, especially if she's actively telling him that's not what she wants. 

I marginally like Ciara better like this because it has always been absurd that she fell for a serial killer, but yes, she is still so obnoxious and spoiled. I seriously wanted Justin to wring her neck the other day when she threw attitude that he and the rest of her family were totally cool with letting her marry a serial killer. He should have refreshed her memory - forcefully - that she was a huge witch to anyone who tried to talk sense into her about her choice of significant other. She's basically acting the same way now - instead of whining/yelling at people for not singing her serial killer boyfriend's praises, she's whining/yelling at them for singing her serial killer husband's praises to her.

It was incredibly selfish of her to stop Hope from coming home. Like Shawn said, she could meet up with Theo later. There was a lot of other family Hope could have spent time with/been reunited with other than Ciara by coming home. I get her wanting Ben to stay away, but she may have some memory loss, but did she forgot restraining orders exist?

It is a little odd that with how vehement she is about not wanting to be with Ben, not a single person has brought up divorce. Maybe they're trying to set-up subconsciously she still loves him so she doesn't want to sever their relationship. Or maybe they just want it to be dramatic when she serves him with papers off-screen in a few weeks? Or maybe she'll mention it before she leaves. Who knows.
