I'm going to give the show the benefit of the doubt and guess that we'll get Lettie Mae having a flashback of Tara's death to see how it actually happened.

Worse than the handling of Tara's story for me are the dream sequences of her digging in the ground like a dog. Like, why? I've never really been a fan of her character but even I'm pissed off at the way they've treated her this season. Terry got way more respect in terms of sending off a character.

Dawwww, Hoyt and Jessica make a cute couple :)

Also, fare-thee-well, Tara and Violet.  The former's storyline was about as substantial as the mist she dissolved in and the latter got a laugh out of me when she summed up poor Jason as nothing but a dumb lay.

That better not be the whole gist of the Tara thing, because what a freaking waste of time. Well, almost. Little Lafayette was awesome.

I actually clapped when Hoyt appeared and blew Violet away. Also, I noticed that this show has about 500% more heart when Hoyt is around.

Sookie is an annoying dumbass. Also, grass is green.

Thinking about it as a collection of individual scenes there were some great moments, mostly in the first half.  The storytelling, however, is a flippin' joke, imho.  That was all we get with Tara's off-screen death?  For putting up with Violet and runaway teenagers in some random mansion?

I should've guessed it from Terry's eternal funeral last season, and I need to learn the writer's names.  Their style is not mine.

I'm again wondering why they didn't just wrap up with a 2-hour movie.  They didn't need ten episodes.

On the bright side- Hoyt and Jessica are cute.  And, looks like they brought in a random for Jason so I'll assume he's going to wind up happy at the end, which is fine.

I am so glad the Violet torture stuff wrapped up so quickly.. go Hoyt!!! I was fearing some long drawn out torture porn before someone finally rescued them.

Bye bye, Violet... you will not be missed!!! You misjudged Jason's empty headed stupidity...

Oh, Hoyt.  You will forever have my thanks for getting rid of Violet.  That was the most satisfying moment of this episode.

Actually, the Hoyt stuff was the best part of the episode, anyway.  He's a great, grounding presence in the show.  He and Jessica still have a lot of chemistry, and seeing him and Jason pal around was great.  If Hoyt really was serious about not having children, it makes even more sense for him and Jessica to end up together.

Otherwise, so much of this episode had me going "Yeah, ok."  Tara's plot all this time was searching for a gun. Yeah.  Ok.  And the thought of Tara apologizing for not killing her father is bogus.  She was five years old at the time, she damn sure didn't owe Lettie Mae any kind of apology, but I'll take it just to get some kind of closure for this ridiculous plot.  At least Reverend Daniels came back, he's cool.  But for the most part, it's such a shame.  Tara deserved better.

Also, I thought Tara didn't know who her father was.  Could have sworn that was mentioned in season 1.

Um, Bridgett, you can't just hop in a cop's car and say you're going with him.  He's a cop.  Your stupid ass would have deserved to get shot or eaten, but at least she had the sense to call Hoyt for backup.

Poor Eric, you could tell he was so deflated because Sookie didn't give a crap that he was cured, she was just concerned about Bill.  And wow, did she lay it on thick when Eric glamoured her.  I wouldn't have believed her, either.

Can't believe there's two episodes left.  It's so meandering.

Anybody else think Jason is going to swear off sex forever? Yeah . . . me neither. Not even watching his ex getting threatened with a red-hot poker (and then some) would dissuade the monster that lives in his pants.

I should be glad Tara got closure. Just wish we could've stepped off the V-bus for it to happen. And I still don't think Lettie Mae is going to be normal.

Dawwww, Hoyt and Jessica make a cute couple :)

Agreed. Also nice of Hoyt to blow away Violet, and he accidently avenged his mother . . . so, bonus. I'm still thankful that Maxine got killed, because bitch couldn't support a second dimension if she tried.

And Bill says "no"! Why didn't I see that coming? He's going to wind up a dude smoothie, and Sookie's probably going to live as a spinster, because her choices in men sucked.

I enjoyed about 90% of this episode, the only down points was the Tara/Lettie Mae stuff. I knew those visions weren't a major event for the season, knew it was a personal trip for Lettie Mae and Tara but the resolution felt kind of pointless.

I'm also confused with the whole Jessica, Hyot, Jason Bridget thing. I honestly can't tell what they're going for there? Why have that Hyot/Jess scene if they're going to end on Jess/Jason? Same with the Bridget/Jason scene? It all felt very convoluted.

I am so glad that Eric is cured. YAY ERIC!

I have never been into Hoyt and Jessica but must say that they were all kinds of cute.

So the show is in one of its final episodes and the most interesting thing they could manage was a flaming hot dildo?  Okay.

I'm glad Eric is cured.  He and Pam need to pack up and move far away from the stupid now.  Nothing more to see here.  Sookie is going to continue to be stupid until the bitter end and Bill seems determined to go down in a puddle of goo with her.

My boyfriend was giving me updates on the show via text tonight and a selection of mine read "NO!  BILL NEEDS TO DIE!  I HATE HIM!"  "Die Bill!  Die now!!"  and "Shut up Sookie!"  If next week doesn't start off with Bill being a bill of goo, I will be sorely disappointed.

Agree with many of you:  Anything that didn't involve Hoyt or Eric was a waste.

At the time, I was so pleased his character was going away b/c that entire Jason-Jessica-Hoyt thing was so screwed up.  Now though, I'm happy Hoyt is back.  Something about Parrack's presence is just comforting and his Hoyt has such great chemistry with Jason and Jessica.

Yay!  Cured Eric!  Poor Eric looked so sad that Sookie was basically like "You're cured?  How can this help Bill?".  The guy that plays the Dallas head of the Japanese corporation (Imma call him Wo Fat b/c I know him as that from Hawaii Five-O) and the Tokyo Drift cars never fail to make me laugh.  Wo Fat and Eric/Pam's union are never going to last.

Dude...Bill...you don't want to drink the blood?  Then, die.  I'm perfectly fine with it at this point.  Pain in the ass that he is.

Also, I feel like we're taking 5 years to get anywhere.  There are only 2 episodes left, but let's spend a HUGE amount of time on Bill/Sookie pillow talk and Laettie Mae and Tara's weird nonsense.  What a disservice to Tara's character and to the actress!  Can we move it along?!

It's genuinely offensive to me that the whole point of this Tara thing was for her to absolve Lettie Mae of responsibility for her monstrously abusive parenting.

This.  Plus, they're saying that Lettie Mae went on a downward spiral because Tara's father left them.  So whose to say that the same thing wouldn't have happened if Tara actually shot him?  Either way, he would have been gone.

Of course Bill would rather die than go on another day with his man pain.  ::eyeroll::     Eric, I'm sorry Sookie doesn't appreciate you.  But she is as dumb as her brother, seriously.

Hoyt was great, and happy dance for Violet being dead.  But I don't know about Hoyt and Jessica back together.  Jessica doesn't seem to do well in relationships.

That was the best the writers could come up with for Tara's storyline?  Bleh.  Give me Laff and hot James.

The thing with not wanting to cure is potentially interesting since people say that drug companies do the same thing it with two episodes left I guess it won't go anywhere.

Convenient of Gus to leave just in time for them to sneak down to the basement. Where did all the guards go?

If Bill didn't want to be cured, why bother to go all the way to Shreveport to Fangtasia's torture dungeon?  For someone who allegedly has the fastest moving Hep-V EVAR, he certainly seems to be okay wasting a lot of time doing a lot of nothing.  Maybe all the pointless flashbacks, nonsensical fantasy, and Sookie's stupid are making his final days seem longer to him.

Tara's "no more blame" worked for me as her achieving peace, including unfinished business (aka rage) at her mother.

Every scene with Hoyt and Jason was gold. I loved Hoyt charging to the rescue. I'm not sure that Jessica should be so shiny eyed at Her Hero, as if Hoyt had finally earned her respect. (I for one don't remember her having any.) Jessica and Jason friendzoning each other was nearly as peculiar as Bridget. Bridget may not be as nuts as Violet but she's no happy ending for either Hoyt or Jason. Why doesn't Jessica break down and tell him to remember?

If Bill wants to die and get that horrible vampire crap over, it would make him a  better man than Eric. If he just won't take advantage of something withheld from the rest of his people? Idea makes me want to puke, sorry.

This episode went right in line with how terrible this season has been. The Tara stuff feels like it was a waste of time that could have easily been wrapped upseveral episodes ago. Also, I agree that it's bullshit and too ridiculous that LM was essentially absolved of having been a terrible mother. I just can't see Tara blaming and guilting herself over NOT having killed her father at that young age.

The family just standing there during all of that ridiculousness made the scenes all the more annoying for me. Also, again with the lack of continuity when it comes to regular people being afraid of roaming hep-v vampires.

I will admit to being pleasantly surprised that Hoyt ended up being the one to get rid of Violet but I feel like she should have been gone awhile ago as I never felt like she really belonged on the show. It wasn't about her being villainous, I just didn't really get her purpose.

Another surprise for me was Bill refusing the cure. I thought he'd drink Sarah's blood and it just wouldn't work because he has this intensified version of the disease.

Sookie trying to play along as though she'd been glamoured was lame.

Only two more episodes of silliness to go.

It didn't come across to me like "I had all this anger at you, and I have to just let it go, because we can't change the past."

It came across as, "I just had to let you know that you were a good mother, and that despite your mistakes, you tried your best."

It just made me shudder.

I don't think they are going Jason/Jessica.... not with the stuff they talked about this episode, and Jason admitting a couple of episodes ago that he's never really felt love for anybody.. Jessica was just a "maybe a little bit"... So I'm good with him not being with Jessica.

I don't think her with a human Hoyt is going to be that great either- it will have the same problems their old relationship had... so maybe Jessica will end up alone.

I'm glad Tara got more of a goodbye, since exploding into goo isn't a nice farewell no matter when it happens... and I can understand why they didn't show her death on screen, it's not very dignified... but.. the whole gun/ sad birthday thing was kind of lame. But I guess it ties in with all of the forgiveness stuff that this season has been all about.

There have been times that I wished Deborah Ann Woll played Sookie or Jessica was the main character. And tonight was a reminder. I love the stuffing out of her....she`s gorgeous and a really good actress and has chemistry with every male she comes into contact with. If every supernatural on this show was in love with her, I'd buy it.

Her and Hoyt were adorable. She and Jason had a nice scene. Love her.

Pam is the best- the look she gave when Sookie's name came up mixed in with Japanese. Eric is also the best. The Tara stuff is annoying- the writers of this show have never known what to do with her and this is just another example.

Also, shut up, Bill.

How did shooting Violet kill her? Did Hoyt get some wooden-core bullets? Or has it been established that shooting a TB-universe vamp in the heart kills them?

They showed Jason loading the gun he left with Bridget with wooden bullets... surely he took the gun from her in the car and that's what he used to shoot Violet.

I'm glad DAW didn't play Sookie, because all this loathing would be heaped on her.  In all fairness, when it comes to Sookie, I don't consider Anna Paquin to be problem, it's that Sookie is written to be such a shitty character.

This confused me, because I thought when vamps were shot with wooden bullets, they would just explode immediately.  Didn't that happen to Franklin?

When Violet was shot, you could see her veins getting darker and blood starting to leak out of her head.  I thought the bullet was laced with some type of Hep-V virus or something and that was why she exploded.

No.. they just slowed it down so it took a little longer, I guess... but it was the gun that Jason had loaded with wooden bullets... Like how Roman sort of melted instead of straight up exploding immediately when Russell staked him...

I think it was all for the visual.

The most disturbing part of this episode was when Sookie drove up in her dead boyfriends car to try and save her ex/new boyfriend, aka the reformed jerk who started all this and now won't even get himself cured.  Sorry, I have Bill issues.

I agree with this statement. I hate Suckie like she is a walking, talking Ebola virus, but AP is not the problem, it's the character. I grew to hate Suckie in the books and quite frankly only read as much as I did because of other characters. I never bothered with the last two because it was just too much with the snow flaking over an unworthy character. What we see on screen is 100% the fault of the writers who seemed to be mesmerized by the very character traits in the book that made Suckie absolutely loathsome to me as a reader.

I hate Beeel in the books too, but at least CH had the good sense to dial his character back a few books in. When it comes to Beeel, Harris had it right. The only thing the showrunners had right was the decision to keep Lafayette alive. Nelsan Ellis is beyond compare and I will forever appreciate the show for bringing him to my attention. I for one will never understand why the showrunners were so invested in the horrid Beeel and Sookie love affair, as it was but a blip in the life of Sookie in the stories the series is based on. I guess they did crap on the character of Eric just as CH did, but at least CH gave a real relationship instead of the Bill placeholder crap we got here.

If Eric and Pam remain alive and LaLa remains alive and whatever these dopey writers consider happy (I will continue checking with you guys), I might give in and purchase the final season, as I realized that I have basically ff through everything that isn't Eric, Pam and Lafayette for the past three seasons anyway. It is amazing, but when you act as if they are the only characters on the show, it is actually an enjoyable watch. I don't know how I'm going to deal with the awful Lettie Mae ruining my Lafayette scenes.

Oh Yeah Writers: FU with a dildo the size of the Empire State Building for how you did Tara, in life, death, afterlife, true death and second afterlife . Guess it would have been too much to actually write at least a decent send-off for the character. I mean doing that would have meant cutting at least one Beeel flashback and possibly a Beeel and Suckie scene and we all know how the world was clamping for and so enjoyed that mess.

Dear Bill: Couldn't you at least have said "no" before everybody was in the Yakuza den? I mean, granted, it turns out that they have absolutely no security whatsoever on their most valuable asset, and Eric has been free to go downstairs and kill her at any moment that he got the urge, but how was anybody supposed to know that? Was the top Yakowboy whose mind Suckeh read actually consciously thinking: "... yeah, with what we've got downstairs... hey, I wonder if we should start putting guards down there too... nahhh... I can't make any of these guys work on Shirtless Poker Day... it's the only thing they have to look forward to now that the karaoke machine's broken..."

As lame as Sookie not simply reading Sarah Newland's mind and finding out that she's the cure?  Since when can Sookie touch people and see the 'previously on True Blood ...'  And she saw them take the cure out of Sarah with a syringe - why wait for Bill to shamble his ass in there when she can go get a needle and draw out what Bill needs?

Why are the yakuza guys hanging out at Fangtasia?  They got their cure and their deal with Eric and Pam, so now they're what, staying to explain their business plan and menace them to make doubly-sure they keep quiet about it?  They're in, so either kill them or get back to yakuza work.  You know, keeping a low profile, at least when you're not shooting up a GOP fundraiser.  This show.

I liked that young Tara barely buried the gun, and yet there it was over a decade later.  They didn't even have to dig that much, they just had to get to the house and see more flashbacks.

About Fangtasia- I appreciate that Pam/Eric would make that the hideout.  But...didn't it sort of burn a little during the fight between the Hep-Vamps and the ill-fated townspeople of Bon Temps?  I vaguely remember flaming bottles being thrown, and I wasn't paying enough attention tonight to notice if it was still damaged.

I'm so relieved that Eric is cured and so happy that he will not end up with Suckie.  I know he can sometimes be bad ass and cruel (that's why I like him) but he certainly doesn't deserve to be punished with an Eric/Suckie endgame.  Yes!  Now he and Pam can go off together and have wonderful adventures.  Plus, I'd definitely watch a movie centered around the two of them.

I love the titles this season. "Lost Cause," "May Be The Last Time," "Almost Home..." they're all about how eager we are to watch a whole bunch more episodes, aren't they?

I hated Sam not being accounted for this week. Every time Jason walked past a bear or gorilla or even a zebra, I kept hoping it was him. Hoyt killing Violet was a good moment. But a gorilla killing Violet? Maybe with a giant wooden dildo through the heart? Would be awesome.

And don't tell me budget was a problem. Gorillas on TV shows are cheap. They can use the old suit from "Gilligan's island" for all I care.

Count me among the many who are glad to see Hoyt back. But I don't think he and Jessica can be plausibly crammed into a happy ending. Bill and Sookie can, because who gives a fuck about Bill and Sookie. But the best I could see for Hoyt and Jessica would be another five years or so, followed by a more congenial breakup than last time.  Which wouldn't bother me, but it's hardly anything to get excited about.

Although a five year spinoff series of them living in Alaska, dealing with werewolves and Wendigos and Sasquatches and Yukon Cornelius? Would be awesome.

Bridget or whatever her name is? Way too late in the series for me to give a damn about her.

Consolation prize for Jason maybe? What would that matter? There are ten episodes a season, and Jason usually has, what, two or three women a season? Jason may have a lot of angst about relationships, but, ultimately, he is not all that monogamous. What he needs is an open relationship, but I'm really not convinced he'd be able to feel secure in such.

So Lettie Mae didn't kill Tara? I've been working on the assumption we didn't see Tara die because we were going to get a big reveal that Lettie Mae killed her & not one of the vamps. So this whole thing was just so Tara could apologize for not shooting her father? What a waste of everyone's time.

I'm so glad Violet is dead, it should have happened last season & the way they're making things look, I guess Hoyt & Jessica end up together, & Jason & Bridget end up together.

My favorite moment was when Sookie walked away from Sarah Newlin, but I am just not interested in Bill dying to be with his first wife. If I was Sookie, I would stab him to death before he could die on his own.

This season could have been great, this isn't even close.

Why is any of this stuff happening? Who knows? Nobody knows why anything happens on this show, including the writers. At least we're in the home stretch now, boys and girls. Nothing to do but go with it.

Once upon a time I actually liked Hoyt; then the writers ran his character into the ground and I wanted him gone. Now he shows up again, and damn if I'm not happy to see him and hoping he and Jessica and Jason can make it all work out somehow. My guess is that Hoyt becomes a vampire so he can stay with Jess (can't go back to all that sun in Alaska) and Jason gets Bridget.

Similarly, I liked Steve Newlin, then I got sick of him, but I liked seeing him again in this episode. Maybe the problem is that the writers don't understand the difference between having fun with a character and turning them into a total joke. Hoyt as a goth fangbanger, Steve Newlin as Russell's boyfriend -- that stuff just didn't work. It wasn't character development, it was the writers screwing around. Now that Hoyt and Steve are back to their old selves, I remember why I liked them in the first place.

I knew the resolution of Tara and Lettie Mae would be terrible, and sure enough, it sucked. Why couldn't we have ten episodes of Lafayette and Tara drinking margaritas in purgatory or something, and then an emotional goodbye? That would have actually been nice to see, so instead we get a big fake climax that doesn't even make sense. Whatever. Sorry, Tara, you deserved better.

Violet's torture chamber was just sick and really not appropriate for this silly show, IMO. Why was she so pissed at Wade and Adalyn anyway?

Pam officially wins the Only Character With a Brain Left on This Program award. Is it wrong that I keep wanting Eric to get back into his brown Republican suit and 80s hair? AS just rocked that look. Now I really want him and Pam to end up as behind-the-scenes Washington power brokers. They're wasting their talents on the morons in Bon Temps.

In other shallow news, Arlene looked amazing in that red dress. Yay her.

I do not give even the tiniest fuck what happens to Bill.

What?!  Is this really the end of Tara/Lettie Mae's stuff?  So, she actually did get killed by a Hep-V vampire, and all this crap was just so Lettie Mae can move on and forgive herself for being a horrible mother?  Bullshit!  Again, I wasn't even a huge fan of Tara, but she was a main character, and deserved a better send-off, then just propping up Lettie Mae.  I really hope there is more to this, but it just wouldn't fucking surprised me, at this point.  Worst, Lafayette got dragged into this, so he's been wasted in the final season. Ugh, I think I might have disliked all this more then the Bill flashback's.  Only thing that I kind of liked was seeing Breakout Kings' Malcolm Goodwin as Lettie Mae's abusive ex.

So, the almighty Violet falls at the hands, or to be exact, wooden bullet courtesy of Hoyt!  A fitting end to that character.  And, hey, unknown to Hoyt, he just got revenged for his mother's death.  But, I"m glad Violet was stopped in time.  No matter how idiotic Wade and Adilyn where, and no matter how wrong Jason and Jessica were to cheat on her, I didn't want them to go through any of what she was planning.  So, thanks, Hoyt!  Hoyt is the best.  Enjoyed all his scenes with Jason and Jessica.  Not sure what this means for the endgames.  I had thought for sure it was Jessica/Jason, but this episode seemed to be leaning towards a Jessica/Hoyt reunion, and Jason and Bridget hooking up.  Can't say I really care, but since I like all the actors, I don't mind too much.

Eric is finally cured!  But, wait!  Bill gets to opportunity as well, but refuses!  Has he gone all emo, now?  All "I don't deserve to live!", or some shit like that?!  Whatever, Bill.  Such a drama queen.

Sookie dealing with the Yakuza guys just cracked me up.  I find Anna Paquin hit or miss on this show, and this was a miss this time. Her acting was all over the place, and I can't believe Gus didn't see through all of it.  Eric sold it, but Sookie couldn't have been more obvious that she was just playing along.

"Almost Home", indeed.  Two episodes left!  And then, a whole bunch of talented actors and actresses will be free!

Everyone in town knew Bill was sick, so wouldn't people start asking pesky questions if he's suddenly healed?

At least it got a laugh out of me when Pam said to Bill "What are you waiting for? Drink her already, before we all die."

I was wondering if Bill would turn into goo as he was walking towards Sarah Newlin ever so slowly.

Yes, why didn't Sookie just get some blood out of Sarah Newlin so they don't have to drag Bill's ass over to Fangtasia? I didn't see any syringes around, so maybe that's why. She didn't have anything to gather some blood with. Though I wonder if it would have made Sookie into another cure if she bit Sarah and drank her blood herself.

I take it that Bill is not curing himself because of that dream where Sookie has a blackhole instead of a baby. He feels like he needs to die for Sookie's life to be "normal" or some such nonsense. Get off the cross, Bill, we need the wood.

Yeah, that "let's make the cure work less well" thing made me think of the rumours about big pharma withholding the cure for cancer, too. Though it would be stupid in this case, since unlike cancer, Hep V poses immediate dangers in the form of out of control vampires that could kill you so you're no longer alive to enjoy the money you're making by withholding the real cure.

Violet's torture chamber was just sick and really not appropriate for this silly show, IMO. Why was she so pissed at Wade and Adalyn anyway?

She wanted to hurt Jessica in every way by torturing the one person Jessica was determined to protect.  That's why she tricked them into coming to her mansion in the first place.  The fact that they were deeply in love with each other was what really angered her with them because she wanted that type of love with Jason.

Now for the episode...

I too loved that Eric was cured.  I also believe he is going to do the okie doke with Texas Jack.  Although Sookie acting glamoured was kinda lame, it was necessary to get her out of there alive.  I believe Eric will do whatever he can to stop the dilution of the New Blood and get the actual cure.

Bill's flashbacks were just boring but I guess they are needed as his reason for turning down the cure.  He is missing his old family.  Puts Pam/Eric in a bad situation, tho

Glad Violet got offed and we weren't put through the torture scenes.  I wouldn't mind seeing Hoyt and Jessica back together.  I also believe he would have to be turned to fully work with Jessica and as a replacement for Beel

The Tara was so miserably anticlimatic and no, I also cannot see how Lettie could be absolved.  However, it could be that with Tara on the other side, she realized how fragile her mother was and still is.  Lettie needed that absolution to help her move on and clean up her life.

I also like that James came back and supported Lettie

I can see Texas Jack getting killed and Pam/Eric taking over the business in the end.  I also see Sam leaving to be with his GF and daughter and Arlene taking up with her new vamp lover.

I also see Bridget and Jason getting together.  She is already lusting after him.

Don't know what is planned for Sarah Newlin; will she die or stay captured and used for experiments?

I watched this episode live and regretted almost every minute of that decision. I wanted to fast forward so so so many times.

Best part of the ep was Cured!Eric, and little Lafayette. The kid they found to play him was PERFECT.

This show needs to end.

I agree with your boyfriend.

I think Bill's refusal of the magic hepV curing blood is supposed to tie back to his having been a fairly conflicted vampire before he got evil and became a god and all.  Maybe he's tired of drinking blood and killing people so he's just going to let himself die.  The one problem with that is that a suicidal vampire doesn't need to go to all that trouble of catching a disease and take the time to wait out the disease's progress.  He or she can just take a wee stroll outside when the sun is up.  I have a suspicion that Bill's sacrifice of himself and Sookie's reaction to it are going to annoy me greatly.

It's curious that Bridget is a microbiologist.  When she was first introduced, I figured that she'd somehow be involved with the cure of HepV maybe by culturing a microbe that produces the cure or something.   It seems like a fairly specific and unusual occupation and one that wouldn't be all that common up in the oil fields of Alaska where Hoyt has been working, unless he was hanging out in bars near one of the university campuses or near a Federal lab.

I take it that Bill is not curing himself because of that dream where Sookie has a blackhole instead of a baby. He feels like he needs to die for Sookie's life to be "normal" or some such nonsense. Get off the cross, Bill, we need the wood.

This is probably closer to the direction they'll take than my guess that Bill's tired of being a vampire.   Everything has to keep coming back to Bill and Sookie, despite they're being an uninteresting and even disliked couple.

Couldn't Bill have mentioned his ambivalence about being cured while they were spending an hour driving to Fangtasia? Even when Bill's trying to be noble, he's still an asshole.

Finally our long pointless Violet nightmare is over. What will never be over for me is my frustration with how they've bungled so many storylines this final season: Alcide, Violet and Jason, TARA!!!!
