  1. I can’t buy the housekeeper being THAT traumatized. And certainly not enough to deface a painting.
  2. “Are you sure your vife von’t come home?” 😆
  3. Worst cold-air breath CGI ever.
  4. That was weird, and I’m not sure factual. I was curious too, so I looked it up. Apparently normally you get a pile of ashes, but they’re still sort of skeleton-shaped. Then they get ground up and put in an urn. But the baseballs looked like an odd unnecessary intermediate step.
  5. Better than gas cars; they don’t require a block heater and they go as soon as you press the pedal. However, their range can be cut in half in extreme cold, and they might take longer than usual to charge. But you’re not faced with that dreaded rr-rr-rr sound of a gas car that’s just too cold to start.
  6. My money is on Danvers. Navarro is too “by the book but compassionate”. Danvers is more “eff him, serial abuser, let’s not wait for the courts.” And maybe Navarro came close to reporting her.
  7. Finally we see some sunlight! Noon maybe? Show warning said “coarse language”. I guess frozen dead nudity doesn’t count? 🙄 What is “homebrew”? I’m guessing Danvers is the one that made the murder into a murder suicide?
  8. How did the match in the sundae glass summon Poseidon?
  9. Found this: It’s actually surprisingly colourful, and not as dark as one tends to imagine. It’s more like a never ending sunrise, or sunset. True, there is no sunlight. But you still get the twilight spectrum, and it can have amazing colours. And I mean, for hours and hours on end.
  10. All I remember is “I’ll take a six of Lone Star or Old Milwaukee, nothin snooty” 😆 (which of course set up his testimony to be inadmissible) Plus the amazing continuous shot in the finale.
  11. Probably not for a while. Danvers mentioned 38°, the temperature of an average refrigerator.
  12. OK, bear with me. Did I see a scene (hallucination?) of a youngish guy with half of his head missing whispering a word to Danvers? Because scanning through the episode, now I can’t find it. (Might’ve been something I glanced at before the episode… it’s late 😊)
  13. But didn’t Agnes say they had stayed up all night waiting for Marian, so Ada could finally announce? Seems like they could just as easily have stayed up until 2 instead of 6 or 7. And again, same time conundrum… did Agnes and Ada really wait in that sitting room for 7 or 8 hours, after coming home from the Academy?
  14. - Everyone at the opera was talking far too loudly once the performance began. You don’t speak in a normal conversational tone once it’s started. - I don’t see how Marian could promise to be part of Frances‘ life. Either she’s that ditzy, or she was just trying to make Frances feel better, knowing that eventually daddy would find Harriet 2.0. - It seemed a bit odd that the Russells celebrated until the wee hours. I imagine they had a midnight supper after the opera? And then a 6 AM breakfast? Awfully long time for everyone (including Marian!) to be sitting around the Russell house chatting about the events of the day. It would have made more sense for Larry to escort her over at 1 or 2 AM. Plus, as others have said, the broad daylight kiss was a tad unseemly— but a late night one would have been more appropriate.
