I think someone did!

I loved that Half Baked reference! - https://youtu.be/hTOKJTRHMdw

I'm surprised no one really tried to push Guillermo out of the family portrait.  It was kind of them, though they always have to complain about his presence.  I laughed when Donal Logue ended up hanging around to draw a portrait and talk about his Hollywood experience.

Nandor and Guillermo really got into it!  I'm surprised that Nandor wants him hanging around after Guillermo made that bold statement and attacked him.

Lazslo really just locked a human into a coffin?! LOL.

I wasn't expecting a baby Colin Robinson, especially one with an adult face.  Very creepy!

I can't wait for next season.

Wow. As Lazlo put it: ". . . shit."

The cliffhanger this season outdoes last year. Lazlo continues to show some measure of caring (which I still think is suspect, but whatever), opting to take care of Creepy Baby Colin Robinson. Granted, he's still a dick . . . trapping Guillermo in his coffin, lying to Nadja, and seemingly breaking Nandor's heart. Of course, that's assuming Nandor wasn't going to ditch Gizmo ASAP. "Past the test," my entire ass. I believe Nandor's speech from two episode ago, and that he has grown to like/tolerate Guillermo not to foist immortality upon him. And that would be doing Guillermo a favor. He's been taking care of Nandor for twelve years. I would think the romanticism over getting turned would have been ground down to nothingness. He wouldn't HAVE to hunt vampires, but becoming one might be the worst option for him.

Donal Logue was cool. No Gotham mentions, though . . . a shame, since that filmed scenes on Staten Island. Speaking of which . . . would the show have to stay there? Right now, it's just Lazlo in the empty mansion, tending to Creepy Baby Colin Robinson. I know the gang will reunite, but who knows where that could happen.

Lazlo cares, but he can be very short-sighted about the finer details. Just remembered Nandor marveling over how fast Gizmo could move. That was hilarious.

And Pediasure.

All those missing photos of Colin Robinson in the intro made me feel a bit sad.

Spending a couple of years in the dirt sucking up corpse blood really chilled Baron Afarnas out. He seems very okay with being on the periphery of the little family rather than the center of attention, and just rolling with whatever.

Me too! Though if I needed more hope that he would live, that was it. Hurray! Of course he had to go and ruin Guillermo and Nandor's potential trip along the way. I had originally thought the Oreos were for Colin Robinson somehow, not yet knowing what he'd found in that basement yet. But Guillermo makes even more sense.

I feel bad for Nandor and Guillermo being separated like that, especially Guillermo. Of course there’s the physical peril, but also Gizmo had his dream come true promised to him.
I wish Donal Logue had mentioned being in Vikings. Were those actual paintings he had done?

I have to admit being amazed at Lazlo’s devotion to Colin Robinson. Does he feel bad about turning that baby? In any case, it appears that baby Colin Robinson grows fast. Boy, Nadja will be pissed!

I hate having to wait! 🤯

Can't remember the last time that a jump scare ever really got me, but Baby Colin popping up at the end almost did make me leap out of my chair.  And then laugh once I realized what just went down.  Well done, show!

So, damn, a lot certainly went down here and I'm curious to see how it all plays out.  Nandor is leaving the "Island of Staten" and planning on exploring the world, and is even finally willing to make Guillermo a vampire.  But now he thinks Guillermo abandoned him, and is off on his own little sad adventure.  I do worry he is going to get into trouble all by himself, because he admittedly isn't the brightest bulb all things considering.

Meanwhile, Nadja was apparently so good at leading the chapter of the Vampire Council that she has now been promoted to headlining the London chapter.  But instead of having Laszlo around to support her, she is going to have Guillermo instead!  I'm not sure how long this particular subplot will go on for, but I would be intrigued if we get more Nadja/Guillermo scenes going forward.

And, of course, almost all of this is because of one thing: Colin is alive!  Kind of.  It looks like he has been reborn as a baby and is growing at a rapid pace.  And I'm guessing Laszlo feels like he's responsible for him now.  I'm assuming the reason he didn't tell Nadja and did everything he did with Guillermo is because he doesn't want Nadja to turn down the job or anything, and rather she assume he just didn't want to go with her.  Or maybe he thought she wouldn't understand why he would want to help Baby Colin.  Either way, this should be one hell of a story going forward!

Vampire Donal Logue apparently is a painter as well thanks to all the downtime he has in between filming shows/films!  I hope we get more of him going forward.

Loved seeing the Baron again.  And the Nadja Doll.  And Viago!

Them removing or marking out Colin in the opening credits was a nice touch.

Another great season for a show that is definitely becoming one of my favorites.  In particular, The Casino and The Escape might be in my current top five of the entire series, but every episode had more than a few moments that mad me laugh out loud.  The entire cast was firing on all cylinders here, although I will single out Kayvan Novak this go around, as I felt like Nandor really stood out this season.  Hope the show gets some more Emmy nods and maybe some actual wins this time.  And I can't wait for the next season!

OK, show. You got me with the twists I didn’t see coming:  Gizmo is finally going to get everything he’s always wanted, and it gets ripped away from him by Lazlo and some Oreos; poor Nandor goes on his grand trip all by himself; and Nadja gets a big promotion but won’t be enjoying it much with Guillermo instead of Lazlo.

And Lazlo stays home with the Colin Robinson creepy baby.  While I expected he would be back in some form, this was not it.      Creeeepyyy.  I might feel bad for Lazlo sacrificing his time with Nadja to look after a helpless baby Colin Robinson if he hadn’t completely screwed over Guillermo without hesitation in the process.

Major character and plot advances, especially when Gizmo lays it out to Nandor and they throw down. And the show was also funny!  The sire and the baron and the good boy! hellhound just chilling out for the portrait and the randomness of Donal Louge as the artist was great. And major props to Kristin Schall’s whole body youhavegotobefuckingkidding reaction to hearing about Nadja’s promotion.
Can’t wait for next season…

And now the Vampiric Council of the Eastern Seaboard needs to be replaced again. I hope The Guide comes back, she's been a good addition to the gang. Wasn't Donal Louge part of the group that was told about, and shown, Nandor's body?

Maybe energy vampires exist in 100 year cycles, and this is at least Colin Robinson's second time. It would explain why he doesn't remember actually being turned or created. Which would make him over 200 years old and the picture showing him in 19th century garb not a mistake.

Did anyone catch what Laszlo was playing on the piano? I could swear it was Adele, but I am not sure (and the CC didn't say). EDIT; never mind; it's apparently a song called Take My Hand.

Also, "with a penny-farthing" made me laugh for a good 5 minutes!

I'm sure you are correct.  But who is the mother he mentioned? The person who found his baby form last time?

Baby Colin is probably going to need to drain a lot of people in order to grow up.  Maybe Lazlo should take him to a movie theater!  (I would say on a plane ride, but people would notice if CR grew from baby to teen by the end of the trip, which would be likely, based on how annoying a crying baby on a plane can be.)

Yes, that's when he explained how he decided to become a vampire after, I think, being in Blade. LOL.

I don't think he turned him. He's just an energy vampire baby. Which could probably be said about all babies, tbf.

I really love how Guillermo and Nandor are the two warriors in the house and the two biggest softies too. And that Guillermo wears a cross.

Guillermo probably does not need to even wear a crucifix or cross with his surname and Van Helsing blood.  Only Nandor would choose a familiar who's last name is "from the cross" in Spanish.

The funniest moment of the episode - Guillermo's "plancha!"

What's weird (and funny) about this show is that we see photos of the vampires through the ages in the opening credits, and they are often wearing period-appropriate clothes. But in the present day they are dressed in old-world style garb. And seeing Nandor in full vampire regalia with that stupid backpack was especially hysterical.

My favorite gag in this episode was Viago's, though. When the tape starts, he is talking to someone off camera, asking for reassurance that they didn't tape over RuPaul, because he hasn't seen it yet. And when the tape ends, there's static and then you very quickly see RuPaul!!

Better than raw chicken!

Continuity alert. They aren't supposed to know what Guillermo (or any human) eats. Maybe Laszlo was just guessing and had a better guess this time.

There was a shot of the SIre where he looked much less impressive than in The Escape, he basically just looked like a guy in a rubber suit. They must have to do some FX to make him look realistic and missed this shot.

I think LittleIggy was talking about Laszlo turning that baby years ago.  It came up during "The Trial" episode that Laszlo had turned a baby, dooming it to be a baby for eternity.  Laszlo caring for baby Colin Robinson would be some kind of pennance for that.

No, not Colin Robinson. I’m talking about a baby Lazlo turned into a vampire. It was mentioned in a past season as being an incredible sin. I think baby was showed on the episode.

Well in the words of Donal Logue, "oh snap."

I suspected that Colin Robinson might regenerate, but creepy baby Colin Robinson is definitely one of the creepiest things I have seen on television, take that American Horror Story." Its weirdly nice that Lazlo wants to stay and take care of creepy baby Colin Robinson and that he really was sad to see him go, but of course he handles it in the worst way possible. Instead of just explaining (possibly because Nadja might not accept her new job) he throws Guillermo into a crate to look after Nadja, with only delicious Oreos to sustain him, really pissing them both off and breaking Nandor's heart because he thinks Guillermo abandoned him on top of everything else, in a guinunly sad scene. I cannot wait for next season to see what happens next.

That fight between Nandor and Guillermo got surprisingly real, I continue to really appreciate how their fight choreography, like their effects, actually manage to look really good while also being funny.

Happy to see our other favorite roommates, especially the most adorable hellhound ever. This is the rare show that really gets better every season, I am going to miss seeing it so much, the next season cannot come back fast enough.

The whole cast is outstanding, but I think Kayvan Novak was the MVP, he really brought the funny as well as the pathos.

Lazlo wrote that letter saying he realizes Nadja doesn't need looking after, but then he sent Guillermo to take care of her.... Surely Guillermo will be FURIOUS about being locked up and forced to miss his adventure and vampire conversion with Nandor, and hardly in the mood to "take care of" Nadja.

And apparently Harvey Guillen came up with that himself because originally he didn't have a last name. And at that time he didn't yet know Guillermo's destiny.

Gah, and I thought doll Nadja was creepy.  That's gonna be hard to watch next season.  But I will certainly tune in.  @ItCouldBeWorse the idea that baby energy vampires are the ones crying on planes is brilliant.

This was not as impactful for me as last season's finale, but it would have been hard to top the massacre and the slayer reveal.  I did like the set up that everyone was together for the portrait including the hellhound.  I wonder whose idea it was to throw in a Jimmy the MTV cab driver reference in the discussion of Donal Logue's oeuvre.  Guillermo's "not panicking" way of panicking is great, and his throw down with Nandor was the highlight.  Guillermo dodging, catching, and throwing that knife was pretty epic.

It will be interesting to see the three vampires separate next year.  I actually hope this is good for Nadja.  It has felt like she didn't get as much to do this year, so I'd like to see the kind of development we got for Nandor and Lazlo for her.  I wonder if the Baron and the Guide will be around interacting with Lazlo and horrifying baby Colin Robinson.  Nandor is the real wild card in this.  It's hard to picture him out in the world alone.

It's one of Matt Berry's own songs. I've been listening to his albums all month, and I recognized it immediately. I love his music!

This was a great finale, and I can't wait until next season. I'm curious to see how long they're going to be separate before coming back together. I hope it's not too long, since they're definitely strongest when they're together.

That made me laugh, too. Perhaps he should get together with Nadja, since she now has all episodes from all seasons downloaded.

I wonder if Baby Colin will remain a baby for much of the upcoming season, or if he will grow up spontaneously in the first episode. I do think there’s a lot of humor to be mined from a baby energy vampire. Isn’t that the job of a baby, to suck the energy from all nearby adults? The previously mentioned airline and movie theater scenarios are good ones, but I can also picture Baby Colin in a grocery store, at a daycare tormenting the other babies, sucking the life from his pediatrician… yeah, I definitely want to see more Baby Colin Robinson.

Two things on my mind:

Nandor says, “My word is my bond.” Well, we heard that on Jerry Maguire. And it was a weak bond.

Also, I suspect even if Nandor finally does meet Guillermo de la Cruz on the banksof the Tigris and makes good on the promise Guillermo has wanted for so long, I bet Van Helsing blood CAN’T be turned. I predict it will be impossible to make him a vampire. But at least—I wish that—Nandor will validate his years of service and wanting by attempting it.

Speculation for next season. Because why not. We pick up 6 months after the finale. Colin Robinson is grown up again, and considers Lazlo his father. They have the Baron and the Sire over for tea once a month. Nandor is lost and wandering. Nadja has been taking out her anger at Lazlo by ruthlessly dominating the Worldwide Vampiric Council and is using Guillermo as her enforcer. He goes along with it because staking vampires lets him work through his frustration and anger.

Wouldn’t work on an atheist vampire then! 😏

It's about the faith of the believer, not the vampire. I know I've read at least theoretical stories that if you believe in something, it could still work. So if you're an atheist, just hold up this bad boy and it would work like a cross for a Christian.

I had a thought - I need to rewatch again - that the position that Nadja was offered wasn't to be on the council itself. Something pinged with Viago's wording - my first thought was that it was just be an auxiliary position of some sort - something humiliating possibly.

I thought that was how they were going to end it, with the Guide telling her "No, you're not on the council, you're just making the blood coffee" or something like that.

Ug,  I got all emotional with poor Nandor at the train station, everyone leaving - then WHAM! Baby Colin Robinson, yikes! I knew he had to respawn or something.

I can't believe we have to wait a whole year now, I hate cliffhangers.

Now to watch the whole season all over again. I've watched the previous 2 multiple times, this one needs more watchings.

I love this idea! I was also thinking that Colin would have an accelerated aging process, but I imagined that each episode would show a different decade of life, so to speak. I would love to see bratty teenage Colin Robinson, for example. Either way, I think he's going to be back in his adult form fairly quickly.
