God, Leah is such a loser!   Nothing that she's said on the show has been clever yet.  She's no Bethenny.  For all of Bethenny's issues, which are legion, she is great at the snappy one-liner.  When I picture Leah on the show I just picture that long blonde hair swinging everywhere and her awful squawky scream.

Even LUANN... LUANN OF ALL PEOPLE had "Goodbye from the Lower Level!"  That was hilarious and clever.  And "Sorry I called you a pedafile" with her own unique spelling.   "How could you do this.  Question mark."  And Ramona's malapropisms are honestly hilarious.  I even tell people who don't watch the show and we all laugh about it.  But Leah has said nothing worthy of a t-shirt!

I DON'T want Dorinda back but she had good one liners too.  "I made it nice" is legendary.  But I am not part of the group that wants her back!  Her anger has spoiled everything IMO.

Leah: Trying too hard to be outrageous...her gross remark about a sexual act at the dinner table was an example of that. She's too thirsty and so combative about everything. It's exhausting. Very immature and needy.

Exhausting is the perfect adjective for Leah. I'm sorry about her grandmother, but Leak is definitely the type to try to upstage the corpse at a funeral. I once described one of the SLC Housewives as someone who is trying to impress her inner 13 year old, but Leah is this even more so. Andy thought she would be a great addition to the show because she was edgy. What he got was sloppy.  Ebony must be mortified now that she befriended her.  I think she keeps throwing dow her food because of nerves being around Leah, especially after the Audrey dinner party.  A new low from Miss Edgy.  Ramona had to open her house to her also and didn’t like it I’m sure.  Leah just came in and took over.  Andy should throw off Leah and get some nice men on the scene. All these women do is bitch about each other.  They have no lives but drinking, eating and pooping.

After a few years of not watching the Jersey Housewives, I started watching again out of desperation.  At least Jersey has story lines.  Four episodes in of N.Y. and all we have is Sonja breaking down and the show getting more raunchy because of Leah.  Bravo had better go to the drawing board.  Ebony isn’t the answer, unfortunately.  They need more of something, or less of someone.

I don't think that's fair - we have no idea if Garth is like that or not. He doesn't do much for me, and obviously, the relationship with Lu wasn't that serious, but I don't think it is really fair to accuse him of being a gigolo without knowing anything other than the fact that he's a personal trainer and he dated Luann.

Unfortunately, I think this is where the show is going and these seem like "transitional seasons" where Leah will be introducing younger women to the group. I think Ramona and LuAnn know exactly what's up and that's why all of a sudden they're "friends", guaranteeing they'll have more scenes by filming together. 

I don't hate Leah but she doesn't belong here, however, I don't fault her for reading all of the things Heather had been saying about Lu and Sonja. I mean, Heather knew exactly what she was implying about the drugs' allegations and she knew that by mentioning LuAnn her little podcast would get at least a few more clicks; if she thinks there's nothing genuine about the Countess then why come back to the show? Why give her a speech about wanting to hang out more again? Let's be honest, she does want that fame/platform so she needed to kiss the ring.

You're right, Emmeline.  The more Leah goes after Ramona (or anybody), then I will automatically take that person's side.  I hope that Eboni can distance herself from Leah long enough to make her own opinions on the ladies.  I hate that Leah is constantly whispering in her ear about them.

Sonja has had the opportunity to use the money from this show in two important ways that would help her sleep better at night.  First, she needs a really good therapist, and lots of appointments with him or her.   It would be worth every penny.

Then, she needs a good financial advisor who can tell her to cut her spending on mystical cleanses, excessive plastic surgery and going out on the town drinking.   The stock market has been doing really well, and she could have made some nice profits just investing her Bravo salary in indexed mutual funds. 

She had a golden opportunity to sign a marketing deal with some toaster oven manufacturer to slap her "Sonja with a sexy J" name on it and do exactly what she's doing with "her" lifestyle fashion brand,.  She could have had years of being a toaster oven madame, with "her" own cookbook and cute little aprons and oven mitts and things. 

Kristin's husband and Heather could have helped her and even tried,  and Ramona is no slouch at running whatever business helped her make bank, but Sonja never got a good therapist and is a mess so she couldn't take advantage of her opportunities.  She needs to get her act together because this show will end someday.

Oh, I just realized that the blonde woman sitting to the right of Lu in the van is Leah!! I honestly didn’t recognize her because she wasn’t flailing and gesturing wildly and demanding attention!

They didn’t look very good, dressed as “Holly Golightly.”

No one got the dress right. Lu’s zipper was doing somersaults and made her look heavy. Ramona’s zipper was also problematic. Her dress was probably closest to paying homage to HG’s dress but was very blah.

Eboni wore the prettiest black dress.

Lu ignored the memo in order to wear a it’s-always-about-Lu statement necklace.

Sonja, as usual, was a hot mess. Her updo was the best, but she wore the wrong hair band. And were those cork or espadrille platform sandals? Lace bell sleeves. Idiot floozy.

Ramona, Eboni, and Sonja had the best hair.

None of them have the arms to pull off Holly Golightly.

I guess Ramona wore it best.

They should’ve mixed it up. As someone posted upthread, Leah should have dressed in a man’s tuxedo shirt with eyelash eyeshade and tassel earplugs.(Reese Witherspoon wore that in BLL.) Someone should have worn the huge black hat with ivory scarf prison visit outfit. Someone should’ve worn the drenched trench coat. Red/orange spring coat shopping outfit with tiny black hat. And how did Lu overlook the chance to wear her huge black shades?

Eh, she’s still silly. The count’s title isn’t recognized by France. None have been since they became a republic in the 1870s. 
 

and I just can’t quit Ramona. She can be so awful but then be so entertaining. I just think about people who’ve left who say she keeps in touch or was such a good friend when the cameras were off like when bethenny was sick with the uterine bleeding. She’s probably one of the more ‘full characters’ in the franchises. 
 

and co-signing to everyone who can’t stand Leah. I liked her in her first episodes but that quickly evaporated. She’s especially awful this season and I doubt she’ll improve. She really is, as others have said, the Brandi of this franchise.

I've also been thinking it looks like scarring and notice it every time she does the TH in that dress.  If it were scarring from an accident or an operation for medical need I wouldn't think any thing of it, but since it appears to be a result of breast augmentation which is usually done for enhancement I'm surprised she doesn't keep it covered.  It's certainly low enough that she could still wear something cut very low down and still leave that part covered.

I suspect it had more to do with getting someone who had a social media presence and podcast audience that they were hoping would bolster a different viewer demographic for the show.  I maintain my opinion that those people are not TV viewers as a rule.  I think production at Bravo liked her being a fly in the ointment last season, but have a feeling they might be seeing her through less rose colored glasses this season.  I've noticed a definite downward trend in support for her this season judging by what I've been reading in various online forums and blogs.
