I can understand how losing your parents can throw you for a deep emotional loop. My mom passed away this January and I've been a wreak ever since. Admittedly I'm up a few pounds because I started stress eating when she got her cancer diagnosis and I'm just now getting a handle on that. But I recognize what and why I was eating the way I was and now can get back on track. As hard as it is, you can't use these things as excuses forever. Otherwise you end up on an ugly stretch dress and no panties on this show.

Hi All!  Late to the party today...  I am having a sucky day - I saw a mouse scurrying clear across my apartment in the morning, and then I had a package of gourmet cheese sent for a teambuilding even tomorrow stolen because FedEx says they delivered it, and it was definitely not in the mailroom. And that's on top of near-sleepless night because I was working on a presentation I have to give tomorrow morning.  I decided to take a bath to salvage my day and of course lost track of time. 

Hope this one will be a good one.  No eating habit today yet... will be leftover garlic shrimp and sweet potato fries (made from frozen in my oven) and a piece of apple pie.

That cough sounds like the last act of Camille (isn't that the movie where she dies of TB in the end? )   I hope they do a chest xray, and a full cardiac workup.   

So out of five kids, she only sees one?    And he's the oldest that she's leaching off of?

My bff's uncle used to do that while he was eating and it drove me nuts  (she and I were roomies during senior year and college and living in our own place, and her mom and grandma came every Sunday to give us a big meal that didn't include ramen. 😂 he usually came along to to do any handy tasks, but mealtime was awful)

 

I cackled at Cameo and Dr. Now 

"So you enable her?"

"I do NOT!"

 

Her poor niece could barely see over the Mount Everest of BK she brought over, too. That was a disgusting amount of food.

She said the others are with relatives, so it might be that she sees them, but only lives with the one adult (and way more adult than mom) child.

I can't be the only person on this list forum who believes that the mouse got the cheese, right? 😂 But for real, I'm sorry your day sucked.

What a day! I hope you at least get the reward of having the poundticipant make it to surgery in under 2 hours.

Calling it right now: This is not Irene's apartment. This is some AirBnB that TLC organized for a couple months and decorated with some garbage they found in the clearance aisle at HomeGoods. It looks EXACTLY like all those fake apartments/home the "stars" of Love After Lockup live in -- no personal items, no clutter, completely clean, and recently decorated. WTF with this episode. Everything seems completely FAKE. And that's saying something for this show.
