I wish we would have seen the labels on the clothes that were magically imported from LA, something tells me those two dream makers from HO11 went to some store nearby and bought some things in Georgi's size.

D&S are wearing the "Finale" looks, usually the models do and then the designer comes out escorted by the models, that is how I have seen it done.

Florian looking like he was on the way to the bathroom, slumped posture, blank look...and then there was Georgi, looking like he lost a bet.  The only think Georgi was missing were bolts in his neck.

I hope the random people at the snack bar enjoyed the show, I saw no industry people there, no photographers, no media...the media missed out on all that mess set to "uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh..."

So I don't know where D&S were, but it sure as hell wasn't the official Miami Swim Week.

My understanding of Miami Swim Week is you have the big official site and shows.  Then you have pop up shows that the designers put on themselves by finding the location and models.  I found it funny that they did not have a person to sew during the model fittings.  I know that is standard procedure as they outfits fit the models perfectly and in order to do that there is always last minute alterations.

I couldn't figure out why they put Georgi in those clodhoppers, either.  I mean, wasn't the whole premise of their line (lol) beach wear and swim wear?  Who in their right mind would ever wear clodhoppers like those abominations to the beach?  Why not have him in men's slides or flip flops?  He walked like he couldn't even bend his feet from the ankles down.  

The mind, it boggles with these twits. 

I loved it when they handed Florian the flamingo speedo and he said, "What the fuck is this?" followed by "no, fuck no."  I think Florian has learned to pick his battles with Stacey and when he says no, he does indeed mean NO.  I also loved it last week when she tried getting him to wear a shirt and he said, "No pineapples or bullshit, no" or something like that, and again he did not wear that shirt.  

I used to go to the garment district quite frequently back in the day, and I wondered if they sent somebody out scouting the garment district to pick up the "imported from LA" and shipped overnight crap.  

Mini Persnickety and I actually watched this episode again yesterday just because it was so snarkworthy and hilarious on so many levels.  Here's hoping to an equally entertaining episode next week.

I agree, they were  no way invited to MSW, they found a venue and did a pop up show. All the people there were probably given a drink coupon to watch or something complimentary. It looked like a pool at any Travelodge off the freeway. Sorry, Florian should stick to print modeling as his posture is atrocious and at times I think Georgi can be somewhat attractive in the face, that look and his lumbering down the runway, he looked bad. Then we have the bolted on twins doing their stupid lip syncing which was so cringe worthy.

I thought it was funny that their runway show was announced as the "kick off" to a program (which presumably included other designers that we never saw any evidence of). Wouldn't it be much more prestigious to be the "grand finale"?

I've been to many tapings of TV shows and they always have a warmup guy who stands off camera and whips the audience into a frenzy. Beforehand, we even have to practice clapping and making noise is encouraged. I'll bet there was something similar going on here!

These guys were models? I know for a fact Georgi was because I have seen photo's of him doing NYC runway's. He wasn't so bulked up then and had shorter hair. He knows how to walk a runway. This was pathetic. Is doing steroids cause he is huge now like borderline Hulk. 

Florian was pasty white and his posture was awful. He also needs to gain a few pounds and change the shit eating look on his face. 

I agree with a poster that said the daughters while very pretty do not have model bodies. Normal, healthy bodies but model thin and fit, No.

Georgi on the runway was a dead ringer for a (just slightly) younger Ozzy Osborne.

A couple years ago the daughters appeared to have common sense.  Now they are as vapid as their mom and aunt.  Aniko wants to be a pageant queen.  Aspen (the name of our Siberian Husky years ago) wants to be a model.  Ugh.

I hope the bad news from papa is that his next house is much smaller and there is no room for middle-aged parasites who should be able to support themselves.

During a Stacey/Florian talking head Florian did mention that someone he knows offered him a job and Stacey couldn't tell him he wasn't going to work with his friend fast enough.  I do not understand why these reality people are allergic to a 9 to 5 job with benefits.

Darcey has clearly only been here for Darcey, she only wants to hear about how great she is and what a fantastic mother she is and the mens(lol) should only bow before her, fuck them if they have an issue, it is all about her.

Aspen and Aniko are as stable as they are probably from having a stable life with Mike. Not just financially - at this point he seems pretty emotionally stable, which Darcey isn't.

Darcey and Stacey seem to have never learned to endure feelings of unhappiness (which we all have - it's part of life). Rather than just get through those feelings, they do something to their outsides. 

They think their lives have to be larger-than-life - and how many people actually get that?

That's my amateur I'm-not-a-therapist take.

Did Daddy Silva have a chat with Stacey about marrying Florian? Surely he would point out that her getting married was not a good idea. Florian is most likely using her and will take off once he gets the Green Card. Stay for a bit but his eye would be on his prize.  Both the daughters are in their mid to late 40s and can marry anyone they want. He can tell them that he is not paying for the twin wedding. Who cares if it doesn’t last?

On next season's "Darcey & Stacey" (if there is one), it would be really interesting if they had to live on what they actually earn vs. their dad's money. A wake-up call of sorts.

There's much less time and energy for manufactured drama when you've been working all day.

So, Papa Mike…I’m glad he read them the riot act. Darcey did not time it right to bring up the “twin wedding” (which I assume she expected Daddy to pay for as usual). But I didn’t like Mike cursing his daughter out and dropping the f-bomb every sentence, in front of his grandchildren, his other daughter, their mother, and their SOs. Keepin' It Klassy./s  Doesn't matter how much you forked over for a bishop wedding in St. Patrick's. Took guts for someone to speak up, which Florian did. 

A better response from Mike would have been, “Wow…gee, I’m surprised. You know, this is a hard day. Darcey, let’s you and I talk  next week.” And defer all further talk. Then, in private, "if you expect me to contribute $ and be there in support, I want you two engaged for 1 more year, both of you living on what you make.” 

Mike looked a lot older and not that healthy. I bet he signed to sponsor those two guys for 10 years each. The guys may want trades like massage therapy and furniture making, but that's not "glamorous enough." I’d like to see Mike move to an age 55+ community, and those daughters figure out how to make it on their own. They’re way beyond the age most adults take responsibility.

It says everything about D& S that in spite of the fact that both the men have possible jobs  that they could do ( furniture building & massage therapy), they are more interested in having models as partners. Frankly, neither man could walk the runway decently & they are a bit long in the tooth to start a career in print modeling. These women are so empty and shallow, why do either of them need a big, splashy, over the top second wedding? How about using the money to pay for your childrens’ education? I don’t think their father did them any favors by subsidizing all of their craziness. And now those young girls are headed down the same path.

So when we first were introduced to the Bratz twins, weren't they living in a condo which I only can assume was another of daddy Silva's properties? They must have moved to the big house when he was over in China. All of their swimsuits are probably from Aliexpress ( as many have mentioned on this thread) and then their seamstress adds their label and maybe some other jewels or whatever. It is really sad that these two 46 year old women still rely on their father for everything, including raising Darceys two daughters. Rather than jetting off to Turkey and dropping thousands of dollars, why not invest in their own home or college fund for their kids. The more I watch, the more disgusted I am of these two

The reason Stacey and Florian married already is because he needed to stay in the country, his 90 days was expiring. It was a necessity at the time. So now she thinks she deserves the big wedding. The logic of these twins is non-existant.

If Florian does get a job with his cousin that is an excellent trade.  My friend started at the bottom, nailing legs on chairs etc. After years of learning from the owner he is now one of their top door makers…as in custom front doors. There is a real market for it and he makes a very nice salary.  Not everyone can be a business owner or Harvard grad and that is okay. I think this is more likely the truth and he really doesn’t care too much about modelling and that it is just a hobby or something that Stacey wants him to do.

I don't get why TLC has Tom's sister on Pillow Talk. Tom is somewhat charming and funny. His sister is just a fat loser who thinks she's hot shit because she can salsa dance. She is really mean, super critical,  and jealous of everything.

You would think main cast members would be contractually obligated.  Maybe because this is the first D&S tell-all it wasn’t in the contract.  But Brittany (Yazan) skipped it (although she did appear by phone) so who knows?

In theory, Georgi SHOULD be good looking, but he just ISN'T.  Mostly in his talking heads is when his true surface ugly is apparent.  There's just something very off about his face.  And does anyone else notice that he has pointed ears like an elf.  For some reason that's almost all I can focus on when he's talking in his talking heads.

Only a moron would go to the beach or inconsiderately ride on a boat in the type of shoes Darcey was wearing.  I was surprised that the boat captains permitted her to do so, and risk her messing up the wood on deck.

It boggles my mind HTF they manage to have such ass-kissing, sycophantic friends like blue hair and the two chicks in Connecticut.  Clearly they're all desperate to appear on TV, and do anything to do so, even being Darcey and Stacey's brown-nosers.

It's funny AF to me that both Darcey and Georgi think that one session with a therapist means they're both completely cured.  I love that Father Silva set them straight on that.
