I'm unconvinced that flat-affect Ashley really misses her kids at all.

OK. She dumps the kids to get rid of the stress. Let’s say she loses her weight, she gets her surgery, what happens when she takes her kids back? Isn’t that going to cause her stress?  What a piece of work she is. Even Dr. Now is telling her her kids should be with her.  He is more concerned about her kids than she is.

She said she dumped her first child on her mom as a baby because she felt like she was missing out 🙄. She’s probably thinking she’s some child free 19 yo again. Meanwhile, what happened to her mother’s health that she was oh-so-stressed about.

I don't disagree. I think Dr. Now doesn't want to let her evade responsibilities claiming it's necessary for weight loss, because it's all stuff she's going to have to deal with at some point.

Sad to say, she probably got pregnant because she thought it would make the baby daddy stay with her. She has no ability to judge male attention intentions.  This is scary when it concerns kids. She is likely to bring someone into the house who will do the same thing to them that was done to her.

@Wanda I hope things go okay and someday they will be able to be semi-independant. I worry about the stress I cause my parents when things were bad and I couldnt speak or really function on my own and turned into a lizard a lot. Though I am at least able to live on my own again. Im sure he appreciates what you do even if he cant articulate it.

A lot of these folks ARE like luggage.  The families ought to rent a u-haul trailer and spare everyone the trying-to-slam-the-passenger-door-shut scenes, the "Ow, my Legs! bitching and close ups of the pounticipant trying to squirt mayo onto their burger(s) while whining that  they've got to find a motel because they are in so much Pain.

I can only imagine the smells in these vehicles.  I hope for the crew's sake that the onboard cameras are remote.

Hi there!  I just joined after driving all the way back from Boston... better late than never!  I will jump in now, and then catch up later.   She seems to be working out - must not be a sad sack like we had for the last couple weeks!

Eating habit is meatless today, because Lent.  Salad, buckwheat and falafel for lunch, pesto pasta and salad for dinner - though I will have a piece of cheese, too.
