It all boils down to Sandoval being pissed off because Stassi went to Schwartz and Lisa and not him. Schwartz probably told her he would fill Sandoval in on the event (which he did) so Stassi thought everything was ok. The only thing Stassi did wrong was scream at Sandoval in public. That was not cool. Ask the douche to step outside then give him hell. 

 

Indeed.  It's news to me that Stassi apparently needed to call a partners' meeting to get the blessing for a book signing event.

On a different note, bridesmaid bathing suits? FFS. I don't want to begrudge anyone spending a ton of money and acting goofy just for kicks, but I feel like Brittany went to the "These Chicks Will Buy Anything Bridal Store" and got 10 of everything. 

Also, I thought Kristen looked really cute in her tacky wedding dress. Stassi was right about Sheana—her wedding outfit looked like it could have come from her closet.

If Sandoval felt only he could do the event why didn’t he send a group text to Max, Schwartz and Stassi to hash out the details? I also can’t get over how bent out of shape he is that Stassi yelled at him in public given all the antics that have aired over the years. The only reason he even showed up was because he was hoping it would be a chaotic mess and even in the aftermath can’t acknowledge that Schwartz was capable of handling it and wasn’t needed. I would be pissed if I were Schwartz, I mean I know he is an idiot but Sandoval is supposedly his best friend and the contempt he shows for him is ridiculous.

In real life, Stassi screaming at Sandoval would be bad/rude on her part, it was a Stassi book signing.  I think all of the people there were hoping something like this would happen (I mean, I know I would).  (Also not a defense of Sandoval, he was completely in the wrong).

So...this may be expecting too much but could Schwartz really bartend?  Not in the panic attack way (and why doesn't Sandoval think Schwartz might have moved past that?) but in the alcohol server way.  In my state, you have to have a card and have taken a course to serve alcohol.

Ariana, your boyfriend is doing the same thing with his lives - one life he has with you, someone who never wants to get married and have kids; and another where he has a fantasy life where he marries you and you guys have kids together.  I LITERALLY don't know why those two are together.  I'm really sick of hearing about how much Tom wants to get married and have kids and how against marriage Ariana is. 

 

Obviously they're together because they're both getting something out of it - just like Brittany is, by marrying a revolting sociopath.  She is NOT a sweet Southern girl.

The whole situation screams of Ariana/Sandoval jealousy.  They are the biggest bitter bettys whenever someone else from the cast has any success or screentime. 

I don't see either of them on a book tour or on the bestseller list. From my cursory investigation, Fancy AF Cocktails was released in December, Tom & Ariana have a co-author, Danny Pellegrino .  It's #1,023 on the Amazon sales charts.  While Next Level Basic was released in April with Stassi the sole author.  It's #138 on the Amazon charts and is sold out in hardcover with a paperback release scheduled for April 2020.  From social media, it seems like Stassi is also working on book #2 and has tour dates across the country for her live show.

To be fair, a book about someone having sex and snorting their crushed Adderall is always going to sell better than an instruction manual on how to make drinks with booze and equipment you can't afford and would never own. 

I haven't actually read either of the books because I don't hate myself that much.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking about Stassi's book vs. Ariana's book.  Ariana's one is going to be filled with various cocktail recipes and I'm sure she tried to put in 'smart-sounding stuff' in there, but hardly interesting, especially compared to what Stassi's book is about.

 

I want to scream at them whenever I hear them say "I's" instead of MY.  WTF is I's???

For my girlfriend's bachelorette party, we got her a neon pink veil and a sash with "Bride to Be" on it and when we were walking to the restaurant, someone yelled out "DON'T DO IT!!!" and we all laughed.  She certainly didn't take it personally because there was no reason to get upset about it.  Also, because she was marrying a nice guy.

 

Kristen doesn't have Carter to have drama shit with, so she creates drama by upsetting Brittany. 

 

Just because you own 5% of a business, doesn't make you a manager.  It barely makes you the owner.  That takes time and training.  Obviously there are shitty managers, but neither Toms have any actual management skills.  Surprised that Lisa hasn't forced them to take some mandatory management classes. 

 

It was obvious, but a proper manager, when told that they are the ones who will have to do the 'little people's job', will yes, grumble, but they'll do it, because it's part of the job.  When there's nobody to do a certain task YOU have to do it.  My husband has been the head of a company for over 20 years and when he's short-staffed or something unexpected happens, HE picks up all the slack, because It's Part Of The Job.  He has certainly never EVER yelled or rage-texted any of his employees!!!

Why would Lisa bother doing that?  I don't think that Sandoval manages anything and I think LvP doesn't want him or Schwartz to manage anything.

I think the only thing Sanoval actually does outside of the show is get paid to go to bars and restaurants and use social media to coax VpR Rules fans to be patrons for his "appearance".

Lisa was just savvy enough to convince the Toms to pay for the privilege of promoting her bar instead of having to pay them.  Its no surprise that she did this around the time the cast was getting obviously unwilling to even pretend to work SUR during filming.  I suspect that Sandoval organizes and promotes his own parties/appearances at TomTom and attend stuff LvP wants them too for filming or real parties with paying clients (which I doubt she leaves in Sandoval's hands to organize) and that is it.

Its kind of telling that LvP didn't say the two obvious things to Sandoval that he needed to hear if any of this was real.

1) you are a part owner, you can't lose your cool like that (which she only said in the TH) and

2) if you can't do #1, then you never call the client even if they are a "friend", you call Max or Ken/Lisa or whoever 

Nope, she said to work it out with Sandoval and Stassi because she can't tell him not to create drama on her TV show.

BINGO! I try to remember that this is reality TV so...not really reality so much as ratings-driven and overly-produced. Maybe they were all “macting” lol. Otherwise it doesn’t make a lot of sense to a logical mind why Sandoval freaks the F out. 
 

But also...I kind of think he has just never liked Stassi EVER and the thought of serving her in any capacity (even as an “owner” or whatever) just really got to his ego. Remember when he scoffed at getting behind the bar in case the event was understaffed? If you are the owner of something, I’d think you push your sleeves up and get shit done because it ultimately falls on you. I think the thought of serving Stassi a Pinot Grigio is beyond him. But then again, give it to her, she has hustled herself into legitimate commercial success and he, well...owns 5% of a bar. I think he’s a bit jelly.

But that bar code wouldn't work if the store didn't actually have the book in its inventory. So, you are correct in thinking someone couldn't buy the book if Stassi had just pulled a copy or two out of her bag and plunked it down on a display in a store that didn't have it in its system already.

Brittney's "tacky" wedding dress looked like a slip she pulled out from a wedding dress and not a dress at all.  I think within the criteria of what they were trying to do, Lala's dress was the best.  

Speaking of....Lala's lips/face were truly horrifying in the boat conversation with Kristen.  OMG.  Stop with the injections.  That paired with her horrible make-up choices has ruined a once pretty girl.  

With all the sweet memories/flashbacks of Jax's time living in Miami, all I could think of was wasn't that where we have confirmed he was basically a gay escort?  And then became the sugar baby of a wealthy older dude?  The one they resurrected a few seasons ago and who said he would always love Jax.  Oh Brittney, glad you think it's so cute to hear stories about young, naive little Jason.  That girl has got some rough life waiting just ahead of her.  But she knows what she's signed up for so no pity here.

I think it's really how Stassi says it is... Sandoval has never really liked her and then she didn't ask/talk to him directly about the event so he's doubly bitter at her. Kudos to her for saying "well now I know to go to you next time... " to appease him.

Everything that comes out of it is excruciatingly vapid and her voice makes my ears bleed. I find her so awful that I would actually prefer to watch the British wanker instead of her.

Agreed on all of this. I can't stand Scheana at ALL. I never liked her but she is just so desperate the past couple seasons and it's just sad to watch (sad as in pathetic). Could someone out there who knows business law please tell me; is owning 5% actually an owner in the way Tom keeps throwing it around (lord and master who shall be consulted on all things) or is it closer to an investor (like I own Apple stock. Nobody asked me shit about getting rid of the headphone port in the iPhone. Bastards! I’m an owner!)? I just need them to shut up already. They are so smug in their 5% of the great power of controlling TomTom. Blaming Schwartz in public was so low of Ariana. You work that kind of shit out behind closed doors, not in public. 

The best moment of the night for me was everybody trying to keep a straight face while Brittany cried about no one celebrating their love. I mean she was beyond reasoning with and the love of her life is JAX! What can you even say to a drunk fool who’s going to marry Jax?

Also Lala’s “Oh, you’re mad at her tits.” That was pretty good.

It doesn’t matter whose customers they were. Stassi shouldn’t have yelled at him in front of them, at least under normal circumstances. It’s just hard to be outraged by her behavior when his was, IMO, so much worse. It wasn’t just rage texting her, which would be wrong no matter what, but the anger itself was wrong. She was not at fault in that situation so getting angry with her was wrong. She got approval from the majority partner and had discussed details with Schwartz. If there was a staffing issue that was on Lisa and Schwartz, and his anger should have been directed towards them if they agreed to the event five days before without confirming there was staff available or it was on the bartenders who bailed last minute if there had been more time to plan. That said, Stassi and Beau would look better if they admitted (and thought) Stassi was wrong to yell at Sandoval, but especially in front of those patrons no matter whose patrons they were.

LaLa must on something to stay up til 4am with everyone drinking and she’s not. I can barely stay up til midnight if I’m not drinking. 

Brittany crying about that sign was so lame. Obviously she’s still really insecure about her relationship with Jax. He was way into that strip club too. He was on ig claiming editing made him look bad but editing can’t make up scenes lol. He was also lying his ass off to Brittany the next morning about the strip club. They had to be coked up at the strip club too. Jax definitely was.

Sandoval thinks way too high of himself. He owns 5% of TomTom. Calm the fuck down lol. He just thinks everything should go thru him cause he’s a self important douche. I wish he would fuck off lol.

Why doesn’t Kristen just stay with Carter. If she is ok with him being a mooch I don’t get why they are breaking up. They still have sex and say I love you I don’t get why they are even breaking up lol. That would annoy me too.

All the bachelorette parties I’ve been too were one night. Why does it need to be such an epic event lol calm down.

I want to preface this by saying I don’t know business law, but my feeling is he is an investor and a glorified mascot. Does anyone else remember on RHOBH when Camille insisted Lisa didn’t own SUR because she didn’t own ALL of Sur? And Lisa pointed out that she owned more than 50 percent of SUR so she was the owner. Camille was being absurd then, but I would have loved to see her shade smug Ariana this episode.

ETA: FozzyBear, can you please convey to your fellow owners that I am in complete agreement about the headphone jack? I use Bluetooth headphones now, but they really drain my battery. If you could rage text Tim Cook about this, I would appreciate it.

It doesn’t matter whose customers they were. Stassi shouldn’t have yelled at him in front of them, at least under normal circumstances. It’s just hard to be outraged by her behavior when his was, IMO, so much worse. It wasn’t just rage texting her, which would be wrong no matter what, but the anger itself was wrong. She was not at fault in that situation so getting angry with her was wrong. She got approval from the majority partner and had discussed details with Schwartz. If there was a staffing issue that was on Lisa and Schwartz, and his anger should have been directed towards them if they agreed to the event five days before without confirming there was staff available or it was on the bartenders who bailed last minute if there had been more time to plan. That said, Stassi and Beau would look better if they admitted (and thought) Stassi was wrong to yell at Sandoval, but especially in front of those patrons no matter whose patrons they were. 

I actually do agree with this. I think Sandoval takes most of the blame for sending that text in the first place and for then coming to the event with the intention of picking a fight. But Stassi should have just ignored him or even angrily told him they will talk about this later. None of these knuckleheads know how to deescalate a situation. Of course if they did they probably wouldn’t be on the show...

However, I want to know what Stassi and Beau found out between the incident and Miami to make them so calm. Both seemed somewhat over it and willing to say their piece and walk away. Even with Ariana, Stassi seemed sort of willing to say what she wanted and remain somewhat calm. It’s very unlike her not to want drag this shit out. Had more time passed then appears from the editing? Had Stassi been assured by production she would get the good edit on this? Had there already been a post incident talk that we didn’t see?

He’s no longer featured in the opening credits, so he’s definitely not a full-time castmember. Assuming he’s demoted to “friend of” which just tickles me that his girlfriend begged for a job at SUR to become a castmember and they were both “fired.” I don’t know whether he’s one of the 238 SURvers squeezed in the still shot at the end of the opening. There’s far too many people to scan in that crowd!

The best moment of the night for me was everybody trying to keep a straight face while Brittany cried about no one celebrating their love. I mean she was beyond reasoning with and the love of her life is JAX! What can you even say to a drunk fool who’s going to marry Jax?

Also Lala’s “Oh, you’re mad at her tits.” That was pretty good.

Maybe it’s more like if you owned a few shares of Apple stock and you were the night manager of the Apple Genius Bar in your local shopping mall.

This episode was marginally more entertaining than the last, probably because we had limited time with the JV crew.  I hope they are done dragging out this Stassi/Sandoval conflict.  He is so clearly in the wrong, and the whole thing feels so clearly put on, it holds no interest. 

While Stassi, Katie and Lala are not great, I completely get their exasperation with Kristen.  I too have had that friend who will perpetually cry on your shoulder about how awful her boyfriend is, describing all the different ways he hurt her, and then expect you to be all fine and dandy with him when she brings him around during the break-up/make-up cycle. Either she is happy with the situation with Carter and should shut up about it, or she should end it.  

Funny that Jax amongst everyone seems to have Carter's number....

Right?  Silly me, I thought she was doing this completely sober until everyone on here questioned it!  I think there’s a difference between quitting alcohol and getting sober.

When people are drying out from alcohol, some of them just take prescribed Adderall and nibble on pot brownies, and it gives off a high that is much more subtle than drunkenness, and it keeps you up like a mofo, so she’s probably using a combo of that.  A lot of these Hollywood types go in for painkillers too.  Tons of people are microdosing on mushrooms just to get through an average workday, so....I’d need to see a blood, hair and urine test (combined!) to believe Lala is just drinking a lot of Starbucks of something.

I will see myself out now, but I thought Lala’s pink gel eyeliner was so cool and cutting edge on the boat.  The bitch has blown out her face to high heaven for some unknown, ungodly reason, but damn if I’m not a sucker for avant-garde makeup, and a total whore for the color pink.

I don't think that is the case, the rest of the girls are all friends, Brit and Katie, Katie and Lala, Stassi and Lala, Brit and Kristen, all of them with Scheana.  I think Stassi is beyond wanting to isolate Katie, I think they are both happy in their relationships and are exhausted by Kristen's inability to detach herself from any of her relationships.  

 

If you look over the seasons, Kristen can't take any criticism, especially when it comes to her toxic relationships.  Once Katie and Stassi point out the obvious, have listened and have been there for her, but have reached their limit with Kristen being messy, Kristen goes into this "I'm going to prove them wrong" stage and puts on a show for everyone and makes it look like everything is perfect again and that Stassi and Katie are wrong about her and Carter/Tom or whomever. 

 

Literally the morning after she found out Tom was cheating on her, was going to break up with him then and there, the next morning Stassi and Katie found them in bed together and both were like WTF??? And then Kristen went on her campaign of her and Tom being closer than ever again. 

Same thing with Carter at the relationship counselling night with Beau's mom.  The moment Katie and Stassi had a conversation with Carter about how he was treating her, Kristen went on the defensive to prove they were perfect and in love and that Stassi and Katie were wrong about them.  

 

In this episode, Kristen clearly just wants attention because the first thing she did was tell Arianna that her and Carter had sex that morning, but they are "broken up" 

I'd walk away after years of the bullshit.  I get why Katie and Stassi feel lied to.  I get why they are tired of being painted as the unsupportive friends  and villains and being told that "Their love doesn't work for her"...  at some point you walk away...  it's emotional fuckwittage from your friend and that shit isn't cool.  

I don't recall any point in time with Stassi or Katie when they were having relationship issues that they aimed to villainize their friend when they voiced their concerns or talked about how things were bad.  Kristen at Katie's bachelorette tried to fix things by making Tom confront what happened in Vegas with the girl he made out with or slept with?  But then to throw it in her fact that night and say years of Tom cheating on her after they had worked through things, gotten married and are moving forward and appear to be in a really good place?  That's dick move.  Friends don't do that.
