this BLQ/Sonny set is gorgeous. where is it?

It's the solarium.  the set was introduced around Christmas time.  BLQ and Chase were praticing a song in there and then they got the call that Willow was being taken to the hospital.

Anyone else notice today that Sofia Mattson looked like she might have a baby belly going on.  can't find anything online saying she's pregnant but she kept the first one under wraps for awhile.  Here's hoping that if she is, they don't make her has sex with the grossness that is the lying grifter hobo vagrant so they can play out the pregnancy onscreen.  Just keep her in those big blazers and behind plants please.

To be fair Taggert has raised Trina her whole life, so it’s normal that she would be his first concern.  He’s been her dad her entire life.  Curtis has never been a father, so I think it’s realistic that he’s reeling from this news and kind of in his own feelings right now.

I love how Nina drags Drew at every opportunity.  Calling him out on forgiving Carly a nanosecond after she not only withheld the truth, but actively tried to sabotage him from find out the truth.  He deserves it.  And Nina should feel thankful she doesn’t even know the half of it.

Umm Joss hellooo….you are very aware that your boyfriend is up to shenanigans he’s not even trying to hide that from you so you don’t get to be all surprised and mad about it.  Just stop.

I’m glad Sasha got to say her piece to Heather but good god, she was totally outmatched.  AM was running circles around the Sasha actress (I’m sorry I don’t know her name).

Oh I didn't say that. I agree with the quote but it wasn't my quote, I think I was quote tweeting it.

The only thing interesting out of today's episode was that the Sasha actress was rocking what looked like a baby bump and the writers did not write it in. They never came across a real life pregnancy they didn't decide to add to the show, so I guess that's good?

Otherwise, I don't know how we go from 4-5 wonderful soap days to the dreck that was today. Honorable mention to Sasha/Heather, but please, light the rest on fire.

The dolts still haven't told Wiley that Willow is sick. You have to have the hard conversation, you dopes.

Especially considering that they’ve resigned themselves to Willow dying. We know she isn’t but damn, they were probably going to end up traumatizing the damn kid by withholding this.

Joss is surprised that her mobster boyfriend is acting like a mobster. maybe you should have thought about that before you spread your legs open for him, dipstick. Also lmao. "My mom did a lot of pretending." yeh. no she didn't, you idiot.

deep breath.. SHUT. UP. DREWFUS.
like again. Nina didn't help matters in certain aspects. but let's not act that Willow was acting like this poor innocent little lamb and Nina was just poking the bear. Willow didn't do much to help their relationship either and had they BOTH KNOWN they BOTH would have acted differently

(and people on reddit/twitter keep going well Nina could have acted nicer, why does knowing change stuff, and i mean, it just DOES. you have a lot more tolerance for loved ones - even brand spanking new ones, than you have vs. people you aren't connected with.  Honestly, i know y'all dont like the slaps, but thats where i kinda wish Nina gave him a juicy open palm right there.

Drew's COME ON YOU SUED FOR CUSTODY, IT'S THE WAY YOU DID IT, like... i'm sorry? begging those two morons for months to spend one day a month with the kid, promising to do supervised visits or whatever they wanted, even contemplated giving up her rights when Willow asked and only didn't because Col Tad said not to, and only sued after WILLOW said "there is no path to Wiley because you slept with Sonny and didn't tell me." (she didn't say the bolded part, but we know). JUST SHUT. UP. Get him, Nina!

I have to say this is stupid. I don't have kids personally, but they have books for little kids about death/dying/illness. little kids have pets and they die and they get heartbroken and sad and you explain it. you dont even need to go into the whole. "I'm gonna die!!!" today but just. "mommy is really really sick, and she might not get better." let him digest the "sick" part and then explain dying. hes like what now? 5? 6?

and again. i know im supposed to be sorry for Willow. big fat nopes

and once again, Sonny is the voice of wisdom and I 100 percent agree with him. I feel dirty. lol

Sasha is definitely pregnant.

I didn't see (and really wasn't looking) for a baby belly, but she was definitely glowing.

I think none of these people know how to be around others when people are dying what with:

  • not talking to your kids about something that is happening in weeks
  • getting petty and throwing out threats
  • ignoring sound advice five seconds later

And that is as much as I am going to discuss the clusterfuck that is Drew, Nina, Sonny, Carly, Michael and Willow.

Onto other things, Wiley needs to be tested for glasses. Amelia is huge (but adorably cute) and apparently it is catching because tomorrow Esme is holding her own 6 month child that tripled in size overnight

Would Liesl know by now if she is maybe a match?

I guess Bennett wasn't around when Sasha was arrested or Brando was killed.

Dex is not made for covert ops if Joss finds out 89% of his plan to take down Sonny so easily.

i am assuming it's the 15th.
I think Liesl got tested on the 13th (early 14th) I cant remember if all of this happened the day of the Wedding. so maybe she finds out next week (which will still be only 1-2 days after she got tested?)

If it was a girl, she would have named the child after Laura.

I thought she was going to say she's naming the baby Colin, after (Grandma) Laura and (Great Uncle) Kevin. That could continue family tradition, since Nikolas claimed and re-named his first-born son Spencer, after Laura and his siblings. Also....good karma for the baby to turn out sane!

Not much to say about today's episode. Willow and Carly's dialogue was an anti-abortion extremist advocate's dream (reminds me of a former friend), so I just had to turn it off.  I can't believe I actually enjoyed watching Sonny yell at someone.  Sonny yelling at Michael was oddly satisfying.

I’ve been saying since the beginning of this storyline that it comes off like pro-life propaganda and how especially tone deaf it is given current events. There’s SLs that are bad on the surface and I might cringe or snark at them but I have visceral hate for this one in a way that I haven’t felt before

The best part of today is when Michael told Wiley that Baby Amelia will be sitting up and crawling in no time. Yes probably next week since the newborn is already lifting her head.

I didn't notice Sasha's bump but I thought she looked bigger overall. Still beautiful!! Meanwhile Sam needs to lay off the Ozempic.

Sam and Dante SOOOO boring.

I did have to laugh at Joss making the comment about being in bed and not having couch sex.  There is always too much couch sex on GH.

The solarium was beautiful.

The writing for Nina is so tedious.

Joss does spend a lot of time lounging around with Dex or having sex with him for someone who’s supposedly dealing with so much. Lack of time was only an issue when it came to dropping by Britt’s memorial. Oh well, I guess it’s impressive that all of that stress and grief apparently hasn’t affected sex drive

I only caught the last five minutes of the show, but I saw that.  I was like, “is she pregnant again?  Do not write that in!”

This show just had two baby stories back to back.  It does not need another one.

I will say it annoys me, and I do believe in pro-life for the most part. but this is entirely stupid. I got Willow's point where she first found out because the story made it seem that she was 2-3 weeks or so away from being in her second trimester and a quick google showed that once you are in your 2nd trimester you could have treatment and chances are you are fine. Great. and then they could (if they wanted)  discussions etc for both sides of the discussion.

I don't think they should have shied away from it because of current events - mostly because  - this is what soaps used to do in its heyday. it just sucks that they are doing it - but they are doing it SO SLOPPILY).  - like i mean remember when i came back and Willow was dying it was "Well didn't she have treatment after the 2nd trimester?" and everone was like just the one.  So it just seems that she chose not to have treatment at all which was inanely dumb.

to me even though Willow kept sprouting "In my training." it didn't seem like she was doing it "to protect the baby." it felt more of a I dont trust medicine/doctors etc. (which is also a very valid storyline for someone who was raised off the grid).

and i feel this is where it severely hurt Willow having no friends pretty much and everyone up her butt in her decision because there should be people mad at her choices.have it be some stranger in chemo with her or something. Like her decisions led her to have stage 4 cancer,  and everyone is all " 's'okay" willow and no one is rightly being mad at her dumb choices.

I don’t get Dex and his story. How are you able to hire a private security company to hire to go undercover for the mob? Why would they agree to do a suicide mission and how would it protect the person who was hired from criminal charges when you get to the end and try to expose Sonny? He’s already committed several crimes and is probably soon to be an accessory to several more. Like was Michael assuming that the authorities would grant Dex immunity so it’s cool and no one would retaliate against him?

Does she ever go to school? Does Trina, for that matter?  If they're living in a dorm, don't they have to be going to class, or lose their right to have a dorm room?

there has to be something more
Had Dex flat out said "I'm FBI." it would have made SO MUCH MORE SENSE (then i would have screamed. ITS DANTE 2.0! BUT MORE STUPID).

if he gets caught, eing in a security firm isn't going to save his but. and I'm petty sure if he pushes Sonny to do something illegal, that's... oh whats the word, it starts with an E? ...entrapment? i think?  Baby Jason is stupid and all this is going to do is him having a bullet to the chest and there will be noOlivia screaming "SONNY, YOU SHOT YOUR OWN SON!"

I was multitasking today and missed most of the show, but I liked Sasha giving it to Heather. SM was quite good.

Not sure why Heather said she doesn’t know a Brando - didn’t admit she was the hooker? So she doesn’t check out her victims after killing them or are we going back to more than one hooker? Time will tell, I guess.

Yes it was and it needs to stop. This whole storyline from start to finish has been abysmal. Fucking torture porn. And Saint-Willow will be rewarded with her life at the end of this.

I don't see the purpose of Amelia other than to push this type of storyline since they didn't even write her stuff as being life-saving for Willow.

I thought Sofia Matheson was quite good today.
I really liked Sam and Cody’s chat. I think in general that it’s the writing for Cody that stinks. Today you could see more of who he actually is in the dialogue. I. Wonder if he is going to tell Mac that he won/ lost the WTD  contest.
some of Willow’s conversation with SWWNBN hit a chord with me. She mentions how much she will miss her family. My brother said that to me during his leukaemia battle. His treatments had all failed and he was considered too old for bone marrow ( 69) even though we are a gigantic family. The rest was just bs.
Michael is a tool, Jex is boring and Drewfus needs to shut up.

Do the PCPD just let anybody in to see a prisoner if they claim to be their attorney?

Well, no one seemed to notice that she bore an amazing resemblance to the woman who was the face of an ad campaign for a major brand, or the woman who was arrested for smashing the windshield of a reporter's car, or the woman who had an emotional meltdown on tv . . .  so . . . sure . . . she had to be a lawyer.

Either that, or the PCPD's daily Berate a Prisoner hours have been moved from the cells to the interrogation rooms for the comfort of the visitors.

I haven’t watched today yet so maybe this is clearly wrong, but is it possible Heather is still trying to cover for Esme, who she thinks was the Hook? The story ended so anticlimactically. It was terrible to begin with so I don’t mind it being over but I also wouldn’t mind a few more people being killed.

Dex and Joss: "I don't feel casual about you."  "I'm not casual about you either."  LOL, is this what passes for romantic with kids these days?

Sasha may feel better now but when Heather gets a real lawyer, he/she could let a lot thrown out letting the judge know that the PCPD allowed a civilian in to harass and lie to their prisoner.

It was part of her faking insanity -- that she loses hours and even days so she didn't remember hooking Brando or know that she did.

Technically, she didn't lie.  Sasha never said she was Heather's lawyer to Heather. The cop said it to Heather, who then went on talking and pretend defending herself.

I thought Sasha was pretty reigned in, seeing as she was talking to her husband's murderer.

My record for GH-related recollection is not the best lately, but as I remember it was Valentine who told Sonny he'd been approached by this company, and that there really was no way of saying no to them. Dex actually seemed alarmed by the development when he told Michael about it -- and mentioned he had experience with them -- but Michael thought it was a lucky break because it would get Sonny in so much trouble.

Fair is fair.  I complained the other day about how anticlimactic the end of the Ryan et.al. story had been.  But it turned out that the actual denouement—and the best acting— was yet to follow.  Kudos to all of the vets who told the Ryan story over a period of decades. I still remember how charming Ryan the pediatrician was, and how Felicia had come to depend on him, only to have to fear for her life.  It was frightening to the viewer to have this affable, respected character suddenly become the embodiment of evil. JL was excellent then, in the time since, and especially this week.  Looking forward to Kevin working through his residual feelings with Laura.  KW and JY were spot on, and it was entirely fitting for it to be Mac who killed Ryan.  The writers did a good job of honoring the show’s history with this one.  Also loved Laura’s recognizing how much Esme needed a trusted adult in the moment, and GF’s face radiating the joy of witnessing a healthy birth.  There are some promising performances coming from the younger set, but I think the show is wise to continue to use its vets in integral storylines.

I'd be all for Kevin and Laura being a modern-day Nick and Nora Charles, sipping Whiskey and solving murders. They had that kind of mature chemistry in those scenes, connecting the dots while Jordan was absolutely useless.

I think I hated everyone on todays episode except Sonny (how the heck did that happen) and Sasha and the hot detective. I love how often Sonny tells Michael to stop being such a whiny brat these days.

So Joss was so horrified and disgusted by Nina keeping Sonny from his small children for a few months but she’s gonna be fine keeping him away from them the rest of their lives? She’s such a hypocrite. Dex’s story has to be a cover - he’s way too invested to just be a mercenary.

Drew is now in full on Ryan Lavery self-righteous mode. I had forgotten how he used to talk down to Kendall and act like he was better than her. He has zero compassion for Nina. Hate him and all the Carlys.

Michael tells Sonny that he brought Willow home from the hospital and that she is dying, and Sonny gets mad at Michael who tells him that Willow doesn't want have to deal with Nina.

Why is Sonny getting angrier at Michael on Nina's behalf when Michael is the one is the one facing losing the woman he loves and raising his young children alone?

There is a time and place and that was not it.

I don't get it. Sonny has been my favorite character on GH since MB first started on the show, and I don't understand his anger or his threats to Michael when he knows that Willow is dying. He was just telling Brook Lynn about how he might have time to work things with Michael but Nina won't. Then not ten minutes after talking with Michael he storms out and basically warns Michael about what may happen. What can be worse for Michael than him losing Willow and raising the kids by himself?

Link to comment

I usually love Michael being put in his place by anyone on the show, especially Sonny.  But today, Sonny took a major "L" with his lack of rational.  The man brings his dying wife home, to be surrounded by her family, and all Sonny can do is put Nina's needs first.

And when Michael tells him no, he blows up and calls it quits.  Really a weak, lazily written scene in my opinion.

Leave it to Sam to once again prove that she can give two shits about her kids.  Just back from overseas, the first thing to do is take a shower and screw Dante.  Let the kids just rot at the Quartermaine's forever Sam!!!

Eh. The majority of Michael's girlfriends have died, he'll find another willing to love him and raise his kids for him soon enough. He's too much of a narcissist to actually grieve for long.

ETA: Though I don't think for a second Willow's actually going to die.

Today was a grim reminder that there's other characters in this show. Did we really need scenes of Sam and the hayloft hobo recounting his entire backstory? Sasha's scenes with Heather were okay but she's out of her element with Heather. It reminded me of the Simpsons episode of Hamlet where Lisa's all, "No one out-crazies Ophelia!".

You can tell Drew has been hanging out with Carly too much since he's wearing smug self-righteousness like a second skin.  Nina is allowed to have her feelings Drew, and she's allowed to feel hurt and angry right now. I'm pretty hurt and angry myself that the writers saddled her with Willow for a daughter.

Lol forever at stupid Joss with her, "my mom pretended a lot with Sonny!" Please child, if Carly heard of an illegal shipment of anything coming in she would have been down at the docks twirling light up orange batons like a one woman ground crew to help the boat park.

I seen a lot of people say before that CM plays Drew just like Ryan Lavery and for the most part, I didn’t see it. I only saw him playing himself. However, yesterday’s episode was straight up everything I remember (and hated) about his portrayal of Ryan. Smug, condescending, and cringe yelling. usually directed at female characters

The new Quartermaine set is pretty but they keep giving that mansion “rooms” that don’t look like they belong there. This set and the kitchen both look like they belong in a much smaller and modern house. I couldn’t figure out where they were until someone told me. Not sure why they bother unless having the Q living room set up is a big hassle.
