What a contrived piece of crap reason to put her in Dex's vicinity.  I'm assuming they'll both fall in the dumpster and somehow end up naked with each other.  #FreeCam

I actually think the guy playing Dex has improved, though not by a lot. He was so wooden when he started

I actually like Joss with Dex and not just because of #FreeCam (believe me I want #Free Cam) but I think they have more of a spark then Joss and Cam. And Joss and Cam always seemed like a high school couple not an adult couple. Plus I hope since Baby Jasus has been to Afghanistan maybe he won't put up with Joss's BS. (I can dream, just like Drewfus was a navy seal so won't put up with Carly's BS???? ok that prob won't happen

I STILL wouldn't believe Avery's emergency go-to person is Joss.

My thing is... who is watching Avery? like does she have a Nanny? this is like the third time super sister Joss was called. (also avery is very careless with her things LOL because this is the third time she called Joss "losing something").

I'm not even blaming the stupid lima bean. this dumbo would be denying it regardless. This is why the "we caught it early" is crap to me because Willow was all super exhausted and whatever before she started carrying Rosemary's baby.  and now she's not telling Michael because 'we deserve to have some happiness before we face this diagnosis." it's mostly my issue with most of the storylines right now. Something is seriously wrong with [Insert Person Here], and they just go "meh well, whatever, if I don't think about it, it will go away." and I get that it's human nature to do that (hell I do that), but the thing is I wouldn't do that if i had a partner/kids.  and I hate Willow for making me fundamentally feel bad for her stupid boyfriend, because he should know. this impacts their family.

honestly I feel they put the two together because they wanted a teen romance/the sex tape thing. but that relationship/frienship legit should have ended the moment Joss put Jason ahead of her best friend and his feelings of what happened.  even Jason was like no you were out of line Joss, and Joss is like "yeah but still, Jason. he thought mean thoughts."

just like carly, I don't get why/how people are friends with Joss.

As someone who has actually been dealing with a cancer diagnosis all year (breast cancer, second surgery on Tuesday, I'm doing fine), I find this Willow-staying-silent thing incredibly insulting. The idea that a woman would not tell ANYONE close to them about the diagnosis is ridiculous. Studies show people with support do better than people without support - you'd think a nurse would know that.

It's not as bad as Ava wanting to kill herself after one session of chemo (as someone who has gone through a LOT of chemo, that drove me to a rage blackout), but it's pretty bad. Willow thinks she's being noble, and instead she's being a complete asshole.

She doesn't have to shout it from the rooftop or wear a T-shirt that says "Ask me about my cancer," but Michael is her partner. As terrible as he is, he deserves to know. It's part of the deal. What affects one of you affects you both.

I am so glad you are doing fine.

that's pretty much it.  and the thing is she doesn't want to lose a baby [again] which i understand, but i need solid dates here. if she feels that she can put it off until her second trimester (because t's three weeks away) cool. I support that. - if it's seven weeks away -  not cool. you have EARLY. CANCER. be thankful. get it treated. (and the thing is, from what i've read leukemia are one of those cancers that can very quickly go from early onset to - you are one step away from needing the whole cancer gauntlet thrown at you and then some). if this was for example BLQ - i could understand the hesitations because she doesn't know. but Willow is a nurse and keeps throwing out "in my studies, as a nurse."  then you know. do better. take advantage of your early diagnosis.

I totally don't remember when Ava had treatment for cancer.

Same.  I just looked it up: 2015, she, too, had leukemia.  Avery gave her a bone marrow transplant.  I must have blacked it out.

The Spencer scenes, both the nightmare with Esme, and later the scene with Cameron, and the Ava scenes were good today.

Yup, that's all I got. Thank goodness Monday is a new episode.

The former Noah now part-time Michael has no spirit, it’s sad to watch so I don’t and therefore have no clue how/why wooden Dex is on the chopping block. Although I don’t watch when CD is on either.

Michael had spirit? Huh?

In all seriousness, I really wonder what might have been if Drew Garrett had been able to develop as Michael instead of Chad Duell. I still cannot believe that someone who is that much of charisma suck and devoid of romantic chemistry with anybody has been allowed to be a soap opera leading man for over a decade.

I like this Michael mainly because he looks like he could be Billy Warlock's son and that makes me smile, especially because this show has stubbornly insisted on Michael having Sean Kanan's coloring instead of Billy Warlock.

The look in Spencer's face when Cam told him Trina was going back to college in the fall was gold. Like you can just see all over his face, "My friends are going back to college while I'm going back to jail."

Why don't the just not have Michael on for 2 months? This temp recast constant switching is absurd.

They tape the show in “blocks”, i.e., film all the scenes with certain actors and certain locations for the next few weeks all at once.  Saves time and money.  So these scenes with the temp Michael were all filmed during the same time as the last batch, when Chad was out sick.

It was a drawn out process to get BLQ and Chase together but they were cute today!

Hard to believe.  Because anything with Brook Lynn is not cute and Chase is just a shell of what he used to be.

What I found weird is that TempMichael now is in stories that hadn't started during his first go round. And it's not as if we needed to see Michael sneer at Sonny again or creepily track down Willow at GH. It smacks to me more of meeting minimums than the block taping. (Do temps fulfill the other actor's minimum?) Those scenes added nothing.

Odd how a scene from this far into the future made it into the same block.  When I saw him approach, he looked familiar, but it took a moment to realize he was Michael.

"It gave Drew and ME a minute to think," Carly, not "Drew and I." Come on, writers. That is such a basic thing to get right.

I always wonder if that is the writers or the actors...  if LW says it that way out of habit, they may not bother to redo it.

Probably the writers AND the actors. Cyrus Renault, impotent annoyance that he was, had an impeccable sense of grammar and would quote literary greats like Mark Twain. I always fancied those traits started with the Actor (Jeff Korber, who seems very erudite IRL), the writers picked that up and ran with it.

Yes, suddenly Willow has a graduation party, and is automatically hired without an interview, and starts practically the next day?

I'll give her a pass on the interview -- lots of professions will offer an intern a job without a formal interview because they've seen the person work for the last few months.

But since GH nursing school can apparently be completed without much attendance and GH doctors are in such short supply that even the specialists are often covering the ER, maybe the hospital has such a bad reputation that no one wants to work there so any warm body without a job lined up is hired immediately. 😉

I remember back in the day it being stated that getting into the HIGHLY COMPETITIVE GH nursing program equated to you having a job immediately upon graduation.  Only the elite, and all that.  🙄

This is so true. Additionally, what kind of living situation do Willow and Michael have where she can keep this a secret? Maybe until she starts some kind of treatment Willow can just avoid mentioning it, but once she starts treatment, how will she explain where she is during that time? If there are medications to take, will she hide them? This plan is so short sighted. If Willow and Michael are as "meant to be" as they keep saying, why wouldn't she value his input? Not making a big public announcement is understandable, but now she's actively deceiving Michael - and forcing Terry into going along with her lies when she knows Terry doesn't think this is the right thing to do - just awful!

Willow said she does plan to tell Michael. But she's going to tell Michael after her second trimester (ergo - she doesn't have to fight with Michael in deciding to do anything about the baby/putting it in danger) also also not giving him any bad news.

Which I think is selfish. Michael should know. they should decide together what is best for their family, because again, i need firm dates here - risking your life for 7 weeks and the baby could die anyway is rather selfish to their family (where as if it were 2-3 weeks i would be more on Willow's side here). and she's doing this because she doesn't want to lose another baby. Which is like whatever. I get that too. but then she's also acting like nothing is wrong, which is not good for the baby - when the mother has cancer and not having any treatments

Willow has been a nurse for approximately a nanosecond, but you know already that she's excellent at the job? Sure, Terry, whatever you say.

I can't even with Joss anymore. The girl who's been in the world for a nanosecond, comparatively, yet feels free to lord moral judgement over everyone, is soon to hook up with Dex, the guy who savagely beat up someone, while she watched, recorded, didn't call the police, deleted, and left the guy in the alley? Sure, Show, whatever you say. A match made in heaven.

Oh Avery, it's just a bracelet.  Remember when Mama Carly "borrowed" the half heart necklace you found in the woods?  You never got that back and you survived.  You don't even care that Nina is wearing it all over town.

So Sam asks Dante if he’s sure Rocco won’t miss having a backyard, and Dante replies ‘you have a great park a block away!’ Yes Dante, because a public park is exactly the same thing as a private back yard…🙄

I still can’t believe they’re just going to move in together without even discussing it with the kids first. I mean, I get it, this is a soap and the kids are rarely seen anyway. They’ll probably all be overjoyed with the idea (or so we’ll be told). It just bugs me that they’re not even considering the feelings of their children.

Same. I don't need to see the conversation, but it would be nice to hear that Sam and Dante have talked to their kids separately and together about moving in. Just because they all get along at the Qs doesn't mean things will be great at their new house.

It makes Sam and Dante look selfish and like terrible parents.

I feel most sorry for Rocco. He's living in a nice house where he lived with his mother when his world was sane,  he probably has friends in the neighbourhood, he has a life, he has a school. Now he'll be someone else's place with no memories of his mother, probably sharing a room unless the penthouse has four bedrooms. Sam saying that they should move before the start of the school year is good because it wouldn't be fair to start Rocco in one school and then move him into the school year but it seems unfair to all the kids to do this without giving them a voice.

It feels like Joss is the one obsessed with getting Avery's bracelet, not Avery. Maybe because she's determined to show that Avery is better off at Carly's, without Sonny in her life.

All Michael seems to do these days is encourage the worst of people and show how entitled he is. Our junior leading man folks.

It's gross we think Michael would totally do that as if it were the most natural thing in the world.

It's also gross that Willow won't tell Michael about her leukemia because she thinks that he will pressure her into having the treatment right away over her wishes. This is not the dream relationship the writers seem to think it is.

I don't think Rocco's school is going to change from where he is living. Violet went to the same school as Cam and she had to take a boat launch every day before she got to the mainland.

I think a lot of Willow senselessly keeping her diagnosis a secret from Michael, who is supposed to be this incredible, supportive partner (eye roll), is in part a gross set up by the writers to mitigate Carly keeping the Nina secret and that reveal. Michael will lament over his mother and the woman he loves not telling him the truth. It was his child at stake too! He should've known what was going on! I mean, he should know, but I'm afraid the framework in how that is expressed and carried out will be in a really icky way all in an effort to soften Carly's deception and build up Saint Michael.

I really don’t understand Willow’s motivations. First it was to spare Michael the worry until she knew for sure (I can understand this one, a bit), but now? She doesn’t think he will support her decision? She doesn’t think he has the right to weigh in? It will cause him too much pain? (How much pain does she think he will feel when he loses both his wife and baby, knowing at least one of those deaths could have been prevented?) This hasn’t been fully articulated, which makes it all the more maddening.

If Show wants me to empathize with poor sick Willow, they need to make her stop acting so dumb and inscrutable. But then again, it’s Willow. And Michael. Odds are I wouldn’t care anyway.

I think Rocco is supposed to be a teen so he might not care all that much about their backyard unless he had a pool or basketball hoop there but they are going to uproot him from the house he shared with his mom for most of his childhood to move in with his dad’s gf because she isn’t comfortable moving in there. You’d think that would be mentioned and making sure he’s ok with it considering he might not be dealing with her absence all that well. You already know they’ll leave all of those mementos that bothered Sam behind, even though Alexis told Sam Dante probably kept them around for Rocco’s sake.

She flat-out said if Michael knew he'd want her to immediately begin treatment, which isn't unreasonable.  What does speak to their relationship is that she must, on some level, think she would give in to his opinion--in other words, his demand.  Ultimately, it is her decision--it's her body--but the show wants to have it both ways: she gets to decide, but she won't tell Michael because then he might get to.

It's not on some level. Willow will voice her dissent, then falls in line with Michael and starts repeating the party line.
