Popular Post LadyChatts November 21, 2019 Popular Post Share November 21, 2019 (edited) So absolute radio silence from Dan and the gang after last week’s TC? Nothing at TC about last week? Two extremely satisfying boots tonight. Unfortunately, no one named Dan went home. But I’ll take it. Missy, writes Tommy’s name down. Gets voted off. “Who did it?” Tommy: “You came after me.” Missy: “No I didn’t.” Even though she just wrote his name down. I thought Karishma was trying to get her name written down just to play her idol in spectacular fashion. Elaine redeemed herself tonight. I guess she’s better than I thought. Popular Post Lady Calypso November 21, 2019 Popular Post Share November 21, 2019 I mean, I was hoping for Dan and Elizabeth to go, but the other two involved in last week's issue (Aaron and Missy) aren't bad choices either. I started out rooting for Missy but man, the last few episodes turned me off of her, especially with her last minute plea and her obnoxious exit. Sorry Missy; you weren't as slick as you thought. As it turns out, you WEREN'T running the game. Karishma was obnoxious too, don't get me wrong. She IS lazy and she DOESN'T do anything. She had to be forced out to go for coconuts in order to find her hidden immunity idol. Karishma acts like she's been part of the game when she hasn't. However.... she was right on the nose about Missy. She knew she was getting used by Missy. 64 Link to comment

In lighter news, Noura celebrating her victory while her tribe mates all mourned the loss of PB & J was hilarious! I kind of love her. 19 44 Link to comment
Ms Blue Jay November 21, 2019 Share November 21, 2019 (edited) I'm disappointed. I liked Aaron. But whatever, this whole season is a mess since Kellee's been booted. I'm glad that Missy called out the show, "Women are typically the first to be voted out. Minorities, second." Good for her. (And I'm fully aware there are minority women. Like Karishma and Lauren; the last two minorities standing.) Missy saying goodbye at the end of the episode: Edited November 21, 2019 by Ms Blue Jay 16 6 Link to comment
Popular Post LadyChatts November 21, 2019 Popular Post Share November 21, 2019 (edited) Heh, I just got thinking that Chelsea said in her exit interviews how Karishma would turn on her former tribe in a heart beat. Missy can sure dish it out, but can't take it. She was playing way too hard. When she talked about Kellee being a social player, I thought she might need to take some notes. Karishma had zero reason to go along with what Missy wanted. Also, for some other highlights: Noura jumping down prematurely after winning the IC, costing her tribe PB & J, going to TC second, and sending her tribe back to the old deserted Lairo camp. And Rob saying from his box seats about Dean rolling up his sleeves to show his muscles. Edited November 21, 2019 by LadyChatts 13 28 Link to comment

Popular Post truthaboutluv November 21, 2019 Popular Post Share November 21, 2019 (edited) These players would have been idiots to not take Missy and Aaron out when they had such a golden opportunity to. I knew Aaron and Missy's arrogance and too aggressive play would come back and bite them in the ass. They were way too open with how hard they were playing. Everyone knew it and so everyone knew what huge threats they were. That said, while I'm fine with the Missy vote, I would have totally been okay with Tommy leaving. While Missy was yes, arrogant, Tommy has this annoying as fuck air of entitlement about him. And it just grates on my nerves. And with her idol that no one knows she has, it's looking more and more likely that Karishma is going to GOAT her way to the end. Awesome. Rob's even calling it. Speaking of Karishma, I'm just going to assume that there was a lot editing didn't show of her and Missy's interactions. Because honestly, I was very confused by that exchange when Missy was telling her of the plan to get out Tommy. Karishma just seemed to be acting weird to me with the not looking at Missy's face and then she stalks off saying Missy is bullying her, etc. Yeah color me confused. And it's not that I doubt Missy's arrogance, because we did see that but the way Karishma was going on, this just seemed much deeper than anything we'd been shown. That said, speaking of Missy, girl's a little scary at times. That line to Elizabeth at the end there to kill Elaine and do it slow and methodically...um, okay. In any case, Elizabeth ain't got no power to kill anyone. Not without her muscle of Aaron and Missy by her side. Well maybe this will be her opportunity to show her superior game play. Not holding my breath though. And I just realized again that somehow Nutty Noura and Whiny Karishma have both made it this far into the game, outlasting so many others. Wow. Eolivet November 21, 2019 Share November 21, 2019 I get that this episode has been edited for months, but really they couldn't maybe not pick the sexual harasser to get extended strategy confessionals, have the one woman who spoke out against him pledging her loyalty to him, and give him a bunch of screentime in the episode after they graphically depicted the extent of his sexual harassment? ::Richard Gere in Chicago voice:: That's Survivor. 13 Link to comment

LadyChatts November 21, 2019 Share November 21, 2019 (edited) Lauren is really not perceptive of her fellow tribemates and surroundings, is she? First Elaine wasn’t smart enough to find an idol, then she believed Karishma was sick. If you told her that casting a vote in the jury was actually voting against that person, she might believe it. I was annoyed to see another endurance IC, but that was kind of cool. Noura and Elaine were the last two people I expected to win. After this season (well, I guess next season since it already filmed), do you think they’ll go back to wearing swimsuits vs underwear, after all the backlash from Dan-gate? Popular Post nlkm9 November 21, 2019 Popular Post Share November 21, 2019 I really cannot believe people are bringing up race in the last few boots. Missy was very very nasty and it doesn’t matter what color she is she deserved the vote. Same with Aaron. Popular Post EllenB November 21, 2019 Popular Post Share November 21, 2019 I wonder if Noura had the same confusion I did, that the winner of each team would go head-to-head AFTER the first part of the challenge. At least I have the excuse that I was shoveling food in my mouth and not listening closely. Missy became much more likeable AFTER she was voted out. She was certainly bossy, but not actually a bully. And Karishma has absolutely no clue of social game. I honestly did not realize Aaron was black. I was thinking maybe Greek or other Mediterranean background, or even Hungarian - some of my Hungarian relatives look like him (in skin tone only - not nearly as good-looking). 2 23 Link to comment

Wandering Snark November 21, 2019 Share November 21, 2019 (edited) Interesting "twist", talk about curveballs! Not really interesting in how it played out though as each 'side' took out the biggest threat not the easy vote... overall it was mostly tribal which makes for an odd layout/episode. Eh. At least they are trying to switch things up and keep people on their toes. This season is still dragging though, and poorly cast (imo). Lantern7 November 21, 2019 Share November 21, 2019 (edited) No recap from last week. I'm a bit surprised, because I feel the episodes pushed Survivor into the mainstream once again, and Probst and Co. would feel there's no such thing as bad attention. I get how Karishma can bug, and that it doesn't have to be an "either/or" thing with her and Noura . . . but I want Noura out. Blindsided, expected, whatever. She bugs. And I'd add hyperbole, but last week ruined that for me. And I'm happy Karishma snagged an idol. If it comes down to her, Elaine and Janet on Day 39, would that be the worst thing? I mean, IOTI is basically prelude to the fortieth season. When nobody goes to the IOTI, what do Rob and Sandra do? Do they have to live like the contestants?
