I hope she has stocked up on Deet; There's a reason why it was named Bucks County.

It would be just her luck if Gigi, the only Lyme free child, were to come into contact with a rogue tick on Yo's farm.

Imagine that. 4 for 4! In one family.

Somebody would have to call Guinness (Book of Work Records).

I have a serious question, because I honestly don't know.

What is remission as it pertains to Lyme Disease?

Does that mean that the disease has been temporarily cured, but could return?

If so, what could temporarily cure it and what could cause a return?

Please, seriously asking.

I would be interested in hearing from people who have personal experience with this.

Absolutely gorgeous! What a find.

It seems a random place for her to end up but it's gorgeous. Is Anwar also living in NY?

It is sort of random and rampant with Lyme ticks. Very strange.

Apparently she also grows her own pine cones and is that her own home grown mistletoe?

I have pine trees around my property but wouldn't call the cones "home grown". I didn't plant and grow them.

Everything homegrown except for the pomegranate. Yeah sure.

She is a moron, but the problem is that she thinks that we are morons as well, to believe her BS.

There were over 48,000 "likes" for that photo, so I can't say she's wrong about the morons.

There is a difference between Lyme and "chronic Lyme" (which Yolanda also referred to as "neurological Lyme").

Lyme is recognized by mainstream medical consensus as a totally curable disease. There are several acceptable antibiotic treatments (Lyme is a bacterial infection) but doxycycline is probably the most common.

"Chronic Lyme"* is the designation applied to a phenomenon in which certain Lyme patients self-report the persistence and/or intensification of symptoms even after treatment. There are various hypothetical explanations for this, the two most popular of which are that 1) the infection wasn't remedied quickly enough in said patients and the enduring symptoms are the result of permanent cellular/tissue damage and 2) the infection, in fact, wasn't cured because there are manifeststions of "chronic Lyme" that, apparently, most modern medical providers haven't yet become aware of. "Chronic Lyme" is not acknowledged by the CDC, though the website does note that it is an unproven theory.

* Or, alternately and even more troublingly, in which a diagnosis/name is simply applied to a collection of symptoms without any concrete proof of Lyme infection to begin with in order to taxonomize said collections of symptoms that don't have any known or provable causation.

Yolanda's presentation of her supposed ailment was baldly insane and nonsensical - she referred to monitoring her "viral load" (a term most often used with respect to HIV patients) even though Lyme is bacterial, not viral; compared her plight to those of AIDS victims in the 1980s; and has mentioned that one of her medical providers diagnosed Bella and/or Anwar over the phone. One of the specialists she consulted with on the show has suggested that Lyme is caused by microwaves.

So, basically, to answer your question, there would be no real uniform consensus among mainstream medical practitioners for what Lyme "remission" looks like because Lyme, as it is understood, is a curable malady and "chronic Lyme" is terminology essentially applied to ailments about which little is definitively/canonically known.

I think Yolanda is stunning.  But she's a model agent now?  Hmmm.  And she was bringing them cupcakes?  After she served them, did she say, "Eat them now, girls. Because from now on, it's kale and half an almond for you!"

Nevertheless, I will watch the hell out of this show.  I'm fascinated by the culture and I think she has the ability to nurture young models.  She has a kindness and obviously, first hand knowledge, of what it takes to mold them.  I know there were a lot of jokes about her letting Gigi only take a bite of her own birthday cake, but that's what it takes to remain that fit.  Those girls are about to learn, trial by fire.

Yolanda’s sheer willpower can transform ambivalent, ethnically nosed middle children into top models, but is she really trying for the contestants on this show? How many do you think will be over twenty-five? I’m guessing two.

I like Yo and think she was a gorgeous model (remember thinking that at the time, and also recall pics of her and her three babies back then) - but the industry is so sick, don’t think I’ll watch.

Glad I checked in here. Oh my, her new farm in Mechanicsville, Pa.  I drive near there all the time, on the way to visit family.

That beautifully restored stone farmhouse and property is so Bucks County , Pa.

I am jealous. ;)

Interesting choice to take her life from So Cal to east coast. Still 2-3 hour drive from there to NYC.

Not a good career move.

Tried to watch it but a 1:33 in and the phone still ringing was annoying.  Nice statue next to the bed.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how she allowed this to happen?

Worst short film ever.

If you can make it to her drinking the milk....just no.

I don't know which is worse, this short or Bella's "shoe" interview.

Both terribly embarrassing.

The whole thing is annoying and it doesn't make any sense at all! I hope Gigi isn't going to use this to help promote herself as an actress because the whole thing stinks, it's stupid and all she does is look on with a blank stare the whole time. LOL

I am going to pretend to myself that she was drugged and someone convinced her that this was a great career move.

Somehow I don't picture Yolanda endorsing this. #notproudmommy.

Seems to be the equivalent of Erika being convinced by Mikey that she looks fabulous.

Please, people...always seek a second and third opinion.

Nahhh, I am sure Yolanda is proud as always. Gigi can do no wrong in her eyes. After all, It's art, I tell you, ART! LOL

I can't find it online but congrats to Yolanda for her book being no 2 on EW worst books of the year!

On on Yolanda just never seems to make it to number 1.  It must have been a gut punch when Kendall Jenner was ranked as the highest paid model of the year this year.  http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-42069786  All those bizarre awards her girls get for their modeling and Kendall raked in the most dough?

There seems to be this trend where RH believe we really want more of what we see on TV.  Yolanda's claims at times were so outrageous.  My favorite is when she was too exhausted to get out of the car during a photo shoot and stayed parked in Kyle's driveway (which is kind of out of sight of the house) and expected people to come out and see her.  They didn't know she was there.  Another weird note is Yolanda talking about growing up on a farm and then she shows us the apartment house they lived in.  Her father was a shirt salesman.  I don't think shirts are grown on a farm.

So many have written books about their life experiences and most of them are boring as all get out.  Erika is the next one with a book.  I can't imagine what is so interesting about her life.    They seem to get a pretty nice advance for their stories so I guess there is that perk.

This is worse. Bella's shoe interview had emotion. This was terrible. Flat and ponderous isn't the new artsy and contemplative. And it certainly isn't good.

That short film is random. Not just because of Gigi's robotic line delivery but because the footage was originally used for a Halsey music video about two years ago. It seems like the short was the original purpose and then the visuals were coopted for the song? Or the voice over was just dubbed in as a way to reuse the setup? Which I've never seen done before.

The singer was featured on The Chainsmokers track Closer, but Gasoline predates that duet.

It still doesn't make sense with the song lyrics! LOL

The other video is two and a half years old.

It doesn’t seem to have dented Gigi’s fame. She gained over thirty million instagram followers since then. You can watch the total very slowly increase here.

Yolanda has the most instagram followers of any RHOBH. She even beats Lisa.

I must be missing something. This "Halsey video" wasn't posted on her youtube; it was posted by a random account that has other random non-Halsey things on it. It seems like some Halsey fan saw the short film, removed the original audio, edited the short, and laid Gasoline on top of the footage. I'm pretty sure that this ponderous mess was the original and only purpose. They should be thankful that someone managed to repurpose it.

Yolanda bought a fancy lavender farm.

Whoa that is beautiful!

Anyone know why the heck she decided to move all the way across the country to our fair commonwealth? Did she really need a whole country between her and “my (ex) love”?

Yo was on Wendy Williams Monday or Tuesday this week (sorry, at home sick, so it's a blur).  Anyhow, she is feeling so good, and in remission.  She brought a healing crystal for Wendy, which Wendy said oh how thoughtful and put on the table (didn't look like Wendy was impressed at all).

Yo was there to promote her show on Lifetime, and all I recall from the clip was one girl crying saying how she had to win.

Wendy asked about her farm in PA, and Yo said where?  She didn't want to disclose where it was, but said oh she's basically one with nature.  She has chickens, cows, goats, horses.  Wouldn't that also be an area that would have ticks in the summer?  Seems kind of an odd choice, but maybe once you have been bitten by a tick or was it a horsefly, it doesn't matter?

I'm burying the headline, Yo is in love!  Yes, she has been dating a few months, and is in love with a very private guy, who's a businessman.

Wendy asked about her Christmas and was Zayne (?) around?  He's dating Gigi.  Apparently, Yo, Gigi, Zayne, and the non-Gigi's were all together having a back to basics holiday, around the fire, knitting, talking, etc.
