It's not just LVP fans that are no longer interested. For some of the viewers, this has nothing to do with LVP.  Some people have just been so put off by Kyle, Teddi, Erika, Dorit and Rinna they no longer care about this show. All the blame for the demise of this show cannot lie at the feet of LVP's departure. The rest of the cast just plain suck.

I think that Erika made her exit for different reasons, but in the end I agree with you in that she got out just in time.

If these women choose to trash SUR et al., they can expect the same attacks on the businesses that they are associated with. If they are going down that road, no one will be exempt.

If this continues, the battle will not be fought on the RH "playground", but on twitter, intstagram and other social media, as well as the tabloids. A whole new ballgame. Bravo is going to lose control.

Actually Bravo has already lost control of their players.

So far “the demise of this show” is a figment of a few grasping imaginations.

I don’t think the show will be canceled after this season which I think will be an abject failure. I do think that there will be a massive retooling and overhaul of the cast which should have happened this year.

Similar to what happened to NY when they brought in Carol, Heather and Kristin. Until they brought the star Bethenny back and their franchise got their groove back.

History tends to repeat itself.

I think this is very perceptive and right on the money.

Is this Portia? I know she's "modeling" now, and it looks a lot like her.

I don’t think it’s Portia.  I would have expected Kyle to have posted about this.  She had a few posts and retweet about her Halloween roll, which I think is pretty impressive.

I think this is very true.

I am a fan of LVP, not in a team way, but I have always enjoyed LVP on the show.  I have not particularly enjoyed Kyle.  I do not care for Teddi or Rinna.  This past season was particularly challenging to watch partly because of the situation with LVP, but also because I didn't like the way Kyle, Teddi, Rinna and Erika were behaving.  They could have been acting this way towards anyone, it had nothing to do with the fact that it was towards LVP, and had LVP been part of the behavior, it would have changed my opinion of her.  It certainly changed my view of Erika.

I'm on the fence with watching BH next season at this point.  I'm leaning towards no.  I've already given up NJ, am close to dropping OC and ATL.  NJ was easy because Tre was not fired.  I'm likely to drop ATL because Nene and Kenya will be back.  OC is just . . . ugh.  And with BH I feel like there's  nothing really there for me at this point, LVP was some of the fluffy lifestyle porn I wanted to see, but now she's gone and the others all behave in ways I very much don't like.  The dark outweighs the fluff and if I'm in that position, then I'll watch something that actually has substance.  They need to stop ruining my FLUFF!

Exactly -  who the fuck wants to watch an innocent dog get dumped,  a grieving woman harassed, and a conman get his toenails clipped by his wife?  It's Queer Eye meets The Housewive's Tale.  #wheresmyfluff?

The colonial effect does linger in some countries, I suppose, even subconsciously.

I don't think that sentiment scans for whole nations but it sure as hell scans for Kyle - any woman who treats  "bums" as if she were to the manor born is living out a colonialist fantasy;  M'lady "civilizing" the homeless. Repugnant.

Reactions from Kyle's twitter account to her announcement she's in the next Halloween movie:

When your on screen it will be a good time to leave for a bathroom break.

Is the story line that she accuses Jamie Lee of selling a story to the tabloids because she's already done that.

Hopefully her character will be one of Michael Myers’ first victims. I will definitely be rooting for him!

And last but not least:

Of course not, but it does explain a bit to me about charisma, and how it is perceived on others...which I suppose at this point is way off-topic, and belongs on another website.

Except we all know she is really giving it away for free...

Twitter is not Kyle's friend. Check out the twitter reactions to her fashion show. She must be the laughingstock of NYFW. (Actually, you can hear people laughing in the clips) What kind of crazy edit/spin are they going to put on this when the next season of RHBH airs? It will be most telling if they even try to make this look like a positive storyline for Kyle. She is not only dragging herself, she is taking the entire cast with her.

It'll be fun, they said. We'll get to wear cute clothes they said. LOL😝

Twitter reactions are often just that — reactions on Twitter. There are times when Twitter has its pulse on the cultural zeitgeist, but RHOBH Season 9 ain’t it. NYFW is not checking for RHOBH Twitter trolls.

Agreed. RHOBH should have it's pulse on the RHOBH twitter feed.  If the next season is anything like the recent RHOBH twitter feed.....well....

They're already spinning. Bravo has a glowing review of the (ahem) fashion show on the site (hey, did you guys know Kyle's collection  - to my eye a delightful mix of Mrs. Roper and 80s Madonna -  exemplied Kyle's "breezy-glamour style"? I had NO idea that's what she's been doing all these years. Fashion mystery solved!)

Who did Teddi morally compass into accountability  piss off at Bravo to end up with this photo on the site?

That's a really bad angle. She looks like she has a Ramona Pinot-gut or is pregnant and fat inner thighs. Did they photoshop other someone's thighs onto her? Where are all the muscles from her workouts? The body suit is too short for her long torso and falls way below her breast line.

I don't know if the timeline matches with FW, but Teddi IS pregnant. She announced it in US magazine recently. It doesn't make her clomping walk any less awkward or hilarious though.

I don’t believe the original case settled.   He tried to get it dismissed, but his motion was denied.  He’s hanging his hat on the fact that the Feds approved the property sale, but I’m not sure that the Feds were aware he was involved in the purchase.  He definitely owed a fiduciary duty to the seller, and if the claim is true, he’s in trouble.   I’m not sure if the same claim will hold with the potential buyer.

I can’t stand Kyle, but I’ve always liked Mauricio.  I didn’t agree with the idea that mention of his lawsuits were off limits.  He’s promoted the Agency all over Bravo.

I don’t see how his license isn’t subject to some review over this.

There have been 3 lawsuits.

Lawsuit 1 was brought by the plutocrat, Obiang, who stole from his country and was forced by the DOJ to sell the property. Any amount from the sale that was above the DOJ fine was to go to charity. I'm still not certain that Obiang has standing to sue because he was never intended to lay a single grubby paw on a single cent of the money realized from the sale of the property. Obiang sued for $8 million above the accepted offer. They sued Mauricio for $5 million and Mauricio's insurance company for $3 million.

Lawsuit 2 was brought by the insurance company. They didn't want to be on the hook for $3 million because they believed Mauricio's actions were intentionally fraudulent and not covered by the insurance policy. This is the case that has settled. Mauricio agreed to cover the insurance company's lawyers fees and potential damages.

Lawsuit 3 is from the potential buyer who offered $40 million for the property. The earlier suits indicated that this potential buyer had only offered to buy Mauricio's partner out of his position with the seller. This lawsuit alleges that Mauricio was being misleading so that their offer of $40 million was not presented as a true offer to the seller, but instead $8 million to Oberfeld (Mauricio's partner) and $32 million to the seller conditioned on Oberfeld accepting the $8 million offer.

Thanks @HunterHunted for your input. I always look forward to your knowledgeable responses. What does this mean for Mauricio? Do any of these suits have the potential to be problematic for his business or are they fairly common in this field?

My husband is a realtor, and this is a sleazy thing that some realtors do that is really infuriating, and very frustrating because you usually can't prove it and there is no way to inform the sellers that their realtor is doing this. We have had a number of deals where the buyer my husband was representing made very good offers, but the selling agent wanted both sides of the deal, so they stalled our buyers until they could secure one that they had on the hook with a lower offer. That's basically what Mauricio is being accused of here. He's a greedy, shifty piece of crap, if this is true.
