I don't understand Carole's logic. She defends her 'bashing' because it was in the confessionals which happens after you get to see what the others said about you. But wasn't most of Bethenny's bashing also in the confessionals? Bethenny was a total mean girl to Carole and a lot of it she did straight to Carole's face - whether Carole wants to characterize it as better or worse than what Bethenny did doesn't change the fact that her mean girl behaviour was vey passive aggressive. When the other women had the slightest grievance against Bethenny, Carole egged it on and would make comments about Bethenny. Both of them were nasty in their confessionals and neither are truly owning it. Even when it was brought up that Carole and her friend were mocking Bethenny and her business, Carole wouldn't own it. Both want to act like pieces of shit and play the victim against one another. 

So after watching the Hampton's scene, Sonja wasn't even the one to compare divorce and death as being the same thing. Dorinda made the comparison in her own head. Sonja, unless you have a mental disorder, going off your meds aren't going to make up whole lies about things that aren't happening and accusing someone of the things that you've concocted in your own mind. She may have copped to saying stupid shit, but I think Tinsley deserved a better 'apology' then that. She said mean things to Tinsley over a petty grudge she was carrying over Tinsley's head and to this day, I still can't figure out how any of Sonja's reasons for being hard on Tinsley made any sense...at all. 

Carole's entire hippocampus bit sums up well why I don't like Carole. Everything about what she said on the matter rubbed me the wrong way and for someone who prides herself on being a writer, I can't chalk it up to her misspeaking. That can't be it when that's supposed to be one of her strong suits.
