If it's any consolation, dosodog, maybe Eddie is not quite "with it" given the meds he is on.  My boss has been on a lot of meds for heart issues the past year, and there are many days he seems to be "off."  Eddie seemed like he was a little out of it to me.  He might look back on his interaction with Vicki and wonder what the hell he was thinking!  Better yet, the only way to get her to leave was to say he forgave her.  The quicker he did that, the quicker she disappeared!  I'm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt here.  ;)

My doc offered to put me on hormones, basically birth control to regulate my symptoms. Bc makes you have regular periods. I said no thanks. I can imagine shannon going on hormones.

Yes, they do give hormone replacement meds to alleviate the symptoms of peri-menopause and menopause but it is just putting off what has to happen at some point when you stop taking the replacement meds (which come with a slew of health risks all on their own).

I didn't think Eddie was drinking at the Deuteronomy Apology Lunch.  It looked like he ordered two martinis for Tamra and Vicki, then was drinking water from a fancy glass.

Emily's husband cracked me up saying that the embryos could keep each other company.  It seemed cruel but the perfect response to her idiotically whining that the embryos were lonely.

i wanna know what skin care products Kelly uses.  She looks really good without makeup- hard to do in High Definition.

To know that Tamra is about to leave Eddie to go on a girls trip is beyond my comprehension. Forget the physical change...the emotional and psychological effects are humongous. I hope your husband feels stronger and healthier with each day. I have a friend getting an aortic valve replacement tomorrow and have tried to prepare him for the emotional, as well as physical, affects he can expect. 

I hesitate to defend Tamra, as she is heinous, but an ablation is nowhere near the same as open heart surgery. It is done via a catheter through an artery and although scary and with some risk (anything with the heart is scary) once finished, recovery time is minimal. Any effects Eddie might be feeling at the time these particular episodes were filmed was probably due to the blood thinners. It took several months for my husband to get used to them and for doctors to get the dosage just right.

I was impressed that Eddie accepted Vickie's pathetic attempt at an apology, yet he made it pretty clear he wasn't actually buying it.  Her use of the bible tells me she will use God just like she uses anyone else in order to justify her excuse-less  behavior.   Eddie point blank told her it was gonna take awhile.  I'm hoping he means forever.  

As for Kelly...I don't care for her, but to choose her ex over their friendship was just another new kind of low for old, bible thumping, empty love-tanked Vick.   She's just dirty.

Yeah, exactly. That reaction was more about Vicki (surprise, surprise)—that she was actually responsible for that conversation between the son and Tamra & Eddie..

Then his dad took him down to look at the battered, holey fence. "See, son, the fence will never be the same." Vicki, bless her heart, can say she's sorry every time she tramples someone, but that relationship will not be the same. She can say she wants to "go back to the way we were," but that fence is full of nail holes.

That’s a good analogy.  But even if you show Vicki proof positive that she’s in the wrong, she’ll just shake her head like a dog with an ear infection and hold her breath until you give up.  She’s pathological.   I’ve read that people with personal disorders mellow with age, but she’s gotten worse.

This could apply to Kelly too.  She gets all crazy, swings as low as possible and a viciously as possible, and then offers an apology that always includes an "of course."  

 

So horrible trash dump of a person and cancer scammer Vicki is a horrible person and doesn't understand what she's done wrong, color me surprised.  

I'm so confused about the Long Island Unicorn's husband having a job and apartment in "Northern LA".  I live in LA and don't think I've ever heard anyone say Northern LA.  Does she mean the valley?  Does she mean the north eastern part of the city like Eagle Rock, Silver Lake, etc?  Does she mean the northern part of LA County but doesn't want to say Antelope Valley or High Desert because that's too methy and low class for her fancy ass?

Well, yes and no.  Kelly said she wished her ex would find someone.  Michael is available and looking and he is not doing so on TV, he is entitled to date and to date without Bravo cameras.  Kelly will at some point go on a date and most likey it will be filmed.  Vicki did not tell Kelly because of Kelly's statement about Michael should find someone and because she knew that news might sting a little and for all we know that date was nothing serious.

Vicki made it sound like they were all at the same party and nothing was pre arranged.

I had no idea that Vicki played a major role in that...Vicki really is clueless about how her actions affect others.  Is she a psychopath?  She has some sort of personality disorder, right?

My favorite part of about that was Vicki leaving Tamra and Eddie saying, "I have to go sell insurance. . . " and then we see her getting in the car asking Kelly if she wants to hang out and get something to eat. Vicki WORKS, don't you know?

I'm so confused about the Long Island Unicorn's husband having a job and apartment in "Northern LA".  I live in LA and don't think I've ever heard anyone say Northern LA.  Does she mean the valley?  Does she mean the north eastern part of the city like Eagle Rock, Silver Lake, etc?  Does she mean the northern part of LA County but doesn't want to say Antelope Valley or High Desert because that's too methy and low class for her fancy ass?

Neither of the new HoWives has made much of an impression on me yet. I don't love 'em. I don't hate 'em. I feel about them the way I did about Shannon and Meghan and Heather at first: Okay, I'll wait and see. I had a visceral, immediate loathing for Kelly and Peggy in this franchise. I never budged off my loathing of Peggy and have only moved to "intensely dislike" Kelly. Kelly had a few moments last season when she wasn't loathsome, but maybe that was only because Peggy tripped ALL my triggers and then stomped on each one of them in her stiletto heels. so Kelly was less horrifying in comparison.

The real issue with Vicki setting her friend up with Michael is that Vicki has been involved in multiple conversations about Michael being diagnosed with Narcissistic Personality Disorder. 

The Judge had him tested. He’s not stable. 

Does Vicki hate her friend that much?

I don't think Vicki specifically set them up, they just met at a bbq at her house, but she should have let Kelly know once it moved on to double dates.  I also think the connection to Michael is more Steve than Vicki.  Steve perhaps is the one that invited Michael to the event in the first place.  Just the impression I got.  Vicki is still the absolute worst though and Kelly is right to be upset with her, imo.

Vicki is so full of herself that she makes her apology on her timetable--right in the middle of their lunch. Nice. Not to mention the fact that her apologies are just stop gaps until the next time she betrays her friends. 

Kelly was right although she overreacted. She was probably drunk. But Vicki is nasty. 

I think the Mormon husband is cheating. I think that because he seemed to go out of his way to not be affectionate with his wife on camera. As if he didn’t want his mistress to see that they still get romantical on camera. And he was so adamant about saying no to another baby. It just seemed off to me. I think most husbands would be a little more wishy-washy. Maybe a bit more passively negative. But to just state coldly, ‘no! No baby for you!’ Jarred me a little. The not kissing because of the lipstick excuse nailed it.

Well, just to play devil’s advocate here, what if Vickie really liked Michael and thought of him as a friend herself? I myself never found him objectionable, and always thought kelly was gaslighting us into thinking a pretty innocuous guy was so horrible she just had to divorce him. And what if she is really a ride-or-die friend to the woman she set him up with? What if her true loyalty-not reality tv job loyalty-is to the friend, who may have been lonely for years? And kelly DID say she wanted him to date. So... I don’t know...I can see kelly being upset, but really, why? She doesn’t want Michael anymore. She threw him away. I can see kelly wanting Vickie to have given her a heads-up, but really, that screaming banshee that she turned into over this is a little over the top, no?

also, Vickie is a lying liar who lies and I don’t think anyone here, there or anywhere, ever believes a word she says. Or ever will. I expect nothing from her. This is apropos of nothing but I needed to say it.

Vicki is the worst.  Sorry - I am totally with Kelly on this one!  What a horrible friend to do something like this.

So we understand that the following happened:

1) Vicki had a party where Michael was invited (?)

2) Kelly was NOT invited

3) Vicki invites single women friends that can potentially meet Michael

4) One of Vicki's friends clicks with Michael and they start dating

*** RED FLAG NUMBER ONE*** all of this has taken place and Kelly does not know, was not given a heads up from Vicki.

Here is where things get even worse:

6) Vicki and her guy Steve go on double dates with Michael and the new GF.

This is HORRIBLE.  I do not care what Kelly said about hoping he moves on, hoping he gets a new GF, hating him for years, not wanting at all to stay married to him, trying to divorce him already once prior, it does not matter, you DO NOT do that when a friend gets divorced.  You do not stay friends and buddy up with her ex.  No, no, no, just no.  If a friend of mine did that to me when I got divorced, I would not be friends with them anymore.

This happened to Tamra, when she divorced Simpn Jeana was chummy with him.  Tamra didn't like it either.  It is just NOT OK in any stretch of imagination.  It's a sign of a shitty friend, and a woman who in general is NOT kind to other women.

For Vicki to be indignant and yelling "Stop it just stop it" in her scolding fishwife way to Kelly was gross.  Vicki is just a lousy person.

When you get divorced, you find out quickly who your real friends are.  Kelly - Vicki is not one of them.

But according to who? Kelly? Kelly has a stake in claiming that, she’s divorcing him for the second time and prob wants his money. I’ve only heard the narcissistic personality disorder discussed once, and it was kelly telling everyone about it. Kelly also said ‘look at him, he’s terrible, I can’t take him anymore’, as the camera pans to Michael just standing there, chatting with other guests at an event. Kelly’s main complaint last year was that Michael doesn’t like to go out and drink, that he has more in common with Kelly’s mother.
