Wendy looked and sounded out of place on this show.  I am not sure how many viewers care about what L Lohan is doing.  She looked more like a drag queen against the backdrop of this cast than in her purple chair.  

They blocked out a lot more than just "bad" words.  Entire sentences were lost.

I didn't know about her Graves disease, but it wasn't even her eyes that caught me up. It was the immobility of her face. 

Does anyone know, do the hosts have any say over what they'll wear? I mean, this isn't a scripted drama where there could be a reason to make Willow wear the pelt of Elmo, or as Sep called it, make her look like a refugee from Fraggle Rock.

I just watched the Megyn Kellly (and for heaven's sake, can all the Megans in the English speaking world just get together and agree on a spelling of their name?) and Janice Dean (?) segments. I don't even know what to say about the body shaming thing. Kelly's walk-back came off as so insincere. Wendy's delivery was perfect with the "she's so authentic," crack.

I appreciated McCain's input on the issue, when she usually sets my teeth on edge. It was a good segment (imo). Sunny's comments were good, too. 

I'm embarrassed to admit I'm a little excited about Joy and MM making over each other's dressing rooms, even though the contrivance is beyond transparent.  I wonder what's the truth behind it, though. I wonder if they will really get final approval/disapproval of proposed changes. 

Donald Sutherland ran roughshod over the Buffy the Vampire Slayer film (per Joss, anyhow), so I wasn't prepared to enjoy his appearance, but then he just seemed so sweet. (Also, I keep worrying #metoo stories will break about Whedon, which is neither here nor there.) 

Helen Mirren is a goddess. I thought she brought great perspective to the nude scene/love scene conversation. Their movie looks cute, too.

I can explain some of trumps base better then MM since I grew up in middle America (she didnt), in a blue collar/middle class family( she didnt), with an overly religious section of my family (maybe she did) .plus going growing up with future Trump supporters as friends and classmates (maybe she did).  With that said, if I said out loud I could explain his base..and someone asks me a question about a particular topic..i better have an answer..or else is have to be quiet.

Whoopi had always fascinated me...sometimes I love her, other times I dont....but when she acted primarily..she was always likable and didn't always play herself.  With that said, she's been nicer to Sunny this far in 2018.

MM asking abt Lohan's  accent in a valley girl  voice corroded with vocal fry was so incredibly self-unaware.  Doesn't she watch/hear herself??????   Doesn't she realize that that type of voice sounds astoundingly ignorant, not young and cute, especially on a 33 year old woman (who looks like a well-preserved 50 year old with her hair up). 

Finally, big sigh again, hating journalists. So many great posts above, i.e., Faux friends/journalists, her own plagiarizing hubbie, history/current events of dictatorial governments around the world shutting down print, audio, and video social media when taking power,  and most of all,  the fucking awesome First Amendment of the greatest country on Earth!!!!!!

I remember Jedi once saying that because she was expected to wear short skirts at Fox, she would sometimes choose pants from the clothes The View stylists picked out for her.  So that made me think they do have some say over what they wear.

You took the words right out of my mouth.  The lipstick was horrendous and that hairdo that she seems to love is so unbecoming for someone with a roundish face.  As someone posted here this week, a nice bouncy chin length bob would look so cute on her.

I kept staring at Wendy Williams' nose each time she spoke.  It's going into Michael Jackson territory.

ETA---Brain freeze.  I was thinking makeup/hair when I read "wardrobe."  Her wardrobe needs work, too.

Now with lip fillers it can look less obvious but it is a dead give away someone had their nose done. Marie's face is not a result of fillers and botox, that is surgery. Joy gets fillers and botox and it can soften the appearance but doesn't give the face the pulled look like Marie, Nicole Kidman etc. It was so distracting and then to hear her plug her moisturizing line, sure Jan.

I wouldn't classify Sara as an Independent though. She does look at things from both sides, but I think someone who has been looking at politics for awhile and isn't with the two major parties would have provided more insight as to why there's a significant group that doesn't believe in the news. It's not just Trump, which is what Joy and the panel were saying. And it's not just his base that feel this way.

I don't want to expand on this more since it's off topic, but I just want someone who has always been an independent there because there's more than Democrats and Republican voices needed on the View.
