And if so, what is the storyline going to be? Morning sickness? An ultrasound? A baby shower?  Will we see her knitting booties? (Okay, well that shows my age) A gender reveal? Will that make people tune in?

Wait, I'm confused, do we want real storylines and to see what's really going on in these women's lives, or do we want fake manufactured storylines?

I do not want to watch bratty children or children pulled into the drama by their famewhore moms-OC is currently on overload on this and it is unwatchable. I don't want to watch pregnancies, medical procedures or, for the love of God, toenail clipping. I want to see lovely homes, clothing, trips, shopping I can both snark on and envy. I don't want to watch Teddi do anything, especially watching her preach about a proper pregnancy, or whatever crap the fake bitch will come up with, because pregnancy, unless it is yours or someone you love, is boring.

Someone on reddit had the funniest comment. "Accountabilibaby"

Shall we focus on Teddi's pregnancy and ignore the current lawsuits?

This made me laugh. We have some rah rah meetings at my work and part of it was pairing with an Accountabilibuddy.  Mmmmkay.

For me, it isn't that a pregnancy isn't interesting, nothing about Teddi is interesting.  Which is surprising.  She SHOULD be interesting based on her family but nah.

John's head looks normal in person.  He seems like a good guy, just a normal rock star living in rural Indiana....lol.  Actually like both him and Meg.  I don't like his kids that much.  I have a relative in law enforcement and his boys have been in more trouble than already reported.   John's dad is a hoot.  His head is normal too...lol

Bingo!  A pregnant moral compass doesn't sound like much fun to begin with, but her pregnancy (as a storyline) will likely push the whole show into perma-fakeland. All the real issues (the lawsuits, the lies) will be erased - poof!  - and we'll get a season-long baby parade, allowing cast members to be rehabilitated & softened. We'll get glowing talking heads as they remember their own pregnancies and birth stories, memories shared over saved baby clothes (and no hope of Kim Richards popping up and throwing a toy bunny stuffed with rotten eggs at them). Forget all the bullying and backstabbing, this pack of rabid hyenas are really just kindly Mamas! Blech.

That said, I can't wait to see Erika Jayne's new product ("Baby Cuntkins: it's a diaper and a napkin!")

Ugh please no to the baby parade!

This will be the first pregnant housewife on this show, right?

I like Teddi and am happy for her. I think it’s sweet how maternal she and Kyle and are.

That said, I have a lot of coworkers and acquaintances who are having children lately, and I get more than my share of pregnancy and baby talk.

I love seeing cute little ones like Dorit’s, but I’m not someone who romanticizes pregnancy, childbirth, and its aftermath. I know so many people who do this IRL, and it’s mega annoying. You’re not unique for having a kid. Childbirth doesn’t sound like some incredible thing I need to watch. It sounds like a horror show. Your breasts are not the first to produce milk, and I don’t need to hear about your kids’ poo either. TMI!

Doubt they will do this, since other HWs shows have had pregnant HWs and the drama continued...

Actually - if Teddi is pregnant - all of them will be much more sensitive.

I seem to recall, Teddi on her first season going to dinner at Dorit's (she served that bean dish that looked like upchuck) and PK and Dorit said Rinna was schizophrenic. Anyhow, I remember Teddi saying she had problems conceiving, had gone through many sessions of IVF, had multiple miscarriages before Cruz was born. I also remember her mentioning Cruz having a health issue - his baby heart? She told Dorit and PK, she and Edwin probably wouldn't have any more children because she didn't think she could handle going through the entire process again.

Is this ringing any bells for anyone else?

The good thing is Teddi won't be able to use being drunk to excuse bad behavior

I remember her saying that too.  That's why I think she waited until now to announce and it's why she's calling it a surprise. They probably didn't do anything to prevent pregnancy but considering how difficult her first two were, they weren't really expecting it.

I also remember her TH shot - she was crying. I think she had guilt over Cruz. She chose and Edwin chose to have a "boy" and she thinks that choice might have caused Cruz to have his heart issue/health issue - something was wrong at birth.

If that's the case, then you should be demanding texts/photos and proof that your "buddy" is keeping to the program, and you should be paid extra for that.

I wonder if Teddi is holding her brothers accountable for their bad behaviour?

IMO, Teddi is the most annoying/least entertaining housewife in housewife history. What has she brought to the show? One drunken night in France where she made an ass of herself. Her son having a temper tantrum. Teddi waiting around for Dorit. Seriously, she had a storyline about someone being late!

Crickets.

Hopefully this will be a much more pleasant experience for her and husband, and more risk-free for their next child.

I'm happy for Teddi, but between this and Kyle's fashion show it looks like it's really going to be a snoozefest. 💤  💤 💤 Guess I'm joining the rest of those who are down to RHNY.

https://www.bravotv.com/the-daily-dish/teddi-mellencamp-arroyave-pregnant-rhobh-plan-baby-shower

Erika Girardi told Us Weekly, "I am so excited to welcome the first baby of Beverly Hills. I’m loving watching Teddi’s journey and can’t wait to squeeze this little bundle of joy! I’m not sure if her baby shower can compete with Andy [Cohen’s] baby shower…. but we are certainly going to try!”

I think so - didn't she comment that this was a surprise baby? So no IVF and she doesn't know the sex of the baby

Good for her and her husband then.

I'm actually looking forward to it. HWs trips are always fun, and hey, NYC is a fun city.

I just listend to the one minute trailer. Oh, Teddi dear, just no.

What on earth made her think that this was a good idea? Apparently she doesn't have friends brave enough to tell her the truth. The not so glowing reviews so far:

It was pretty dumb of TPTB to think Teddi could carry her own podcast, but those 1-star reviews are ridiculous. They mention nothing about the actual show. They sound like a bunch of haters who never even bothered to listen to the show, just wanted to leave a negative review because they don’t like Teddi.

I guess it rubs me the wrong way because there are SO many places to legitimately express how much you dislike Teddi as a reality TV personality, businesswoman, human being, whatever. There’s no need to hijack her podcast reviews for that purpose. STAY ON TOPIC, DAMN IT.

Yeah, this is one of those places. I can understand following people you like and enjoy...but following people you dislike all over the internet just to post how much they suck? These people don't have a better use of their time?

No worries. Long after her stint on housewives, and once her TeaPod is forgotten (a week at best), she will always have that Big Foot Reenactor career. Not very lucrative, but she's so damn good at it.

Super bizarre. Of any RH she’s one of the last I’d turn to for celebrity news and discussions. Considering that her first podcast is about open marriages, swinging, and toe sucking... hard pass.

Yikes! That’s unfortunate.

In my world, this would mean one coworker covering for another (or business as usual). No one likes a snitch. My accountabilibuddy would go do her work while I did mine. A job well done speaks for itself.

Yeah we have not met once.  Our dept got combined with another and they are very rah rah.  I want to be left alone to work.

My guess is that someone /someones complained about fake and irrelevant reviews and Apple purged them. I’ve seen that happen on occasion... not really on Apple because I haven’t paid attention, but on sites like Sephora when reviews are centered on complaints about the company that don’t have to do with the product (e.g. people who give a product one star and rant about Kat Von D and  antivaxx, Nazi-sympathizing ways on her foundations and stuff).

Maybe Teddi can't elaborate because she's filed a lawsuit?  But I'm still very interested in knowing what happened.

I am sure she will hold LVP accountable.
