When Daphne asked what they enjoyed most about their honeymoon, I wish Ben had drawn a picture of two stick figures banging each other (with the girl on top) on a mini golf course.  Jim Bob's head would explode.

Switzerland, Rome and Australia were wasted on these kids.   All they cared about was "let's get physical...physical" and they would have been just as dreamy-eyed if their honeymoons had been at the Motel 6 in Hooterville.

When they were asked who hogs the covers in bed, Joy comfortably says,"Oh, he's a heater and I'm a heater..."  She said that as casually as someone who's been married for ten years instead of ten minutes.  If Jill had been there, she would have gasped and said,"Y'all sleep in the SAME BED?  I'm telling Pops!"

I know the Joy/Austin PDA wasn't the most appropriate thing, but I'm a little relieved she's so comfortable and happy. I was afraid she being dragged down the aisle against her will. I didn't watch the after show, but Austin seems like a decent guy and not as stiff as he came off in his first few appearances.

I can see why Jessa and Bin are getting on each other's last nerve. They're home all day in an overstuffed shoebox of a house with two babies. If that was my life, I'd be on a short fuse as well. I love my husband dearly, but I think there's something to be said for having a little breathing room. Of course, that occurs with most couples naturally because most couples work for a living. The Duggar couples have to be together 24/7 lest the men get defrauded by a woman on the street wearing sandals.

Joy is very, very 19 years old in that clip.  She is goofing around like a college/high school girl. They would be fine if they were hanging out with a couple of friends, watching TV, eating pizza and laughing. 

It's just absurd that she is ON TV DOING IT and has no clue that it's not appropriate.  The Duggar's image of modesty clashes with the image of Joy sitting on her husband's dick, with cameras rolling. 

The Duggars lack a lot of social skills and this is a perfect display of it. 

No one taught me, or any of us, not to sit on a man's dick or close to his dick in front of family with TV cameras rolling but somehow we all know instinctively that it's not a good way to sit.  

I'm not sure what to say about Austin.  There were two people involved in this crotch situation. Austin is older and should know better...he should've gently nudged Joy off his crotch and gotten into a more appropriate seated position. 

(not sure I've ever written the word "dick" on a public forum but this IS the Duggars and they bring out the modesty in all of us!)

Years ago, in front of all his kids and with the cameras rolling, JB was talking about how he and MEchelle were trying to have more kids but couldn't and he added, "we're sure having fun trying though" which I think ties into the whole "we're so holy and modest" theme where they really don't realize what is and isn't appropriate PDA behaviour outside of their cult/bubble/social group. Jim Bob is the ring leader with the inappropriate talk and actions (dry humping from behind?)  To me, Michelle often looks uncomfortable with Jim Bob's antics and tries to laugh it off but she does not think he is funny at all. I think she is slightly flattered but wishes he would cut it out in public. 

I grew up IFB (lite) and was IFB as an adult.  I have never ever seen such nonsense as Jim Bob.  He is like a horny goat 24/7 and he wants everyone to know that they are having wild, hot sex.  There is truly something wrong with Jim Bob's head.

I think it's hard to tell whether Jessa has self-esteem issues or not. What she definitely has, though, is fear -- of just about everything -- and it's perfectly clear where she gets it.

They've been raised in near-total isolation from anybody not just like them, and they've been raised to fear everybody and everything, see the entire outside world including normal stuff like school and jobs as critical threats to their chance for eternal life, and consider most people as the equivalent of devils trying to bring them down. Plus, they have almost no experience of anything that they don't do pretty much every single day and even less experience of doing anything when they're not in the middle of a huge Duggar-slime-mold-mass.

If there were ever a life that would turn you into a total control freak who's terrified of surprises, strangers and strangers getting the chance to look down on you, that life would be it.
