Apparently, Lynne Curtin is still married to whats-his-name, despite filing for divorce in 2012.  Neither of them made court appearances, so the Judge tossed out the case.

How the hell is he going to go after her for spousal support? Lol didnt he spend his entire time on the show wanting her to be a traditional housewife and now he wants to become a new-aged (ex)husband?

Also I think it is time to bring her back, at least as a Friend Of. I hated her at first but either the years have made me soft or something since I dont mind her as much as I used to.

Since 2012, the Bellinos (as @WireWrapnoted above, I'm pretty sure that chain of businesses is in Alexis's name) have opened three SkyZones. Jim formerly (maybe currently? I have no idea if he continued after the housing market went underwater) flipped houses and owned at least one pawn/jewelry loan shop. He also manufactured pool tables at one point. 

It's sad they didn't make it - whatever one thinks of their relationship paradigm, Alexis put her fair share of work into that union.

ETA: She seemed to have moved on from participating in full-time capacity during the Brooks debacle - it would have made sense from a production perspective to cast her in at least a FOH role since Vicki had no allies but she appeared genuinely content to just make occasional appearances on WWHL. 

But now that her personal circumstances have changed, perhaps she'd be open to returning.

Too bad about the divorce.

I liked her and wouldn't mind seeing her back. I never cared for her husband and I think it was hard for her to keep up with his shiftiness.. She could be annoying with her asset listing ways but it was nice to see someone committed to her faith and her family.  She didn't come off as bad as Lydia who was constantly sticking her nose in things that she wasn't a part of. 

Wasn't Alexis one the first to get an easy last season (after a very rough one) before saying goodbye.

This divorce truly shocked me.   I don’t agree with their approach to religion, but I genuinely liked Alexis.  I was 100% done with Gretchen when she turned on Alexis to buddy up to Tamara (and I am one of the few who actually likes Tamara).  Jim was a bit sketchy but I remember him simply exiting a party rather than take the bait in a fight with Tamara.  

I would definitely like to see Alexis again.  She was far more likeable than Lydia.

Agree on both counts.  I think Alexis would be more palatable without that dud.

Damn! I didn't see that one coming- no really! For some odd reason I follow Alexis on Instagram and from the 5 minutes a week I'm ever looking at Instagram I never would have guessed it. It mostly pictures of her and her kids and not many of her and Jim but that's the same story with my marriage. My husband is always at work when I'm doing anything picture worthy between 7am and 7pm with my kids. 

She is always posting pictures of these god awful huge flower arrangements that have been gifted to her by Jim.

I wouldn't mind seeing her back.

I think the spousal support request is a common box to check when someone files for divorce. When Alexis files her response, she will check that box, too. I don't think it necessarily means that he is broke. He also probably checked the box that he'd like her to pay his lawyer fees.

I was surprised at how grown her kids are now.. but than I remember it has been about 5 years or so since she was last on the show so I guess they're now pre-teen/teens now.  I view the selfie pic as the modern day declaration of independence.. maybe feeling free of control (Mariah Carey did that for a few years after her first divorce).  I think sometimes people go the other extreme after getting out of a controlling relationship/marriage and it's a way (not the healthiest way) to declare their freedom.

Meh.  Alexis has always been an empty head who talks Jesus out one side of her mouth, with Tits  dialed to 11 and on full  display.  Her whole identity is tied up in her physical appearance.  She’s vain and stupid.  I can take vain if there’s something else there, but she’s just void, IMO.  The sad thing is that she’s over the hill to shallow ass men who value the tits and ass buffet.

I have to say it's actually shocking to me how horrible things have gotten for these girls. The Curtin household seemed fucked up, sure, but not necessarily more fucked up than a lot of others in the Housewives universe. The Knickerbocker girls, for example, had a rebellious streak, but I don't think they ever reached the nadir of the Curtin girls. Alexa seemed so awkward and unsure of herself at the time. I mean, it's not just that she's an addict, its the pornography, the repeated arrests, etc. It really makes me wonder what kind of stuff was happening off camera that set them up for such dramatically disastrous lives.
