That’s what I meant - Anna is making the deposits,  but it’s all Boob’s money.

I wonder how much allowance she gets? Last we heard, she was also making lots of pricey video calls, too.

Are we just assuming Anna gets an allowance?  I kind of thought that she might be living off the property profits when they sold in the past few years prior to Sex Pest's arrest.   She obviously currently pays no rent or mortgage considering she's living at the TTH/Warehouse Annex.  I'll bet most of the meals her kids eat are at the TTH from the canned good pantry. So really her bills are probably cell phone (unless she's under a JB family plan), and gas for her SUV.  I'm sure the M kids wear hand me downs and also pinch from the TTH laundry closet.

She might be living off of that- but I can see JB giving her an allowance like he does Jana. 
 

Anna does need liquid funds for things like gas, toiletries, items for the kids etc. i doubt JB cares what kind of body wash she buys, so he probably doles out money to her to use as he sees fit, and her cell phone is likely on the family plan. The warehouse has utilities that must be paid.

Mackynzie is the only one who would benefit from TTH hand-me-downs and Anna generally dresses her kids better than the Lost Girls are dressed. I think she's a frugal used clothes shopper and her kids wear each other's hand-me-downs, but I don't think she's getting very many clothes from the TTH or her nieces/nephews.

They're also only living in a portion of the warehouse. Unless it's on its own meter, JB may be paying for the utilities.

But does Josh have any fans? Like fans/followers that send Jill happy mail? He's been off TV for years and barely present on Anna's IG, so I'm thinking he has few to none and none that will bother to find out the logistics of sending him a basket or money.

Many of the hardcore leghumpers that follow the Duggars on their Facebook page are still expressing their support for Josh. Some have come to their senses and given up on him, but too many still adore him. They fall into two categories: some insist that he was completely innocent of any wrongdoing and was framed by his family's enemies and some admit that he did download child porn, but they insist that since Jesus will forgive him anything, he shouldn't have to face any earthly punishment. I'm sure a few of them have been stupid enough to send him money along with letters of love and support. They'd probably be knitting him socks and baking angel food cakes for him if it were allowed.

Considering people on death row who are never getting out get fan mail, including LOVE LETTERS, never underestimate that there are people out there who send care packages people convicted of the same things as FF.   Even if they had never heard of FF before.

I doubt he's bartering snacks for protection right now. My understanding is he's basically in solitary since the jail doesn't have protective custody for sex offenders. At least that was reported when he was carted off, and it always was described as being until sentencing and he is actually transferred to the federal system.

I don't really think Josh is thinking about eating healthy in jail.   or even cares.   From what I understand he didn't care when he WASN'T in jail.

I'm pretty sure eating healthy in jail really isn't an option, so the Felon should be all set.

A lot of churches have the funds and other means to help those who need it. This can be money, but you can also think of goods, food and clothes that is either donated or bought new by the church. So it's my guess that part of what she needs for herself or the kids comes from the church and the generosity of its members. She quite possibly also qualifies for SNAP (former food stamps) now. 

I'm sure JB highly encourages every possible means available to her to keep her family going as it means less of a contribution from him. JB may be a jerk but I doubt he'll let his grandkids go hungry or walk around like tramps, so he'll do what he has to do. (Though possibly no more than that)

I thought the gift packages were limited to once a week? Even if they're not, Josh didn't seem to care that he was gaining weight before, I doubt that his health or physical appearance is going to be a major concern now.

I actually think JB loves Anna and I also got the impression she's around the house a lot and pitches in. I'm guessing she has a bank card and he transfers money into her account every month. Maybe less than she was accustomed to, but enough to keep things going.

What church does Anna attend?

We’ve discussed the possibility that Anna is receiving SNAP here before, but many think she may have too many assets to qualify. Not a home, but other properties or LLCs in her name.

WOACB says Anna and the Duggar siblings did not interact at the wedding, per her source who attended.  She said the source also said Anna did not look pregnant.

She also said Anna is not a friend of the bride's.  (Abby and Joy are.)  The speculation is that Anna was asked to be a bridesmaid possibly as a friendly gesture to make Anna feel included.

That’s an interesting thought… I just always assumed that any assets were held in the husband’s name since he is in total control and the wife has little or no say. On the other hand, a lot of married couples have no prenups and thus own things together.🤔

Is there any proof for properties she owns (with Josh)? There’s also the possibility that all properties are owned by JB or in a holding company that is controlled by JB? Doesn’t he dabble in real estate and lettings?

None of the Duggar sisters/ in-laws were. It was a very small bridal party, by fundie standards (four bridesmaids, all Hannah's sisters). The wedding the OP was referring to was a vow renewal for some other Duggar-adjacent fundie, where Joy, Abbie, and Anna were bridesmaids. There's a picture in the JD/Abbie thread.

Hannah doesn't have any sisters. Her bridal party was all friends.

Too many Hannahs! I was assuming @SMama was talking about Jeremiah and Hannah Wissmann, since that was the more recent wedding. If she meant Hannah Rebar and Anna's brother, that wedding party was bigger, but still no Anna (the only Duggar bridesmaids were Josie and Josiah's wife Lauren).

Believe it or not, in college I had a job analyzing menus for prisons to ensure they were meeting all nutritional requirements and providing a balanced diet.

I was paid 22 dollars an hour to read/screen mail for a Federal Medical Center in grad school.  The government was trying to entire people to work for the Justice department.  I avoided that department, but damn if I didn't end up in Federal law enforcement.

I believe right around the Ashley Madison scandal when it became PAINFULLY obvious even to the Duggars that Josh might be a financial liability, the LLCs were transferred solely to Anna's name.   Now whether these business have any value that would have to be declared to SNAP or not, and whether they ARE is a whole other matter.    

Just had a trial for contempt for failure to pay child support where the guy CLAIMED he was never asked what his mortgage was.   Which he pays out of his kids' trust fund (do not ask).   He also claimed he never was asked about whether he a trust or not.  He was testifying he was so broke he qualifed for SNAP.  The judge and I were a little surprised at his claim.

Wholesale Motor Cars was certainly transferred out of Josh's name at that time. It is held by an llc called Fivestone Group which is Travis Story and the Financial Service group that has been listed on Anna's llcs. It does have the the TTH address though.

Interestingly, Anna has been dissolving most of her llcs lately. At one point she had 7 or 8 and now has 2. One of the ones left was formed in 2015 and seems to own a vacant lot in Bella Vista that was purchased for $2,000. That one has Anna and the financial company listed. The other one left has Anna and Travis Story listed and was formed in 2020. I haven't found any property registered under that one yet.

Wanna bet every penny of that went to paying his lawyers?    Not sure how much was realized from the sale, but I bet they paid a lot for his lawyers.   JB would only pay so much from HIS assets.

I read something interesting in FJ today. I was shocked to learn Arkansas is one of only 2 states (PA) where a registered sex offender can’t reside in a home with homeschooled children. 

In the unlikely scenario that the FF gets ten years that leaves M7 still in school. I wonder how the not always above board Duggars will get around this restriction.

Easy, JB will provide a legal residence for the FF from his real estate holdings.  Anna's legal residence (and the legal residence of the remaining minor children) will be a different holding.  Anna will leave the minor children with their older siblings when she is not teaching them to be with her husband.

They'd probably just move Anna and any of her kids still in school to the Big House for the days that school is actually in session. If Smuggar only gets 6-8 years, Josie could still be in school, depending on when whoever is "teaching" these days decides to retire.

In a few years a lot of the Duggar grandkids will be school age. Right now it’s just Spurge and Izzy and of course the older M kids. Will Joy be homeschooling? It will be interesting to see where they all land. I can’t see Jessa homeschooling her kids as the size of her family increases. She can barely bother with just Spurge. But I’m guessing the TTH school won’t be closing anytime soon.

And Smuggar will be relegated to the warehouse as long as those kids are on the premesis. Although let's be honest, who would report him? Possibly Joy if she's sending her kids there? Upon reflection, I don't think Austin would tolerate their kids being anywhere near the proximity of the FF.
