And I'm really curious as to when the last time Vicki made a casserole for someone else, since she hasn't taken credit for any, and we've certainly never seen her make any.  Just a thought.

I can't read my phone either if I am in the passenger seat or back seat. I can read a quick text but not reply with great length.  I grew up with the map reading generation and I was of no help to read those things while the vehicle was moving. I have always felt like a damn freak because I see so many people that have no problems like this. I wish I was just more normal!  The dramamine does do the trick but you can't take that for a short hour long trip. I drive a lot.

Yup, SoCal beach-community attire by day vs by night is a reliable way to spot a tourist or new resident. As soon as the sun drops below the horizon the temp usually takes a dive (and if there's a coastal wind, ruh-roh...) The locals are all fine in their hooded sweatshirts, fleeces and jeans; the unknowing are usually in their daytime wear of shorts, tanks and flip flops, wrapping their arms around themselves and plaintively mumbling, "Isn't Southern California supposed to be warm...?"

I lived in Califirnia for several years. The beachs are beautiful. But that aren't all that warm even in the daytime. The water isn't all that comfortable to swim in either. At least that's my opinion.  But I grew up in the southeast. So I was accustomed to the beaches of Florida and the Alabama Gulf coast.

SoCal beach city resident here- the water is always freezing and it does get chilly and windy quite a bit at (& near) the beach. I didn't even give it a second thought when I saw the blankets. They made sense to me, good planning (and that's the only nice thing I'll say about Kelly).

When Vicki and Tamra were talking, the difference between their faces was striking.  Tamra has exquisite bone structure, made more remarkable next to Vickis long jawed potato face.   Why did she get that stupid chin implant?  It completely changed the shape of her face, and not for the better.  Vicki, the face was fine, it's the ugly inside you needed to work on.

I agree that Tamra has fabulous bone structure.  She really is a very pretty woman -- one of the best looking housewives across all franchises.  But her tacky persona and mean spirited remarks always take her looks down a notch for me.  I was watching some older seasons of RHOC yesterday -- I believe it was Season 4 the infamous "Naked Wasted" episode.  Vicki looked better before she had all that work done.  She actually looked much younger pre-work.

I think Vicki's nose job was needed and a good result.   The rest of the work didn't enhance the natural dimensions of her face.   All she really needs is good skincare and more subtle makeup.   Definitely the hair is so much better now. 

I also just realized this episode that even though Shannon has likely always had plenty of money, she dresses like she waits for sales at Ross and Marshalls.   Heather is the only one who understands how to dress herself.    However, Vicki often looks very nice in her work attire.

I find Brianna just as much as a drama queen and a martyr as Vickie. There is no way her pain was an 8-10 when she said that sipping her drink.  Maybe it was an 8-10 out of 20.  I think as a nurse she should be a bit more realistic about her own medical needs and not exaggerate.

I am sure there was a babysitter there off screen so I don't feel too bad for Brianna.  Maybe if she wasn't so much a Vickie jr I could sympathize more.

I know people with pizza ovens and they use them around once a week.  I am sure Heather's kids will eat pizza she just won't so the chef will probably use it more than once a year.

Brianna has always been seeking the spotlight.  She just doesn't get it, being interested in your mom's affairs does not make for a healthy human being.  It is amazing to me that Vicki even wants to go down the road of a sick relative after the brooks debacle.  Brinna and her kids should be near their father when she is sick.

I hope if Brianna is at the reunion this year, one of the women, especially if Brianna starts defending her horrid mother, reminds her they have been held captive on the couches while she goes after her mother and Brooks.  If she wants to be treated like a RH time for her to have some accountability.

Tamra really is gorgeous. It's her American Indian heritage that she can thank for that amazing bone structure. She's gorgeous. I like her much more now that she is with Eddie. She was so jealous of Gretchen initially, it really made her crazy. I don't think she is jealous of women like she used to be-- then again, Alexis and Lizzie aren't on anymore. 

I'd rather see Brianna than Brooks any day.

Look, Vicki's a textbook narcissist who makes her daughter's chronic health condition about herself, looks like a cement truck accident when she cries, and says awful, awful things like "chinka-chinka Chinaman."

BUT...And I know I'm in the minority here... *small voice*...I kind of enjoy watching her with Brianna and her grandkids.  I wouldn't want the whole show to be about that, mind you, but those are some of the few relationships on this show that are really "real."  We only see Heather and Shannon with their kids sporadically, Tamra's kids aren't on the show (and her relationship with Teeth, while evidently real in that it's lasted a few years, has always struck me as very showmancey), Megan has no kids and Jimmy is barely around, and everything about Kelly seems very manufactured.  Watching Vicki run around after her grandkids is sort of refreshing.  And, I don't know... I saw Brianna grow up on the show, and, yeah, she's a bit of an Eeyore, but I guess I'm invested.

I live in southern California- laguna niguel (between L.A. and San Diego) and it's hotter than a two peckered owl here in August,September and part of October.

In fact, it's hot here like RIGHT NOW! I'm forced to be in a BAR/restaurant so I can have properly made Margaritas to cool down.

(I also use this method to warm up in the cooler months too!)

But I'm not complaining. This part of the USA is so beautiful. I just ignore the plastic pretentious people that live here and revel in the beauty of all So Cal has.

I see hundreds of Vickie and Tamras every day. It's part of the geography. But lots of really nice people here.

I do hope what's her name Dodd and Meeghan go away forever. So ridiculous and fake. at least Vicki is real. Yes, very despicable, but at least real.

I agree that Tamra is a knockout, really pretty face and pretty figure too. I couldn't tell if she was really jealous of other hot women or played it up for the show. The two instances I thought Tamra seemed jealous were when she thought Eddie and Vicki were flirting and Eddie allegedly saying he'd either f or marry Lizzie during the game.
