Have you seen Meri’s outfits? They do not complement her—jackets that are too small, jeans that look painted on and tops that get wedged between fat rolls. It’s as if LLR wants women to look fat, frumpy and clashy. The only people who look good in those clothes are a size 2.

Meri still looks better than Robyn. I’ll die on that “heel”.

😂 To me they’re almost equal these days but Meri wins by a thread for me—I’ve always felt Meri had an unfortunate-looking face (which she must think also because she keeps filtering herself) and the shape of a penguin.

Robyn used to be very pretty but age, weight gain, laziness and stress have taken a toll (and who knows perhaps she has medical issues). Her hair is also a dull, flat shade that washes her out. Some highlights along with a lighter base color would really help Robyn—below, I gave her some highlights via a hair-color try on and it’s a side-by-side comparison:

Ok…the last names got me confused? I always thought Sullivan was her maiden name, but apparently not if he is her step dad?
When she was trying to sort out her financial mess, the accountant said that her having credit cards and debts under 3 different last names didn’t help. I assumed he referred to Sullivan, Jessop (her ex) and Brown. But she must have another then if Sullivan was her step dad’s? This woman sure has a complicated private life with all those names! Does anyone think they were all legally changed?

When a "fan" took those pics of Robyn and Kody in a mall in Sedona, Roby's hair was lighter, not in the tight ringlets, makeup done and she was dressed in more flattering clothes.   I think her look for the interview was on purpose to look dowdy, dated and more "poor me" .

You are so right about the photo snapped at the mall, that was "honeymoon Robyn" when she appeared vibrant and vivacious...the Robyn that Kody fell head over heels for.  You could be on to something, that she is trying to project an image and attempting to divert criticism that she has it all by appearing dowdy and dated.

Yea she does look much better in those pictures. I don’t understand why she felt the need to dull herself down for the one on one—Robyn can be pretty, she should own it versus that apparent make-under for the one on one.

I found one of the photos, here it is:

I remember reading that Marck was her bio dad's, Fullmer was her mom's maiden and Sullivan was the step dad's. If she opened accounts with any of those names, it would show up on her credit report on debts, even if she hadn't legally changed them. It was surprising to me, and I wondered if she was a con artist or something, but then I remembered the 'bleeding the beast' stuff they do.

(why, why do I have all this Brown trivia in my head but I can't remember where I put my keys?)

I think part of what we saw this season, besides the dowdy-on-purpose, was the difference between covid box dyeing and then finally getting to see her colorist again.

I noticed the difference in the video talking head (where she admitted to typhoid nanny) that her hair looked a lot better, and then again in the mall pictures.

Kody would look better with a shaved head.

I’d have “accidentally “ cut his hair the last time he slept at my house if I  were Christine, lol.

As for Robyn’s stepfather— his obituary stated that funeral services would be at an LDS church in St. George. I thought that Robyn’s family were AUB? Aren’t known polygamists excommunicated from the LDS church? I’m confused.

Also, if Robyn’s polygamist parents were living in Utah, why was she so afraid of and against moving back there?

So much of what the Browns (especially Kody) have tried to sell viewers about their lives and lifestyle has been a sham, filled with half-truths, spin, and rewritten history that I don’t know what to believe anymore 🤷‍♀️.

In the obit. it states "Paul is survived by Carol and Alice" It then goes on to list his children and grandchildren. So I assume that Carol and Alice sre his wives but it doesn't list them as wives. And his funeral was held at an LDS church. I thought that the LDS religion does not allow polygamy. So why was his funeral at an LDS church?

Re: Reva Alice Fullmer was married to a guy named Marck. Possibly Robert. Robyn is his child.  Idk if Sullivan adopted Robyn. I doubt it, because of secrecy of polygamy. Just me speculating, the secrecy could be because as a single mother, she collected benefits. I have never heard any mention of Alice working outside the home.

It’s been so long, was Robyn’s stepdad that guy who was on the show or was that her biological dad? Is her biological dad still alive and has she ever talked about him on the show?

The man on the show was her stepdad Paul Sullivan.

I don't think I've heard her say much about her biological dad.

Iirc, she said he had been there for her first 3.

I realize I'm old and all, but this is just so weird to my.  My dad would have gouged out his eyes with a spork before filming one of his daughter's giving birth, particularly from that angle (who are you going to show that to--talk about embarrassing your teenage kid's date with home videos!).  Granted, he was old-school, but my brother-in-law is new-school, and I think he'd do the same gouging.

My prediction for Robyn's version of the family story. After Janelle leaves, Meri will soon buckle under the pressure of being a receptacle of blame. Again.

Robyn will be left to fulfill all of Kody's needs. Being the sweet, obedient wife she is, she will promise Kody. She'll do it by photo.

I know we discussed the Browns financial situation and number of debts extensively somewhere on this forum. Today, I found the following (the article claimed to have taken the info out of court documents), which I thought was pretty interesting:

Kody and Robyn owe $548,250 as of November 24 2021, to Moria Development, DBA Peoples Mortgage

Kody and Robyn were given a loan in the amount of $130,000 by Alaska USA Federal Credit Union. (This document specifically stated that "Time was of essence" So they were probably facing urgent financial trouble?)

The maturity date on the flexible interest home equity loan is April 23, 2050, with TFC National Bank listed as the lender. (This may be the 150k loan)

IT comes from a newspaper that said it had had access to the court documents. These are only a few companies and I have a gut feeling there is way more if someone really did the research. There is the Coyote Pass mortgage of course and there are rumours that Janelle took out an 80k loan for the RV.

It baffles me to see how they have multiple huge loans/mortgages with different companies on one house. Where I live, that's downright impossible.  You don't fully own a house until the entire mortgage is repaid. If you fail to pay, the lender will seize the house which was collateral in the first place.

First, Second and even Third mortgages are not unheard of on a single piece of property.  In the case of default, the 1st mortgage takes precedence, so because they are higher risk, the 2nd and 3rd mortgages are usually at a much higher interest rate to compensate for the risk factor.

I believe Kody and Robyn purchased the Flagstaff property for $890,000.  Considering the way property values have soared since they purchased, it may be possible that it appraises now in the neighborhood of $1,500,000, giving them enough equity to warrant 3 mortgages totaling in the area of $830,000.

The "time is of the essence" clause is part of the fine print on every contract I have ever seen pertaining to real estate transactions.  It's a broad spectrum clause that simply means that certain functions must be performed by a certain date or the contract becomes null and void (ie: the funds must be available to the borrower by a certain date, and in the case of a purchase, the property must be vacated by the sellers and available to the purchasers on closing).

It would take a forensic accountant to figure out the complexities of the Brown's high finance, if I were them, I'd be walking around on knees made of jelly and my heart in my mouth.

Flexible interest? So again we don't know if this will become another balloon payment down the road. Also the 548K loan could be for the Coyote Pass properties, I doubt they are that low on the amount of the McMansion. I do wonder if that 130K was to buy Christine's lot from her?

Thank you Ginger. So, it's just under 15 acres. Are there any AZ realtors here that can weigh in on the value of that property? Does $820,000 seem excessive? They bought it in 2018 and paid cash. I also can't get over how every article I read about this land mentions "the pond," like it's a REAL pond or something. lol

  • Love 8

The sounds about right.  I don't know precisely where they are but undeveloped land ranges from 50 to upwards of 160K per acre in the Flagstaff area.

Unless the property is very remote land is not cheap, and even then it can still be cost prohibitive because remote land is usually still remote due to the difficulty of using it in any productive manner and frequently can barely be used for either livestock or crops so even primitive off-the-grid homesteaders have a significant challenge

The land does back onto state forest land, but except for spring runoff and the occasional rainstorm, looks parched. And the only vegetation seems to be pine forest that would make the soil very acidic. They'd need to buy topsoil and pay for irrigation to grow anything, even in Janelle's greenhouses.

If the rest of their land is as rocky as the few plots, like the surveyor mentioned, that will be expensive and difficult to deal with, too. I'm curious how they'll deal with septic systems if there's a lot of deep rock, too. Can public utilities like sewage even be pulled into that area?

I am also curious if they're only putting in the one big cistern. That won't be nearly enough for their proposed five homes, plus any irrigation. I sure hope there's more to it than we see, otherwise they're completely delusional.

I don't know if this is the correct area but it seems so due to its proximity to Flagstaff.  It looks pretty darned dismal to me, at least from a aerial view.  I pulled it from Google Earth.  The only "pond" I see is the one in the bottom left area and that's right near an existing home.  Zooming in it looks very barren with none of the existing homes having trees or anything.  I'm guessing water is either scarce or hard to come by.

But I may have a totally wrong area.

None of these observations mean the property is not worth the ~$54K/ac  Additionally, we have no idea what the ground water situation actually is.   Just because it is not visible from the surface or that there is little shallow root vegetation means little.  We do not know what time of year these aerial shots were taken nor do we know if the land has already been slated for municipal services and utilities.  There is a LOT that goes into the valuation of undeveloped land.  The fact that these lots were already surveyed, deeded, and are part of a larger community would suggest there is more to the land than the visuals would imply.

Usually when I see something like this, that area looks like it would be prone to floods or its a old river bed that has since dried up. You get a good monsoon rain and I don't know what the results could be. Now I am no geographer, but I do live in AZ

Exactly, if you ever watched a show called Railroad Alaska, they mentioned that it could cost upwards of 100K to run utilities from the road to a home less than a mile from a main road, granted Alaska is expensive to begin, but your talking 4 houses and thats just electricity, not plumbing or sewage/pipes

Right, the only reason Flag was ever a consideration was because of Robyn's kid D'yun, we heard them talk about moving to Y-oming, Montana and even Utah, Flagstaff was never a blip until he was going to school there and Robyn doesn't want to ween any of her kids off her teet, hence the demand for her 6 bedroom rennal
