Thumper March 5, 2018 Share March 5, 2018 I don't watch Kimmel's show, but I admire him for speaking up about healthcare. I think he does a good job hosting, with a few exceptions(that weird thing with the tourists last year). He seems like a good guy. 8 Link to comment
ABay March 5, 2018 Share March 5, 2018 I'm torn on Kimmel. On the one hand, I remember the Man Show, so a lot of this monologue feels a little hypocritical. On the other hand, that was many years ago and people can mature, and I admire his speaking out re: healthcare. 7 Link to comment

scarynikki12 March 5, 2018 Share March 5, 2018 Since the acting categories are so predictable I’m glad they’re including the montage of past winners to lead in. Makes it a bit more interesting. 2 Link to comment

Neeners March 5, 2018 Share March 5, 2018 Richard Jenkins, for me, was one of the few bright spots in that movie. 2 Link to comment

Fostersmom March 5, 2018 Share March 5, 2018 Viola'a look is somehow really aging her. This is weird since she's dressed like a 13 year old's dream pretend look. 3 Link to comment

aradia22 March 5, 2018 Share March 5, 2018 Normally I would not be as charitable to Lesley Manville but considering she's nominated for Phantom Thread, I like the dress. I like all the little strips of fabric and the soft tulle/organza (?) wrapping around her arms. It's a subtle way of showing the work and the movement and texture you can create with fabric without being an exposed corset or a ton of pleats/ruching/draping. She's glowing in the picture I'm looking at but otherwise I hold to my confusion on white actresses wearing pale colors that wash them out. Link to comment
Calvada March 5, 2018 Share March 5, 2018 I don't think Sam is getting the jet ski. 3 Link to comment
Amethyst March 5, 2018 Share March 5, 2018 It’s funny if the winners actually keep their speeches short so they can win the jet ski. 3 Link to comment
