I thought it was nice that Kim, her ex and the exes second wife all got along on the daughters wedding day. And her daughter looked beautiful and the guy she married was cute and looked so in love and happy. I liked his name too...Thayer.

I can't believe, well, yes I can, that Lisa had the hired help Rosario sit at the dinner table with them and then kicked her out when they started their smut talking. And she had seated Rosario next to Giggy! Oh yeah, you really treat her like family (sarcastic).

So, Lisa V. has an actual SWAN that just swims around in the water next to her front door?  That is some next level shit.  Everything about her exit from Villa Rosa to go to Palm Springs just screamed, "You will never, ever be this rich!!!!"

So we are 5 episodes in and save for her one lunch with Lisa R, I don't think Eileen hasn't filmed with any other cast members. 

 

I realize that filming is not in the order of when events took place, but it was a little disconcerting to see Yo distraught on the boat, waiting to get home, then her very next scene is all cheery bringing a picnic lunch to her king. 

 

I was actually relieved the cameras weren't  there for the whole wedding. 

 

I thought Lisa's Palm Springs dinner with her gays was kind of boring. Her event planner Kevin? is so surgically altered he barely looks human. Max looked totally bored. Lisa's outfit looked awful on her. 

 

Best parts of the episode- Almost no Brandi and Lisa's swan biting Ken. 

 

 

I can't believe, well, yes I can, that Lisa had the hired help Rosario sit at the dinner table with them and then kicked her out when they started their smut talking. And she had seated Rosario next to Giggy! Oh yeah, you really treat her like family (sarcastic).

 

Methinks Lisa has gotten wind of the critical comments about how she treats her help. I think this was her attempt to show that she really does treat them well. It was a fail.

Bah humbug.  I was mainly irritated through this episode.  LOL.

Things that annoyed me:  Kim's voice.  That whispery, gravelly quality.  She turns it on and off.  Annoying.

 

Kyle pretending that she hadn't thought about what she was going to wear to the wedding until right before they left.  Her stupid Chanel doggy bowl.

 

Eileen's niece.  She's apparently been bit by the family acting bug. Hard. 

 

I like the Lisa's together but I'm really over all of Lisa's sex innuendos.  Just stop, Lisa. 

 

Yogi's pick-in-ick basket.  I mean, Yolanda's picnic basket.  Nothing will convince me that she uses that basket on the regular.  I bought that exact same one at Bed, Bath and Beyond with a coupon and it fell apart after the 2nd use.  I'm pretty sure production picked up that prop for the scene and it ended up in the dumpster behind the King's studio before day's end.

The only thing I can think is because Max is still young. The younger the person is, the more the age difference matters/seems. But, Max is over 20, not 16. And, isn't Ken much older than Lisa? It does raise questions about Lisa's views on gender roles, which I agree is odd juxtaposed with her LGBT involvement and support. But, I don't know if there's any other concern Lisa has about the age difference. She didn't say what the woman does for a living or if she's a bad influence, so I'm assuming there isn't another red flag. Maybe we'll hear more details later.

I liked Lisa's honesty about her and Ken's misgivings of their 22 years old dating someone a decade older. If she were as calculating as she is accused of being, she wouldn't have been so forthcoming. Somehow, if the gender were reversed, Ken and Lisa won't be judged as harshly.

 

I loved everything about Kim this episode and I don't quit like her. I cried when she was choked about Kimberly being the first time she cried tears of joy. For someone who was a child star, I found that to be profoundly sad. She should have had tears of joy moments before she had her daughter.

 

I have enjoyed Kyle and her family's trip. It made me very envious but I'll settle with living viciously through them. I don't understand who these people spend so much money on their pets. A Chanel bowl for your dog? Come on. I thought it a bit strange they didn't know the dress code of the wedding. I thought Kyle was part of the preparation than it seems.

 

Yolanda is the worst kind of fangirl there is. It is creepy for such a grown woman like her to cheer and "yay" like she belongs on tumblr.

 

Loving Eileen and Lisa. The two Lisa's can seep tea all episode long and I'll be quite happy.

I can kind of understand why Lisa would be upset, because who knows?  Max seems somewhat socially awkward, whenever we've seen him, and maybe Lisa fears that this woman is taking advantage of him, thinking that he is the rich boy son of Lisa and Ken?  I know that Max is working at one of the restaurants, but there is still the possibility.

But, the thing I couldn' figure out is that why should it bother Lisa so much, when Ken's son (Lisa's stepson) also has a wife who is much older than he is, and Lisa seemed to be accepting and very friendly with her, when we saw them on the show.

I totally didn't understand why Kyle and Mauricio did not know what the "dress code" for the wedding was.  And, Mauricio seemed slightly annoyed that he would have to wear a tie to a formal wedding - not sure about California and Beverly Hills, but unless it is a beach or backyard wedding, here in NJ, all the men guests are in suits and ties, or dress shirt, tie and blazer/sport coat.

Kim looked beautiful, but Kyle's dress looked kind of casual for the event - I've seen her look more dressed up for lunch or dinner with the ladies.

Also, looked to me like they returned from Spain on another private plane - when the valet was escorting them to their limo, that didn't look like a regular exit from an international airport. 

Woo-hoo....hardly any Brandi!!  And, what little we did see, she again showed how irresponsible she is - her producer tells her to make her pod-cast more family friendly to keep and entice advertisers and what does she do?  She starts "effing" every other word - nice way to keep your day job!!

So Eileen is actually doing a 'fabulous life of Eileen Davidson' web series that is airing as part of RHOBH but is not actually a RHOBH cast member.  Five episodes in with no cast interaction (and Lisa R. introduces her lunch does not count) is bizarre.

 

I'm shamed but I must admit it.  Y&R BTS is a total letdown.  I dusted decades old memory of soap opera gossip and read three wiki pages and I know that the producers missed three golden opportunities:

And we know the editing monkeys were at work here, because they love this stuff: The scene went from Lisa saying she's been "reticent in accepting" the gf (key words "reticent" and "accepting") because of the age difference, to her saying to her gay friends at the table that "so many parents need to be persuaded to love their children unequivocally" in relation to gay acceptance. It was the very next sentence out of her mouth! Or if it was edited, at least it was during the same conversation.

I just did a little Googling and found out that Ken's son, Warren, married Lisa's friend who was 16 years older.  I couldn't find out exactly when they were married but he was 23 when they had their son.  It seems to have worked out for them - as they are still together - but I think the odds aren't generally great in that scenario.

I noticed some editing hijinks tonight.  Porsha wanted her hair in a bun prior to getting in the limo to Brooke's wedding, yet we saw footage of the wedding with her hair down?   And Kyle's hair was curled fantastically well while running around prepping her girls, yet was barely wavy at the actual wedding.  What the heck??

No, Andy said Kim couldn't show up cuz she got another job.  He said he was gonna show a clip of her explaining, but I didn't see dat.  He said Vicks happened to be in town, so he asked her on at the very last minute.  Believe it or not, this turned out to be kind of a fun one.  Beth Stern is rather sweet & Vicks was kinda funny.  Honestly, I think I was more entertained by WWHL than I was of this boring ep of BH.  I know -- color me surprised.

The most exciting part of the episode was the swan.

 

I have no idea who the three guys were that ate dinner with Lisa VP, Rocio, Lisa R, and Ken in Palm Springs. I assume they were just random friends of Lisa VP? Another awkward dinner with stale innuendo. The only interesting part was learning of Max's girlfriend (shades of Ryan/Tamara on the OC? Another recycled storyline?). Rocio looked uncomfortable the whole time.

 

As for the star ceremony, Lisa looked genuinely touched, which I thought was nice. I believe (not sure) that Lance Bass is one of Andy's friends, so he will probably appear on all of these shows eventually!

 

Another nice moment- Brooke's husband's* smile during the wedding. Melted my heart! Though I laughed way too hard at Kathy' Hilton's bitchface monotone comment. This is who Kate from Below Deck wishes she could be.

 

I don't remember anything else from the episode, aside from the dog bowl- which I hope was a freebie sent to Kyle so she would show it on camera. The episode was pretty boring. I enjoy it when all of the women get together in a group for an event. I think it would be fun to see another party with the whole cast and various friends of/ ex-howifes/ ho-husbands together. Hopefully we won't have to wait until the finale to see that again.

"That CBS smell." from Eileen's son. I laughed, because I know what he's talking about. I went to see the Price Is Right several times, and the studio has this funky smell. Sort of a combo of rubber and carpet with stale food thrown in now and then.

The overhead shot of the fanned out streets in Beverly Hills brought back memories of trying to navigate that intersection and not get killed.

I actually think Ken and Lisa are out of touch enough to believe that letting the help sit by the dog at the dinner table, before dismissing her to the kitchen, is treating staff well.  Has Rocio been demoted to that second house?  I'm sure it's no punishment.  Speaking of treating help - Lisa couldn't carry her own fucking drink to her own bedroom?  She had a purse in one hand, and after setting Giggy down, had the other hand free. That's how you put the help in their place.  And Lisa - if you want your help to understand your commands, try paying them a bit more so you can hire someone with a better command of English.

I have never taken such a quick and instant dislike to a character on this show, than I have to Someone-Marie.  Full stage makeup and hair, along with cocktail party red dress.  Yes, I totally believe she was there playing video games with her cousin.

King David seemed more irritated he had to do something other than his music when Bella had her DUI.  This guy is all about himself and doesn't seem to have an empathetic bone in his body.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who is slightly nauseated by the whole Lisa/Giggy thing. Giggy is a dog, he has legs, exercise is good for dogs, carrying around a dog all the time instead of having him walk is not good for his overall health. I get that he has a skin condition, many hairless dogs wear coats and sweaters in the cold, but they live in freaking SoCal and they were in Palm Springs, and Lisa kept talking about how hot it was. Why does he need to wear those ridiculous outfits? 

 

Both Kyle and Kim (not sure about Kathy)  got married and had a child very young. Is that a page out of the Big Kathy playbook for landing a rich man? You get married and produce a child immediately to ensure at least an 18 year income stream?

 

And as many props as I gave to Yo last week for being upfront about the DUI, I take a bit back this week when she was describing Bella's "mistake", by saying she had a glass of wine and make a bad choice. Oh plueezze. It take more than a glass of wine to blow a .08. She tried to make it sound like Bella was at some kind of stylish cocktail party and had one sip of fine wine. Reality is that most teens don;t drink wine, unless its the sweet jug type, most drink beer and shots. And the get together was most likely a big party with alcohol flowing. I can guarantee she ddn't drink ONE glass of wine

I have enjoyed Kyle and her family's trip. It made me very envious but I'll settle with living viciously through them. I don't understand who these people spend so much money on their pets. A Chanel bowl for your dog? Come on. I thought it a bit strange they didn't know the dress code of the wedding. I thought Kyle was part of the preparation than it seems.

 

I think that the wedding had been unexpectedly moved up so that Monty could walk Brooke down the aisle.  For that reason, some of the original plans were changed (wasn't it a beach wedding when she tried on the dress?) and it may have become more casual.

Different every time as in different Location!

From what I recall - she blew a .14! Which then hearing her say "ooh she went to a friend's house, it's summer that' what they do" blah blah I'm thinking - it wasn't ONE glass honey!

 

In the first look when David said "it was a tragic mistake" I laughed and thought "You're LUCKY it wasn't tragic" - and then in the actual episode he corrected him self and said it COULD have been tragic.

 

I couldn't believe how young Kim looked in her wedding pictures and when she had Brooke.   

 

Not a bad episode overall - I zone out Brandi because she is sosososososososo irelevant.  Go away Brandi.
