I was like "WTF" Brandi??? The more Brandi talks about how EVERYTHING nasty or bad she has done is all Lisa's fault, the more idiotic she sounds. I hope we don't have to hear this every week..."Well, Lisa was the one who told me I should drop the bombshell about your surrogacies"..."Lisa made me have a fight with you at Mauricio's party"....Lisa this, Lisa that. Who IS Lisa, anyway - the Wizard of Oz? Or, did she cast a spell on Brandi to force her to do everything that Brandi is now ashamed of (Maybe Lisa took some "witch" lessons from Carlton)? Next thing you know, somehow, it will be Lisa's fault or doing that caused Eddie to leave Brandi for Leann Rimes!! Edited November 26, 2014 by njbchlover 10 Link to comment

charming November 26, 2014 Share November 26, 2014 Brandi doesn't belong on this show and Bravo needs to stop making her happen. I don't care about her newfound "happiness" or her problems with a guy who wouldn't claim her. I'm not interested to hear her non apology to Adrienne. Nor her woe is me that Lisa Vanderpump has been cool to her after their "miniscule" problem. Brandi has gone on vicious tirades against so many different people on the show, off the show and on social media. She can't blame Lisa for everything! Sorry honey, you've played that card ad nauseum. You're a 40+ year old grown ass woman with a trail of bodies in your wake. Stop acting as if you can hurl the most vile insults at someone, say you're sorry and all will be forgiven. It won't happen. Loved Lisa's closet and her shopping with Shiva. I wonder what Shiva's story is. They should have officially cast her as FOH, leaving out Kim. 15 Link to comment

The only part that wasn't boring for me was seeing Mo's house again. Oh and the bling that Mo's concubine (er, fiance?) & Lisa were lookin' at. I'm still convinced Mo is a billionaire, but some posters in the thread for the last ep were oh-so-confidently & strenuously disagreeing with that. None of them convinced me he ain't a billionaire, but I really wish they could tell us how Mo could afford dat house & the concubine's bling & not be a billionaire. That's a useful tip I'd like to know. Is Mo fakin' it? Pretty good fakeout, if he is. More convincing than Dana or Tay-Tay & their fakery, eh? Kyle & Mauricio in Tahoe was a bore. I think the whole point of dat was to show us Mauricio could afford to hire a private jet. Now wait a minute, did he say he hired the private jet or he owned it? I got the impression he was implying he owned it, when he probably had only leased it. Ugh, these 2 are starting to rub me the wrong way again. I'm starting to remember why I loathed Mauricio so much in the past. His slick phony crap routine is coming back to me. I have little patience for the bullshit nonsense from either of these 2. And they're both basically extremely boring. Portia is still very cute, but she is turning into one spoiled little brat, despite Kyle's non-stop denials of that happening. charming November 26, 2014 Share November 26, 2014 (edited) Yolanda's scenes bothered me. She's desperately trying to put on a show that her marriage is perfect. If you have to try that hard it's probably to overcompensate. When she was calling herself fat for not being able to button her jeans it just spoke volumes about her true nature and values. All that worrying, fasting, cleansing, tucking, pulling and plastic surgery- David's probably been cheating all along while on his month long business trips anyway. It's no better when women sexually harass men. I suspect this is Satan Andy's way of thinking -- that he probably thinks it's adorable & cute when women are the ones doing the sexual harassment. No, Satan Andy, get it thru your fuckin' evil ass head, sexual harassment ain't cute no matter who does it. Please don't do this sleazy shit again in any of your crap shows. What does everyone really want when viewing a housewife show? I actually enjoyed tonight's show. I enjoy seeing the housewives doing fun things, either with each other or with their families. Tonight's episode reminded me of the earlier seasons of the RH franchises -- "a look behind the gates", if you will (remember that from Season One of RHOC?). I prefer these type of shows, with maybe just a touch of typical gossiping and petty bitchiness that occurs in everyone's life. :-) Although, I didn't really need to see Yolanda greeting "her king" in the skimpy lingerie, black apron and stilettos!! 11 Link to comment

Somewhere along the way these shows got all about negative drama and fighting, might have started with New Jersey. 7 Link to comment

What does everyone really want when viewing a housewife show? The problem I have with the "friendship" scenes are simple, I don't like Kim & Yolanda. Nor do I care about Kim & Brandi. I simply don't like their personalities and their scenes are staged/fake/not entertaining. I don't complain about bickering as long as I understand what the issue is and it feels genuine. Season 1 had classic bitchy fighting that can probably never be topped. That's what I liked about the show. There was real wealth and glam with a wicked underside. Camille vs. Kyle vs Allison vs MC Faye. Some complain about Kyle and Kim being on the show but their emotions/fights felt real. You could invest in them. It's also important to me that people that I don't "like" get theirs. Lol, immature but true. Adrienne should have read Brandi for filth but no she was practically mute. Joyce was the only person willing to stand up against Brandi and she was fired. It's frustrating to watch everyone make excuses for her and I'm supposed to love her wacky hijinks with her BFF Kim. Ugh, next scene please. The same reason NJ was difficult for me to watch because it seems like Bravo wants me to sympathize with Teresa and I refuse. 6 Link to comment

lunastartron November 26, 2014 Share November 26, 2014 (edited) Damn, production is really making this as painful as possible for the Eileen fans. I might be out in any case if Brandi is featured this extensively in every episode. Hasn't she proudly written about contracting STDs in the past, or am I just imagining that? The film crew needs to clue in any men, young or old, who might be tempted by the prospect of a hit and quit. Although Miami is the only cast that appears to demonstrate any literacy vis-à-vis gender equality, I really don't need to watch Yolanda shuffle around in the kitchen wearing a negligee like some female sex-kitten version of senile Ken; I don't know what was more disgusting, the big heaping of retrograde gender politics or Yo's leathery hide. Brandi is literally stomach-turning. A sixtysomething (to borrow her own creative arithmetic) literally stalking a dude who's told her he's in love with another woman is not cute or zany, it's fucking creepy and pathetic. vrocotamy November 26, 2014 Share November 26, 2014 (edited) Does anyone else feel like when Kyle is wishing and praying that Portia doesn't turn into a spoiled brat, she has the cautionary tale of her lovely niece Paris Hilton in the back of her mind? This episode made me not want to watch this season. The "sincerity" of Brandi's apology to Adrienne (and her declaring that she's really a good human being, shifting the blame to Lisa, and expecting an apology from Adrienne!) were laughable. If this were not a TV show, the conversation would never have happened. The women need to ban "moving forward" from their vocabulary, since no one ever moves forward. Kim definitely gave up a bit more of herself this episode (she talked about her mother catching third husband Jack Catain cheating with another woman, which is mentioned in House of Hilton, and the horse story she recounted to Pam/Dana while quite intoxicated in Season 2), which I like as a resilient Kim fan - but I don't like the friendship with Brandi. Kim's acting has been on-point thus far (one feels that she's referencing her '70s sitcom acting experience while dressing up with Brandi), but the Brandi connection has made me lose a lot of my affection for Kim. Let's see how long it lasts. I'm frustrated with Lisa (as well as Brandi) being able to claim victim-hood, but it seems like Lisa has a redemption arc this season. My theory is that Bravo was worried loyal Lisa fans were scared away by all the "darkness" and drama around her last season. They're definitely pushing forward her wealth and Dynasty-era glamor, since those are popular and were not foregrounded last season. I'm very tired of Yolanda. Yes, her house is beautiful and so is she, but I don't find her retrograde gender politics at all amusing. It isn't helped by forced scenes like serving her husband dinner in lingerie. I think she was hired for this show with hopes that her husband's entertainment industry connections would bear fruit, but Celine Dion and Barbra Streisand are never appearing on a Bravo show. In spite of all of Yolanda's condescension and superiority (more implicit than explicit in this episode), I think she's as camera-hungry as the rest of them. Give it time. Andy's latched on to these people, he won't let go. I'm confident we'll see this at some point in the future, when the Housewives shows are dead and Andy is at some other network pitching them entertaining garbage. What does everyone really want when viewing a housewife show? I like a balance between the fighting and the fun. I'll give it to this episode in that they didn't force the HW's to hang out together. Kim and Yolanda seemed to be for TV, but they didn't drag in Brandi or whoever else. Kim and Brandi seemed authentic enough (except for Kim's clunky, "I'll help you unpack. Speaking of your ex-boyfriend..." Which- wasn't he not really her boyfriend last season? I thought Brandi's apology to Adrienne was authentic, and I didn't see her as blaming Lisa- just noting that she may have gotten caught up in friend's feud. Mostly though I'm hoping we can move forward now (is there some trend out there popularizing this phrase? I've not heard it so much in my life!). Maybe show them in their relationships instead of just watching them talk about them and tossing in the occasional flashback. And I need Eileen. Loved her on Days back in the day, I'm curious to see what she's actually like (and hopeful she'll be revealed as a super-smart stealth bitch at some point). I love Lisa. Last season she and Ken got some flack for comments about Rocio as they donated clothes. This season she found a poor woman walking along a hill, offered to help her, and then saved her from unemployment. So when she requests tea it's all good because one good turn deserves another, as she says. I wish she'd found a whole family, though, and had them live in her pool house or something. Just go all-out with it, y'know? 4 Link to comment
MatildaMoody November 26, 2014 Share November 26, 2014 Did anyone else notice the way David told that story about Yolanda in the trench coat with the red lingerie underneath? He was like if anyone had seen that they would have thought you were a hooker. And, I got the sense that he was trying to tell her something. Because she said that no one would see because it was just for him. Only now an entire camera crew and the viewing audience saw the lingerie this time around. Was David insinuating that the people watching the show might think Yo was a hooker? Was he possibly trying to suggest that his wife was being inappropriate on camera? Maybe I read too much into that scene, but he definitely did not look comfortable. 10 Link to comment
heebiejeebie November 26, 2014 Share November 26, 2014 Wow. Can Yolanda and David not act. Like at all. What a painful scene they contrived. And neither should think a career behind the cameras in in their future. They didn't even pretend to eat as David plucked full plates to take back downstairs when they were "done". What an awkward couple. And David? Learn a lesson many old men are going to have to sooner or later. Heck Tom Cruise hasn't yet. Stop spot adjusting your face. You think because you don't have a whole lift the tweaking isn't noticeable and we just think how great you look? Because getting that lower lid lift and implants that look like the ones Yolanda traded out for an upgrade just made you look like Jose Canseco and the Trivago guy somehow bred. Surely having people ask you 'how many bees stung you?!" should be a hint. Kyle? Many things I do not like about you. Child rearing never seemed one of them. Watch these episodes closely. Grow some self-awareness. Look at your sister. Do you really want to nurture your very own enfant terrible? Forget the dumbasses on social media that gush about Portia and realize you are the one who will have to clean up the mess if you don't adjust that child's entitlement that is creeping, no bursting, out the seams already. Lisa. Oh Lisa. Mohammed went through you to Shiva awithout you even realizing it. He's been "going through" you so much in terms of his little hootchie whos I'm thinking that walk of your's might be due something else. Ken in his jeans. I'm guessing he thinks if his picture is in every dictionary next to the entry for "Old Fart" he'll get some kind of residual? Because damn. I get he is all creaky but he and Lisa both seem to be white knuckling their teenage years with the clothes. And I'm not sure showing off the fact you have those Miss Kitty blouses designed for you, Lisa. Does she think there is some kind of Collins' sister money she can squeeze in on? Because if she is starting to look like Joan and Jackie's not so much younger long lost sister. The fact she is not Ken's contemporary simply stuns me this season. Brandi and Kim. No words. Except no more. This was like watching a montage of Keeping up with the Kardashian promos. if this is the type of "storyline" the show is going for added to the inclusion of Rinna and Davidson (who already know the value of a cheesey over worked scene) , the heavy handed (and incredibly dull and vapid) self-contrived Lisa and Yolanda scenes, I'm guessing somewhere the fork to stick in this franchise is being polished. And I only remember Rinna's bad reality show through The Soup and that show on VH1. But I'm pretty sure they worked the whole house is haunted thing to death already. Two episodes in and Rinna is already working my nerve with how eager she is for this. I'm guessing if she hadn't been cast she would have worn all yellow and dangled from one of Yolanda's trees. Or just stalked Mohammed. 16 Link to comment
Shelby November 26, 2014 Share November 26, 2014 David came off as an older gay gentleman in this episode. That, or he and Yolanda have a platonic, roomate-style marriage. He walks in the door to have his wife greet him in sexy black lingerie, and she doesn't even get a kiss? Just a shy giggle, and "I don't know what to say." I've been married 18 years, much longer than them, and if I greet my husband in lingerie, we are not just sitting down to dinner as usual. No red-blooded, straight man would sit down and eat his dinner and chat about the day sitting across from a half naked woman in black lace. Their whole marriage seems phony. I'm sick of having Yolanda force upon us how perfect everything is. 12 Link to comment

cooksdelight November 26, 2014 Share November 26, 2014 Previously, Kyle had reservations about putting Portia on the show a lot, yet now it seems that "trying to rein in the spoiled brat" is her storyline for this season. Portia has grown up in front of the cameras, for 5 seasons now. Just like Kim. But fortunately, "reality" shows hadn't been invented yet when Kim was young or she'd probably be in much worse shape at this stage than she is. I have always had a problem with a parent using their children for their own TV fame. It makes being a stage mother pale in comparison to what I see Kyle doing with Portia. 12 Link to comment

If he is as successful and busy as we think what good can come of this? I don't think his face looks bad at all. I like her hair. It is so thin that this is the best way to style it, the extensions looked terrible. Faking that dinner was a bad choice Bravo. If you want to pull that off at least remove the food from the plates when they "finish eating!" Their marriage seems like one of convenience. He needs a wife to run the home front and she needs to be supported and play house. I gathered he is rarely home given Yo's comment about it being difficult to find time together. Andrianne's face resembles someone so heavy their cheeks squish their eyes from bloat. The hair stylist on the set dropped the ball, the back of her head looked matted. I love Brandi! They are told what to talk about so all this nonsense of clearing the air from last season was staged, clearly. We are done with that Bravo, start something else. Rosebud1970 November 26, 2014 Share November 26, 2014 The Rive Gauche (where Brandi and Adrienne had the reconciliation meeting) is in Sherman Oaks. That's in the Valley, yo. How déclassé. Also, a bit before the show premiered, I saw Lisa Rinna at the H&M at the Fashion Square mall, also in Sherman Oaks. She was totally dressed down and by herself. 4 Link to comment

quinn November 26, 2014 Share November 26, 2014 (edited) Are we on Mohammed's 5th child-bride fiancé? I feel like there's a new one every season. And there's Lisa suckin' up to every fuckin' one of 'em. Yeah, yeah, sure, sure, Mo ain't a billionaire & they ain't all suckin' up to him -- er, except they all do. Btw, is Mo's place the size of the Palace of Versailles or Central Park? I mean shit, maybe I'm alone here, but I fuckin' gasp every time they show dat place. It looks freakin' ginormous!!I am not seeing anyone suck up to Mohammed other than Lisa, and with Lisa it's mutual sucking up because he sucks up to her to get air time. I felt bad for him last season when Joyce could not say "oh hell no" fast enough when someone teased that she was one of his conquests. To me if Mohammed is not a billionaire, he's a hundred-millionaire, which probably means that a lot of people's first inclination will be to be nice to him. He is also generous and when Mohammed comes into the room he is very warm, effusive and complimentary. It's not like these shallow and oft-times bitchy people are being super-nice to some stinky, grumpy guy, they are being nice to a very rich guy who is very nice to them, comes to their events, and is willing to hold filmed events in his fabulous home. MyAimIsTrue November 26, 2014 Share November 26, 2014 I only caught the end of the episode and was so distracted by how horrible the back of Adrienne's hair looked that I couldn't focus on whatever the hell Brandi was babbling about. 4 Link to comment
zoeysmom November 26, 2014 Share November 26, 2014 Wasn't J.R. the guy Brandi dumped over lunch one time? Is stalking him the best idea for a storyline she can come up with? Yes, JR is the one Brandi dumped over lunch. During her relationship with JR, a proud graduate of the affluent Harvard-Westlake prep school was unwilling to include Brandi in some of his social engagements. One of her twitter rants was how he did not invite her to an annual Halloween party at the behest of the host. Apparently, Brandi had dated the host and his current love interest had no desire to have Brandi in their home. After breaking up with him early last season she did drag him along to the Mauricio/Ken birthday dinner. Brandi ranted about how Scheana "flirted" with him all night. Brandi has also gone on twitter and blamed JR for her "homelessness". Apparently, he is the only agent in the greater LA area that can find Brandi her annual home. What I thought was very uncool of Brandi is to continually mention how she had some sort of relationship with JR, in spite of the fact he had moved on. A move like that is designed to hurt his present girlfriend. I guess that would be another example of her brutal honesty. The stupid quota for the evening was filled with Brandi going along with Kim's stellar idea of stalking him. I am quite certain Brandi could have gotten her fill of JR and his new love interest at Kyle and Mauricio White Party. I suppose this is what we have to look forward to with "Kooky" Kim and her sidekick Brandi. I only caught the end of the episode and was so distracted by how horrible the back of Adrienne's hair looked that I couldn't focus on whatever the hell Brandi was babbling about. I too, was distracted by both Adrienne and Brandi's black roots. Maybe it is all the rage in Sherman Oaks. 9 Link to comment
Mozelle November 26, 2014 Share November 26, 2014 (edited) I think this Portia business is just a storyline. Kyle has three other daughters and I have yet to read about any problems (e.g., drugs, DUIs, accidents, etc.) with them. We can discount Farrah as she was an adult when the show first started, but the other two girls were quite young when RHOBH premiered--the one who's a freshman in college now was probably in her last year of middle school and the one in middle school now (or is she a high school freshman?) was in elementary school at the start of the franchise. Kyle and Mauricio have raised some pretty decent daughters, and I don't see Portia becoming an enfant terrible based on her sisters' examples. Edited November 26, 2014 by Mozelle 5 Link to comment
tulip555 November 26, 2014 Share November 26, 2014 (edited) Yeah but does anyone believe Lisa wasn't behind at least some of the Adrian nonsense? I've grown tired of Lisa's schtick. FILLER EPISODE! Gawd that was boring. I certainly believe Lisa is right in the "thick" of all the action. She thinks she's being covert about her machinations, but I think the others know her too well at this point. The back of Adrienne's hair may have looked horrible during that scene with Brandi, but it was nothing in comparison to Brandi's hair when she went to Kim's house before they went spying on JR!! (Did I notice some extension weaves there, too??) 3 Link to comment
