This is from Jo's website:

N.I.C.K. B aka Nerd In A Cool Kid's Body is part of the new generation of young MC's coming out of New Jeruz. Focusing on lyrics and content. N.I.C.K B is truly a student of the game. With influences from The Wu Tang Clan, Eminem, Nas and Jay Electronica......Jo takes on the altered ego [sic] named N.I.C.K. B (Nerd in a Cool Kids Body). “Rhyming is something I did before the show and I’ll continue to do as long as I live” N.I.C.K. B. Born in Newark, NJ, raised in Union, NJ, taught N.I.C.K B both strength and knowledge and gave him the platform that would later assist him with his choice of content and his name.

Among his song selections are "Life of a Teenage Father" (available on YouTube) and "Untaxed Income."

Bwah! All I can think of is Kelly Bundy telling her brother Bud aka Grandmaster B, "Oh please forgive me Ghostbuster B!"

If Jo loves rapping as an art form, and  wants to dedicate time and attention to it, I have absolutely no problem with that. Especially if it brings him joy and happiness.  We all need hobbies. BUT if he isn't making money from it, then he needs to do it on the side, and get a full-time job with money and benefits. I feel bad that he isn't like other kids who can follow risky dreams and spend time refining his craft, but that's just not possible for him. If that's what he wanted out of life he should have avoided knocking up his high school girlfriend.

I like how he was raised in an affluent suburb but he's acting like he's repping Newark. He was probably just born in the hospital there.

Jo needs to get a job and quit worrying about this crap.

I don't know that I'd call UNION, NJ "affluent". In union county alone it competes with Westfield and Summit. Even Clark, Scotch Plains, Fanwood, and Springfield are more suburban than Union - but I agree that he was probably born at St Michaels and reps Newark.

Isn't the apartment he shared with Vee in Newark?

Oh my. At the lyrics and that hairless young lady in that photo with Jo. If Gary can make money selling storebought cookies and condoms, Jo can probably find some way to bilk money out of the Teen Mom 2 viewers for this dumpsterfire of a rap career.

"Traffic, traffic

Lookin' for my Chapstick

Feelin' kinda carsick

There's a Ford Maverick!"

They all seem the same because it takes a certain type of person to want to be on reality TV.  I for one, would die if I had cameras following me around everywhere because I would either have to wear make-up all the time (eugghhhh) or everyone would see me with my oh so attractive bed hair and pre-breakfast face.  No thank you.

Very true. That's why I'm predicting we'll see an entirely different Cole next season, if he's still around. He's already hawking shit on his Instagram so he's not above using his newfound celebrity to make a buck. I'm just praying Jenelle and her latest fling make it to next year's taping. Two losers with no jobs, multiple kids by multiple partners, criminal records and drug histories should make for some interesting viewing.

He was living in a pretty damned nice house on TM. I doubt his parents went from a rough neighborhood to that house. He's just trying to be hardcore instead of really representing that he comes from a decent, solidly middle class home.

Or, hey Grandma B! Someone is on the phone for you!

Oh really? Is it Bedwetter B calling? Ha ha.

Oh Jo. Why didn't you consult me before choosing your corny MC Name? I could've provided you with plenty:

I have a question for you youngsters. I'm old and have taken exactly one selfie. And, the only reason I took the pic is because my cat was curled around my neck like a scarf. It was a cat as a fashion accessory pic, if you will. What's the deal with selfies in the car? The pic of Kail with her new hair was taken while she sat behind the wheel and I see many similar pics. Is it now the in thing to get behind the wheel, catch a glimpse of yourself in the rearview mirror and think 'I look marvelous! Better snap a selfie!'? I'm not ragging on anyone, just trying to figure it out.

Maybe it's because my "youngster"ness is wearing thin, but I'm with you on this one. I rarely take any selfies at all because I don't like how I look in them. Something about the camera angle and my own lack of proficiency with even an idiot-proof camera, and they just don't turn out right. I always feel like I look better when someone else takes the photo (usually because I'm doing something cool in the photo, which is something to focus on besides my face). I do have one selfie that turned out really well but I was wearing about a half-Chelsea amount of makeup and wanted to show it off.

The exception is...I'm a big advocate for cruelty-free makeup and hygiene. I am slowly converting my entire bathroom to cruelty-free and occasionally I'll do an entire face of cruelty-free makeup and it looks really good, so I'll post a selfie with the brands listed, so that people know you can be kind to animals without having to turn into a totally granola hippie mother-earth type. I've done a car selfie exactly once, when I realized the makeup looked better in natural light but just happened to be heading to work already (I was at the end of the driveway, not actually driving!).

I guess technically, I'm a youngster. I take a lot of selfies. Mostly in my car because the lighting is good there. I don't actually drive and take selfies.

The reason is that I'm addicted to makeup. I love doing makeup, so I like to capture how I look wearing it. I like to see how my contouring looks, how my eyes look, which colors look good, how can I improve my skills etc.Makeup is my hobby.

But do you post those selfies on Facebook? ;-)

I remember back in the days when Leah would post on her social media pages about her daughter's health. I don't think she has done that in a long while. It's all about covering her ass.

That house was in PA - not NJ.  My apartment (in Newark, NJ) was just under 200k 10+ years ago - I could sell and move to a huge house in PA and have a nice sized down payment.

I remember years ago a bunch of people selling and moving to the Pocono area because you could get so much more house for the money - perhaps his parents did something like that and since they owned their own company, they could move the business headquarters anywhere.

hence also the significant overlap between MTV reality "stars" and porn actors, from Farrah-ble Abraham to Dunbar Merrill, Tonya and Dustin Zito, all from Real World seasons...exhibitionists

It's still ongoing-- lots of posts about it in the citydata forums for Lehigh Valley and NE Pennsylvania.

Jenelle didn't do herself any favors a few months ago when she posted about Kaiser throwing up and looking really sick. No, dumbass, take him to the ER or urgent care first and then you can post about it in the waiting room while the staff is checking him out. Priorities...

  • Love 6

Now, is that true that he is making it up for street cred, or just one of those things that people make up that get passed around? :-)

Jo did technically live in New Jersey so, technically he can say he is from New Jersey. When he moves from Delaware to another location, he can then say he was from Delaware.

It's just like Kail buying those vehicles, expensive purses, and all those material things to give the appearance that she is a celebrity and she is rich!

Kaiser was probably throwing up from all that stress he was put through from being around Jenelle and Nipples. He was hoping CPS would take him away.

That Jo is from Newark. Or even Union, NJ. He's just writing that to look like he has some "cred" because a rapper can't just be from Suburban Pennsylvania.

Ha, reminds me of when I'm driving to work listening to my phone and Damn it Feels Good to Be a Gangsta comes on and I "rap" along, because you know a suburban mom of two young kids who works as a financial analyst could teach the Geto Boys a thing or two.

I bet Jo's seen some shit go down in the mean burbs of Pennsylvania though. Like the time the soft serve machine at the local Dairy Queen exploded and it took the workers 20 min to clean it up and the line of customers was out the door and there was some talk of mutiny amongst those waiting for Peanut Buster Parfaits.

(Just kidding, that happened in an affluent suburb of Minneapolis in 1998 but I really thought I was going to see a brawl).

Lmfao, do you work for Initech and share an office with Milton and Michael Bolton?

Speaking of gangster shit in the suburbs, the pick-up counter at a crowded Starbucks is more dangerous than the prisons on Lockup. Grab the wrong drink by accident and you'll get a shank in your side. Millenials with low blood sugar are nothing to play around with...

I see camera crew in the back.

Is this a Teen Dads: Poker Night and Tell All special?  If so, can't wait.

I don't get random selfies either. I get them on vacation or a special occasion like a selfie in Times Square or before your first day at a new job. I wouldn't take one, but I kind of understand it. The "I'm just hanging out taking pics of myself" selfie is weird. I think the car thing is literally they get stuck in traffic and get bored. These kids aren't mental giants. I imagine they get bored pretty easily.

I don't get Kail posting her body on social media after having the fat sucked out of her stomach and put in her ass.

As time has passed, Kail now sports the fake, Kartrashian, fish pout look in her selfies as she tries to look sexy.

Perfect description.

After checking out Adam's FB page (thanks for the link), I came across a post of his where he rattles off having cheated and lied to this girl, Babes, continuously. What else is new?

This girl is in a few photos and posts.

I saw a link to this article and it mentions why the new season is 7B instead of season 8. There were no new contracts signed which is how Adam and Jeremy were "forced" to film a new season:

http://www.inquisitr.com/3448949/jeremy-calvert-returns-to-filming-on-teen-mom-2-after-claiming-the-show-ruined-his-life/

Part of the article that mentions what I posted above:

As for Jeremy Calvert’s feelings toward the MTV series, he still doesn’t seem happy. In fact, just days ago, the reality star took to Instagram, where he went on a rant against the show, claiming that it has ruined his life.

“I don’t need Teen Mom in my life,” he wrote. “I was doing just fine before I knew wtf the show was and truthfully wish I’d never became part of it, the bs has completely ruined my life… yea and before ya talk s**t the money isn’t amazing and enough to live off of either.”

Around the time of Jeremy Calvert’s angry post, a source spoke out, confirming both Calvert and his fellow reality dad, Adam Lind, had basically been forced into returning to Teen Mom 2 for the series’ upcoming season.

“Both guys signed on for Season 7, and wanted out while filming last season,” a source explained to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup. “Neither planned to do any more episodes after that, but MTV kind of pulled a fast one on them and simply extended the season. Instead of the new season being Season 8, it is now Season 7B, which means there were no new contracts signed.”

“It’s unavoidable,” the source added. “They can’t get out of it because they already signed, knowing that it was a possibility that the season would be extended. It happened once before to the cast.”

It's a crying shame. I don't want to see either of those fuckers on my TV anyway!

I realize I am totally late to this party but I haven't watched TM2 in years. (Chelsea was still with Adumb and Leah and Corey had gotten back together last time I tuned in.) So what's the deal with Jeremy? I know OF him through online references but hadn't seen him in action until last night's episode. I am a big fan of Corey. Is Jeremy an asshat or redeemable? He has a job so my bar isn't set very high.

Germy (as I like to call him, based on how Leah actually pronounces it) is better than say a Nathan or an Adumb, but he's no Cory. He works a real, solid job. He sees his daughter regularly when he's in town. He's not horrible, and I like when he and Cory get along. But he can be pretty full of immaturity and drama himself. As much as I loved when he slapped Leah in the face with raw bacon....because it was Leah....that's a pretty shitty thing to do. And he's had some really ridiculous rants on SM, whereas Cory does seem to try and stay out of it. I wouldn't say he's a total asshat. He COULD be redeemable, but he can be kind of a turd sometimes.

Huh, interesting, so they are skipping 16&P girls and going straight to teen moms that are already in their 20s? I wonder if they are trying to find some girls who actually had a real struggle, that had to work and go to school for a few years without being handed a MTV paycheck since they were teens. Bet the OG and TM2 girls are shaking in their shoes lol.

  • Love 2

That's what I'm thinking. They crew would probably be happy to work with some girls who are grateful for the job (as much as it's a job...) and aren't demanding anything insane. The new girls would probably be happy to be paid a normal working wage and get a few perks like traveling. At least that's what I'm telling myself. And I'm sure I'm getting my hopes up and they'll cast a bunch of dramatic moms who want to live the flashy lives the TM/TM2 girls do. It'll be TM3 all over...

Also, you don't need the apostrophe when saying "in their early 20s," MTV.

realities of motherhood — from balancing school and/or work responsibilities to navigating incredibly difficult decisions and relationships with boyfriends and parents.

What are these "school" and "jobs" that MTV is speaking about?  Since when is that a "reality" of your average Teen Mom?  come on, now!! (current TMs are like, "whoah, sucks to be you guys!")
