According to Reality Steve (via Twitter), the man critically injured in this paragliding accident yesterday was Eric Hill, the recipient of the first one-on-one date of Andi's season.

He is currently in critical condition in a Utah hospital

That's really sad about Eric's accident.  Hope he is able to recover but it sounds pretty serious.

Love the fact that guys seem to be more into making life long friendships than "dating" Andi!   That's hysterical.   And Yeah it could easily be another season like Deanna's where Andi is all put off about the lack of attention!

Just saw a segment on "Entertainment Tonight" with Eric's brother Scott, regarding last night's show.  He said the family was fine with how it was presented, and he'd like to sit down & talk to Andi.  Chris Harrison said Eric's exit interview was abrupt & didn't feel "right", so they substituted the Chris/Andi sit down.

I'm not at home to check my guide, and I can't get a clear read on the internet. It's not a new episode tonight, is it? I saw something about "Journey So Far". But a) if they're going to play TB, why not air a new one and b) it's only been on a few weeks with minimal drama for it to be a catch up episode.

Wow, so he interviewed more? I thought that was it before he got in the cab. Maybe they just cut out parts and made it a voice over while he walked out of the casino.

No new episode tonight because of the interview with Hillary Rodham Clinton.  That's probably why we had two episodes last week and are just having a short catch-up special tonight.

Did anyone see Andi's 25 Things You Don't Know About Me  in US Magazine this week?  I actually like her a bit more because of the Cards Against Humanity, sewing and the history nerd bit, but I did laugh at The Star Spangled Banner being her favourite song.  Or maybe that's an American thing- I can't think of anyone who'd put O Canada on their top song list :-)

Oh I hope not.  Her dancing date with Juan Pablo was the most stiff and awkward thing in history - no way is that something she can do well. please no.  Terrible dancers with touchy attitudes are terrible tv.

Well speaking of, rumor has it that she and whoever her final pick will be, have already been cast on the next season of DWTS. Don't know how true it is as so far only Hollywood Life and a few smaller publications are reporting it. Also, fair warning, but some of the publications reporting it, spoil who the final pick is so don't search if you don't want to be spoiled about the ending.

Oh my God.  I just heard on ET that Andi is on the short list to co-host The View since both Sherri Shephard and Jenny McCarthy are now leaving.  I'm stunned.  Maybe she'll be better at it than I expect, but I probably won't watch much anyway (The View co-hosts often annoy me...)

Based on past experience, the schedule of the remaining episodes should be as follows:

 

7/7 Hometown Dates

7/14 Overnight Dates

7/21 Men Tell All

7/28 Finale & After The Final Rose

 

I've read somewhere that Bachelor In Paradise premieres on 8/4, so Bachelorette needs to finish before then.

Sometimes they do that: finale on Sunday and the premiere in the regular Monday spot. I have no knowledge one way or the other this time, though.

Well, according to RS and many other TV critics, the ratings for the last Sunday night outing were disastrous, by Bachelor standards.  Sunday is the most competitive night of TV and I don't think they'll want to take the drubbing again if they can avoid it.

and Nick looking awfully cozy.  So I guess he is not one of the final two.

I think that only indicates

that he's not the final 1.  He could have been final 2 and still have hooked up with someone else in the time since he left the show.

 Still it does seem to confirm that, if the photo is real and current.

picture are we talking about? Is it the one Kat from last season tweeted of her, another contestant from JP's season, Nick and the other Nick from this season? Because honestly, I didn't really see anything cozy about the picture. Nick has his hands buried in his pockets and is just sort of awkwardly standing next to the two, not touching either one. I know Kat deleted the picture anyway but yeah I didn't think that was proof of anything because he's not doing anything in the pictures in my opinion.

Speaking of media, as is customary, when the numbers dwindle down, the tabloids start reporting stuff on the contestants. Apparently a tabloid is reporting that Chris has something like 13 arrests from when he was teenager/college student, seemingly all for drinking and driving incidents. I think there was also some bar fight at some point. Reality Steve confirmed that the report is true but basically feels like it's not a big deal because it was long ago. Should be interesting 

if the show does decide to go with him as the next Bachelor. Supposedly a thread about it on the ABC boards was deleted.

 

There is also a claim that Marcus was arrested for drug possession and that this actually only happened four years ago. It's funny but for as much as some think Nick is creepy, Marcus is the one who while I wouldn't necessarily say I find him creepy, something about him has always weirded me out and I think it's because he seems dead behind the eyes in my opinion. I'm not sure what it is but I always feel like there's no "there" with him and he has this really soft, quiet way of speaking that freaks me out even more. I seriously get American Psycho vibes from him - everything seems so perfectly polished, tailored, etc.

Well, four years ago he was 21, and it could've been a bit of pot, for all we know.  I don't think Marcus is Psycho material, I just think he's a lot more immature compared to the other guys.  I'd say habitual DUI is a lot more concerning, though I bet Chris has outgrown that stage.  He seems to handle his alcohol very responsibly this season.  In fact, all of them (with the one glaring exception) have been refreshingly sober.

I just watched them on Jimmy Kimmel Live that aired after the finale last night.  They are a damn good looking couple.  They're not my favorites but I'll give them that....they look great together.

 

Oh dear god.  Didn't watch the entire thing.  Apparently Jimmy Kimmel predicted Josh would be the 'winner' a few months ago.  So, they flashed back to that episode.  She is wearing the most unfortunate dress that shows 'under-boob'...if that's a thing. Please someone tell me you saw this too!

 

They also played The Newlywed Game.  Josh was asked Andi's most annoying character trait.  He said "her over-analyzing."  HAH!  Could you imagine if she picked Nick?  The two would be dead from over-analyzing!

I saw it, too.  It really was a most unfortunate choice of gown.  The extremely wide and deep plunging neckline not only made sure to advertise that Andi was most definitely not wearing a bra of any type, but also highlighted that she really needs one.  Andi, here's a hint:  if you place a pencil under your boob and it stays there when you take your hand away, gravity is already kicking in, and you should always avoid going braless if at all possible.  Andi is at the point where she could keep a couple of pencils in there, or maybe her eyeliner and lipstick for quick trips to the powder room.

 

I was really impressed with Jimmy Kimmel for not staring the entire time at all that boob.

Andi's fashion sense is awful. She wore way too many boob dresses and those short-shorts...Gag! The ones she wore to Josh's hometown were by far the worst.
