  1. Oh my Brandon. He was trying so very hard with his look for the reunion. The dye job, the lacing, the white socks with white sandals (that I quite seriously thought were elf shoes until I could see them closer in high def), along with the very French braids. And I hate to judge on appearance, but he needs to take better care of his skin! It does not read young 24 year old guy. I was happy Kenya brought her scarf along for the reunion and told the story. I knew there had to be one since we saw it all season long.
  2. My favorite Tim-ism: "[Swatch] looks like a baked potato " Did I hear that right?? And I greatly appreciate everyone else shutting down Claire's attempt to gaslight her cheating.
  3. Maybe Nick will have Cheryl? Make it the brother combo for her?
  4. Oh my Heathers! You must be a Gen-Xer. :) I obviously don't check in here often, but this gave me a chuckle. Thanks for the laugh!
  5. I get that, but the mariachi costumes in the dance do not show his personal background. Just embarrassingly awful in optics featuring Trump.
  6. Wanya was great ! REALLY good, in all the important ways. I like that he is standing out amongst all of the buff NFL players in a good way. And speaking of, Doug Flutie was pretty freaking awesome tonight! Also liked how fearless Paige was. While the "star" quality may not be up to snuff for some, the dance quality is really good! ETA: My keyboard is acting up in some very bad ways....
  7. Ugh -- the Geraldo dance was ugly on many levels. First of all, he is incapable of dancing. Most importantly, he decided to be the Mexican dancer who looks like Trump? The guy who wants to build a nice tall wall (at Mexico's expense)? Could not be more tone deaf. Embarrassingly bad. ETA: I can see that this appears to be me calling out Geraldo as a Mexican-American or Mexican immigrant, with no regard to his personal history. I apologize for this misconception. Instead, I am calling out the character Geraldo (and Edyta! Disappointed...) chose to play. Why the over-the-top Mexico theme? Yuck.
  8. Yes, I didn't appreciate Phil taking sides so obviously on this one. And I wanted Green to make it -- they have been dominant on this Race, I want to see them in the finals. Papps are so much more obnoxious than anything Green has done, they are the only ones I want to see tapped out in the dark of night by Phil. Otherwise, I am good with either the team that came in first 7 times or the team that came in second 5 times.
  9. I thought "off-balance" best described Tamar's dance. As a fellow tall girl, I thought she expressed discomfort with the shorter, slighter Louis. If she didn't trust him 100%, she was going to be as wobbly as she looked. And it's been mentioned, but oh my is Hayes young. The cracking voice made me laugh (maybe because my guys are 15 and 13, and I've been living with this for several years now).
  10. I would've put any designer who placed the ubiquitous useless bow on the bra in the bottom. I could not believe how many of them did that! Such a stupid detail.
  11. For the love of Pete! This could've been an INCREDIBLE challenge... if the designers had two days. There were glimpses of brilliance and beauty that went completely unfulfilled for lack of time. What will it take Lifetime?? It's worth the $ for a few extra days of production to let the designers really complete their ideas. I'm really happy I had "manatee penis" on my PR drinking game card. BINGO! Yay Edmond! Liked this one a lot. Funny how he didn't even want to share his idea with the producers in the talking head filming. And can I say I don't blame bottom two manatee girl (Amanda?) for getting angry for being in the bottom? Some other dresses were horrendous in comparison, especially the bottoms. I am a little flummoxed about the judging so far. For a change....
  12. That would've been Jesse Palmer, the NFL "star" Bachelor. The girl he chose was maybe 21 years old at the time, so in hindsight it makes sense. The moment he reached into his jacket pocket and whipped out... a plane ticket was pretty hilarious.
  13. Noticed that about the husbands, as well. I could sympathize with the wives, though. They are the ones who have to go work! Am a little turned off by the premise of this show. Struggling families who need to justify their situation (to the audience and unknowingly to another family) to be deserving of this? And then I personally felt a little gross sitting on my couch judging their struggles and decisions. I don't think I can watch this one again.
  14. Nope. She wasn't gloating in the moment. I thought it was kind of sweet that she needed several moments and called her mom. (Because, what a prize? Again, more a revelation of her character than anything else....) And I appreciated that she gave those who were initially more for Britt a chance. Probably to her disadvantage, but with that close a vote she had to choose a few of them.
  15. I didn't watch much of the Bachelor last season (big yawn with Chris), so while I had certain impressions of Britt, Kaitlyn is kind of an unknown entity to me. So, opinions get formed when I hear these reactions after the big reveal: Bachelorette #1: I am so shocked, I didn't expect that at all. Bachelorette #2: I am so shocked, is she OK? I can accept that Kaitlyn is an acquired taste, but the heart of each is revealed in this moment. For me. ETA: Obviously, I agree Pixie! :)
