Did Kanye wear grey sweats to get his prize? Like the ones from junior high gym class ? Could he appear to be more of a lump? A toking, sleeping lump. If he weren't such a lump I would think he was punking us all with his "style" & the way dresses his Barbie doll, er I mean wife. I don't think he'd know taste even if it dressed up as Beyoncé & said it loved him.

Well, I forced myself to listen to the video and all I could think is, "What the fuckadifuck WAS that?!?! How the heck can Kim or whoever stand to listen to that craziness day in and day out? I honestly think that there's something seriously wrong with Kanye, and it almost makes me feel a wee bit sorry for him. He needs help, for real.

And what the hell is in them? They're all lumpy. Makeup?

Candy? A couple joints? A pipe? The car keys?

Cell phone. And a spare cell phone or two in case the first one breaks. What's the point of being a MILF pregnant woman who was on the cover of Vogue if you can't take multiple selfies to share with all the little people who so rightfully admire you?

Here you go.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3213276/Kanye-West-announces-s-running-president-2020-admitting-d-smoked-joint-epic-acceptance-speech-MTV-VMAs.html

Daily Mail, "Kanye West announces he's running for President in 2020 after admitting he'd smoked a joint before epic acceptance speech at MTV VMAs"

Woohoo, watch out Washington D.C., Kayne's gonna shake you up.

Was he serious, or just stoned and drunk? He already thinks he's Yeezy. Guess he thinks he can be Prezzy too.

Come to think of it, a Kayne presidential campaign would be fun, very snarkable. We could snark on his campaign antics (his platform would be totally bizarre), and snark on Kim dutifully following him along the campaign trail, trying to act like a potential First Lady while wearing her tits-out dresses.

The presidential candidates' debates would be fabulously weird with Kayne there. Every time another candidate tried to speak, he'd butt in with, "Ima gonna let you finish, but..."

And Kim could do a really slutty Jackie Kennedy esque spread for Vogue.

What is that carpetbagging jackanapes wearing?    I guess I mean both of the idiots.

Oh geez.

http://www.tmz.com/2015/08/31/kanye-west-hosting-vmas-on-the-table-mtv-execs-loved-speech/

Well, this is pretty much what they said on Good Day NY this morning. That as nuts as he sounded he's entertaining because you dont know whats going to come out of his mouth.  After having the Miley trainwreck host I fully expect this to come to pass and he will indeed host next year.

I'd like to see the battle of the lunatic millionaires Kanye and Trump in this election. But I wouldn't vote for either one of them.

Thanks for the links above!

Ha! Just once on the stage together to debate anything:

"Ima gonna let you finish, but..."

"Excuse me"

"Ima..."

"EXCUSE me no EXCUSE ME"

"Ima gonna let you..."

They'd be so busy trying to quiet each other, neither would get to the point.

The TMZ article said, "Here's how much MTV loved it ... we're told they only allotted him 2 minutes, but people in the control room were told to stand down, because it was crazy entertaining. We're told after Kanye left the stage, an MTV big wig followed him to his dressing room and gushed about the spectacle."

And then we wonder why Kayne gets more crazy, more egotistical and more delusional. Enablers in the entertainment industry, like this MTV big cheese, are fawning over him and throwing multimillion-dollar contracts at him.

Even the mainstream media is enabling him. I saw this article about his bid for the presidency in The Guardian:

http://www.theguardian.com/music/2015/aug/31/kanye-for-president-2020

"Kanye for president: could his beautiful dark twisted fantasy come true?"

Is the Guardian punking us, or is this supposed to be a serious article? When you read it, it sounds like they wrote it with sincerity. They even gave examples of actors who became successful in politics, Ronald Reagan and Arnold Schwarzenegger. But you never know about dry British humor. There may be a huge joke in that article that an unsophisticated Yank like me didn't catch.

That title made me gag. I agree with the "dark," "twisted," and "fantasy" parts, but "beautiful"? Ugh. The last thing I would ever say about a nutjob like Kayne becoming President is "beautiful."

Kanye will have another NYFW Show on Sept 16.

Kanye West x Adidas Originals Is Returning to New York Fashion Week

http://www.vogue.com/13332641/kanye-west-adidas-originals-season-two-fashion-week-show/

And there's already controversy.

http://nymag.com/thecut/2015/09/yeezy-season-two.html?mid=twitter_cut

Anne Bowen, whose show was to occur at the same time as the Yeezy x Adidas show, told Women's Wear Daily that Kanye's decision to surprise-present is "not ethical" because he is aware that he is a "media sensation." West has not responded to this accusation. Bowen has moved her show to the following day.

I'm all for Kanye and his fugly clothing line being mocked, but Chris Brown is an asshole. Too many reasons to name but its really tacky to again make fun of Caitlyn while also making fun of Kanye.  The last time he made a comment about Caitlyn Kylie sounded pretty hurt and she called him out on it because Chris has been friends with all the Kardashian/Jenners for a while and he quickly deleted the post.

All that said I hope more respected fashion people slam his ugly overpriced clothes.

I looked up Vanessa Beecroft, the performance artist who worked with Kanye on his show, and I was amazed to find that it is her signature presentation style Kanye is emulating. It’s more than just an inspiration, it’s identical, down to the color palette and model stances. In my opinion, Kanye is about the message, not the fashion and as such, he should be labeling his work as performance art and presenting it in that realm.  As fashion, it just comes across as a vanity project. Furthermore, it’s depressing -- not how I personally want to be affected by a fashion show.

What message?

As expected, Kanye's latest exercise in self-absorption is way more style than substance and the style sucks. However, I won't compare Yeezy's clothing line to "zombie chic" because most of the zombies I've seen have way more style than Kanye-and more sense.

http://www.vanityfair.com/style/2015/09/kanye-west-yeezy-season-2-interview

Vanity Fair, Sept. 24, 2015, "Exclusive: Kanye West Talks Yeezy Season 2, Presidential Run, and Sweatshirts"

This is a long interview with Kayne. Most of it is Q&A about his fashion collection. Example: Q: "That loose silhouette, combined with the bodysuits that are skintight, you feel that’s how people want to dress now?"

A: "I think people just wear yoga pants and sweatshirts, and I wanted to make the most beautiful version of that possible."

I couldn't believe it, but Kayne actually sounded rational in this interview. Even the interviewer commented "You seem calm."  Kayne said a lot about fashion research and production, and he sounded as if he knew something about it, which also surprised me. He even apologized for taking the time slot some of the other Fashion Week designers wanted.

There were a few Q&A's about Kayne's announcement that he's running for president. His answers were interesting because he mentioned his parents, Raymond and Donda West. I've heard him speak about Donda, but not about Ray. The parents divorced when Kayne was three. Ray was a Black Panther and a photojournalist. We don't hear much about Ray in the tabloids, but apparently he and Kayne are on good terms and see each other often.   Here is a little of what Kayne said about his parents in the VF interview,:

Q: "When you said that [running for president] at the V.M.A.s, I thought the reaction was surprising. People didn’t seem to dismiss the idea. You would have thought there would be more of an outcry."

A: "Especially from the six years of this misconception or the six years I went through of 'We don’t like Kanye' ... I sit in clubs and I’m like, Wow, I’ve got five years before I go and run for office and I’ve got a lot of research to do, I’ve got a lot of growing up to do. My dad has two masters degrees. My mom has a PhD, she used to work at Operation PUSH. Somehow the more and more creative I get, the closer and closer I get to who I was as a child. When I was a child, I was holding my mom’s hand at Operation PUSH. I think it’s time. Rap is great. It’s fun. It’s fun to be a rock star, and I’ll never not be one I guess, but there’ll be a point where I become my mother’s child. With all the things I’ve done that people would consider to be accomplishments, what’s the point where I become the person that Donda and Raymond West raised? My parents’ child."

The interviewer didn't ask Kayne anything about Kim, and unless I overlooked it, he didn't volunteer any comments about her.

I still don't like Kanye, but my impression of him improved after I read the VF article.

I am honestly afraid that he might become the prez. By the time he is going to run all the little fans of these people will be of voting age. A million people liked the photo Kim posted of him saying that. If an idiot like Donald Trump can run. Kanye can run. And I feel like the generation coming up isnt smart enough to vote for anyone with half a brain. Maybe thats how my parents felt about us. I really hope that it was just a joke.

And we all know Kim is with him for the visability. She really is smart when it comes down to it. She knew about his fashion ambitions,I'm sure and look at her now. They bought Anna Wintour. That tells me there is nothing money can not buy. Though Anna will deny it till the grave. I can't even hate them for that. They made the American dream come true for themselves. And we buy into their so called "reality". Well not me, but us talking about them makes them reality in our society.

Its not about talent anymore. Its about how we can be entertained. And they are willing to put everything in tv. It honestly makes me sad how materialisic we have become as a society. Beauty and sex means more to us than compassion for our fellow human being. Any way this rant has gone on too long. I'm sadly as guilty as any one.

According to this article

http://deadline.com/2014/02/its-official-tv-academy-splits-best-miniseries-tv-movie-category-686953/

"The TV Academy also voted to split the Outstanding Reality Program Category into Outstanding Structured Reality Program (i.e. Antiques Roadshow, MythBusters, etc.) and Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program (i.e. Pawn Stars, Duck Dynasty, etc.) because of “a general industry uptrend in two different types of narrative reality programming.” They will join the Reality Competition Program category."

KUWTK could be nominated in the "Unstructured" category.

In 2015, these were the nominees:

Alaska The Last Frontier

Deadliest Catch

Intervention

Million Dollar Listing NY

Naked and Afraid

Wahlburgers

Deadliest Catch won.

http://www.emmys.com/awards/nominees-winners/2015/outstanding-unstructured-reality-program

Deadliest Catch also won in 2014 against Flipping Out, Wahlburgers, Alaska, Million Dollar Listing NY, Wild Things.

The Academy has had two years to nominate KUWTK and they haven't. Kanye, as usual, is delusional.

I'd love to see him rushing the stage when they lost.

Oh I would love this too.  But IIRC, the Emmys for the Unstructured Reality Show are handed out at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, which is not the show we're all used to watching.

Kanye wouldn't waste his time rushing the stage unless it was the PrimeTime show with the mega-audience.

This guy just doesn't quit.  Now the fashion industry has discriminated against him because

(drumroll)

He isn't gay!!!!!

http://www.billboard.com/articles/news/6721916/kanye-west-fashion-discrimination-gay-interview

Oh, and he's also  "proud to be in a family that has so many people breaking ground for generations to come."  referring, of course, to the Kardashians (although specifically to Caityn)

Now this is priceless

http://gawker.com/kanye-west-thinks-his-wifes-stupid-app-is-a-rip-off-1735796056

Kanye is on a twitter rant about apps that let kids run up purchases.  But...there's this:

"This is a frustration that is familiar to Ayelet Waldman, the extremely sensitive and husband-loving novelist who recently had a very similar experience when she let her 11-year-old son play Kim Kardashian’s Hollywood game, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, only to find that he’d racked up $120 in in-app purchases. Unlike West, Waldman took her rant to Facebook instead of Twitter, warning parents that those “vile scumbag Kardashian pigs” are after your kids."

  • Love 1

On one hand I actually agree with the sentiment that in-app purchases shouldnt be included in games for very young children, but then he had to go and kill his point by bitching about North making purchases on his iPad every 5 minutes and that children should be allowed to have fun and parents need a break. There are plenty of activities 2 year olds can do that can give parents a rest but maybe when it comes to her playing with the iPad they should actually monitor what she's doing on there or at least try and explain she shouldnt be making additional purchases. She seems like a smart kid that might understand.
