@mmecorday, I didn't get a chance to mention this before the 600 Lb thread closed on Wednesday, but I want to say how sorry I am about Dottie.  My beloved Charlie passed away on October 21, and I'm still really broken up.  I had Charlie for 16 years and he was the best cat I ever knew.  I don't want to bring people down with this post, but I just wanted to express my sorrow about Dottie.

@Floatingbison, thank you so much. It's been a difficult week, but the boss and his boss at work are both animal lovers and they let me take Monday and Tuesday off, our two busiest days at the paper. We miss our dear little Dottie, but I'm glad she's no longer suffering. <3
