I get the feeling that boy does a lot of work at home so mom can sit and whine about how over worked she is. She said she hoped Ronald would get up with the child during the night? My guess:  Daniel was raised primarily by Tiff's mom, who laid down rules and boundaries.  Tiff, not so much.  As a teacher (welcome to my TED Talk) I can't count high enough parents who want to be their child's friend and can't say no.

Hey Nasty Family Libby:  My son, who had stitches as an hour old infant due to being cut on the head during a C section, rolled off our bed at least twice, and fell down half a flight of stairs before the age of two, is now a rocket and satellite engineer making satellites to fix other satellites while in outer space. At the age of 22.  Shut. It.  She will be fine, unless her horrid relatives ruin her by, you know.....talking.

I could not stop laughing at Julia dancing.  The look on the guys face was priceless.  Wasn't the job for an aerobic sort of dance instructor? Not "entertainment" dancing.  Mike and Natalie are really disturbing, I just cannot watch their constant fighting, I have to mute the TV until their segment is over.  If they are not together, that is the best thing for both of them.  Yara just annoys me, I love that Jovi is more in love with his daughter than that selfish girl he married.  She is a big talker but never delivers.  Poor mom and grandma did most of the heavy lifting.  I don't like Ronald, he is a loser, but he genuinely seems to love and care for Daniel.  WTH is Tiffany's problem, they needed food in the house and everything he was buying she complained about and acted like they wouldn't use it.  She never heard of buying a whole chicken and roasting it in the oven?  The other things she was turning up her nose at were things they use in SA.  Doesn't she understand that other countries have different items.  Also, if she didn't want to cook or apparently cannot cook anything they bought, she should have just gotten frozen dinners and more Polony and bread.  Elizabeth needs to stop throwing her husband under the bus in front of her family, she is a complete moron.  She is not helping their situation.  That whole family is a shit show, maybe a scripted shit show.

Because I'm old and skeptical, I raised an eyebrow at Natalie's reason for a nose job nasal surgery.  

Her breasts are about 3 times the size they were when she first appeared.  At first I hand waved it as weight gain because her face seemed a bit puffy, but the rest of her body seemed the same size, so I began leaning towards breast augmentation rather than weight gain.

I'm suspecting she's actually getting a nose job, probably under the guise of "septal deviation," which usually gets the insurance company to pay for the majority of the costs as a medical necessity.  

Maybe she knew at this point she was going to tell Mike deuces and decided to get what she could from him before doing so.  

I find Ronald and Tiffany equally awful in their own ways.  Daniel surely must be getting survivor's benefits from SS, and I hope Tiffany is saving some of that for his future and not blowing it all on necessities like cold-shoulder tops.

Has anybody seen her IG post about how she's lost 20 pounds?  And there is a photoshopped image of her in which she's scaled back to about 115 pounds.  Tiff, hon, you're a lovely girl but you've got to be knocking on about 275 pounds or more.  Twenty pounds wouldn't even make a dent in your BMI.  Ridiculously misleading.  Even if she has had gastric surgery, this was just filmed in December....no way she could have lost about 150+ pounds in that short amount of time.  Ugh.  She's such a fraud on so many levels.  

Thankfully Kalani and Asuelo were nowhere to be seen this episode.

On a final note, I found myself enduring the Potthast escapades and my mind went to this classic gem.  Actors that they all imagine themselves to be, I'd love a twist like this in the Potthast Epic Road Trip Shenanigans.

Y'all are giving WAYYYYY too much credit for Ronald that he would have ANY of the tools you mentioned to cook a chicken -- air fryer, instapot, roaster pan, garlic, bouillon cubes.  Dude probably doesn't even have a casserole pan and aluminum foil!! And it doesn't even sound like she knew he put it in the cart, so she couldn't even get what she could use anyway.

How messed up is it that the RV Gang stayed in an AirBnB for one night? The cleaning fees alone would cover a couple of hotel rooms. 🥴

Ugh, I REALLY don't want to defend Tiffany, because she is incredibly annoying, makes poor life choices, and needs to go home, get a good job and give her kids some stability rather than flying off to South Africa yet again...BUT (and this may be the full-time working Mom of a 3 year old and a 1 year old talking instead of the sarcastic, cynical reality TV show watcher speaking), I can cut her the tiniest bit of slack about her complaints this episode.

She is likely exhausted from traveling and Ronald seems like he talked a really good game about how prepared he would be upon their arrival, how he was going to step up and give her a well-deserved break and make up for all of those days and nights where he couldn't be a father to that baby. Now he's pulling the "I can only do one thing at time excuse." My husband uses this excuse, and it drives me crazy. I get the two toddlers up, fed, dressed and ready for daycare by myself every morning and watch them while he works every other weekend. This means I need to multi-task - constantly. Yet, when it's his turn to "give me a break," he acts incredulous when I say I'm going to take a shower while he's preparing a meal or doing something with one of the kids. And I do snap that I have to do that and more during those times I'm on my own. 

I could relate to her feeling like she was finally going to have someone to do 50% of the parenting, and then realizing she still had to do 80+%, but also give him full credit for everything he was doing or he would get his feelings hurt. Men often feel like they have back-up when it comes to childcare - because they DO. And women take the brunt of the blame when a child is shown crying or misbehaving in any way.

It's like how my Mom praises my husband because he's "so involved and even changes diapers!" Um, I wouldn't have married a man who thought for one second he didn't have to do those things, especially when I work more hours than he does in a week. It's 2021. Hold these men accountable for their FULL parenting role, you know? 

I'm probably over sensitive right now because having two toddlers is exhausting under the best of circumstances, but, man, it doesn't help the Mom guilt when it seems like almost everyone on the internet thinks it should be so easy ;) 

At the same time, she is an idiot who had a child with an idiot, so I will continue to snark away, but I just can't fault her for being frustrated and for having a crying, fussy 2 year old. That happens to the best of us.

Many years ago, I was hanging out with some female friends, who said admiringly of a man we all knew who did things like diaper (!) and feed (!) his baby, "He's such a good dad." I remember saying, "We don't say what a good mom his wife is. Why shouldn't he do those things? She's his daughter, too."

Ronald does desperately need some baby-safety classes. The plastic bag incident was truly alarming.

Okay, I REALLY need to talk to you.  YOU ARE NOT ALONE.  My kids were close together (less than two years) and girl.........I was doing everything and my hubs (ex hubby now, lol) would come home, eat dinner with us, obviously, and take the kids and dog for a walk so I could have some time, probably to clean, lol.    HOLY MOLY said my mom....GIVE HIM A MEDAL!  He walks the dog.  I was like, yeah.....and how about me?  Look, we don't get into parenthood for medals, but a little acknowledgment of my role would be helpful.

Last bolding:  You are NOT overly sensitive.  You are a human.  If it makes you feel any better, I saw a "study" on tv where a male and female, of equal ages, had to iron, watch a toddler, have something on the stove, and have a dog underfoot - or something similar.  I was kinda smug watching the male go down in FLAMES as the female was like, yeah, whattup?  Toss me some laundry to sort and and baby and I will still kick ass.

When my kids were little, Franklin was one of our favorite shows.  Franklin, little sister Harriet, Goose,  Bear, Fox, Rabbit, Beaver, and Snail, were treasured friends.  Thank you for ruining it and now all I can see is Brandon looking like a turtle with a shell.  Beats looking like a Target employee when you're not, right?  (No offense to Target, just got back from there.)

I know nothing about children's sleeping habits (except how to get them to go to bed alone, thanks to the Supernanny), but it sounded like the kid did wake up in the night, and Ronald wouldn't get up.  Tiff said he was out cold.  So what?  He wasn't dead.  Shake him until he wakes up and tell him to go tend to his daughter, like he said he would, and tell him if he doesn't you're going to get on the next plane out of there.  That's what she wants to do anyway--let him make the choice to have her do it.

I'm 64 years old and have never cooked a chicken.  I don't have any of those appliances, and I'm not exactly sure what a roaster pan is.  I do have an oblong glass casserole dish, but I think the chicken needs to be elevated.  And I do have aluminum foil (I'm actually pretty advanced when it comes to aluminum foil--I use the non-stick kind).  I bought some bouillon cubes once, and never used them.  They're cool looking, though.

But I never had kids, so I have never been responsible for feeding anyone but myself.  Which, really, is the same position Ronald is in.  I'm not excusing him, but it does help explain why he's so ill-equipped.  Lack of necessity AND lack of brainpower do not a good combination make.

So they used the RV only for transportation.  That thing probably gets about 6 miles per gallon AND it was gas (not diesel), so every fillup has to be done at regular gas pumps, not big truck pumps, further complicating matters.  If Andrrrrei and Father Libby wanted to bond during the trip, they could have taken several cars for what the RV cost AND curated their passenger list.  And had seat belts for everyone.

Really--10 people, 2 big SUVs.  Still less gas than the RV, and a hell of a lot easier.  Then again, they couldn't stand around while underway in an SUV. 

But only with an RV do you get the drama, and I'm convinced everything about their story is made up.  I did like that Becky brought some toilet paper from the AirBnB.  She said it's RV approved, but I guarantee it's not (no AirBnB owner wants the angry reviews about the thin toilet paper), and having neophytes, especially women, with cushy toilet paper in an RV can lead to disaster.  That cheered me up.

The ad for the new season of the Silva twins sent me over the edge.  I turned the tv off and went to bed.   Uncle!  I can't take them, either.

My cousin’s son needed his personal trainer certification. The gyms take that and insurance very seriously. They don’t want to get sued. Julia my look good but she needs to develop empathy and compassion to deal with clients. Plus work on her English. Too bad she didn’t sign up for free or low cost classes a couple months after arriving.

Seems like half of this season’s relationships are codependent or transactional in terms of getting the Green Card.

No one wanted to look after Eleanor. Easy to blame Andrei.

Daniel will be raising his mother. Tiffany is angry and resentful. Maybe she had different hopes and dreams. Still don’t know she did not know she was preggers with Daniel. No baby kicking, weight gain, etc.? His father is now dead and he is clinging to Ronald to find a dad. I thought Carley was an oops baby. Tying herself down with a other kid whose dad is across the world is not the best idea. Wait the year til he is sober and then marry him and have a kid. He isn’t going to help out much unless you are both together. I fully expect him to be wearing a poopie diaper at some point.

Yara, if you don’t have a car or good public transit, choosing an apartment in the suburbs is not the best idea.

I’m 62 and I hate dark meat so I have never cooked a whole chicken. 
What bothered me the most about Ronald was his assumption that he didn’t have to do anything he didn’t want to. That simply saying he was trying was good enough and Tiffany was being completely unreasonable expecting him to handle the yuckier parts of being a parent.

I also didn’t hear him offering to cook the damn chicken.

I hate dark meat too. In chickens it is okay in a sandwich. I rarely cook an entire turkey. Too big for one person. I will buy a turkey breast roast instead.

I would love that, too, but Angela has to be in control of the marriage and the one who initiates the divorce. I think her divorce threats are as empty as her "the wedding is off" threats. She just wants Michael to beg her to stay married to him and he's getting good advice from the Goofballs that he should "be an African man" and put his foot down. But he's safely 7000 miles away so he can just ghost her without a divorce. I hope he's already moved on and found a nice local girl to give him a family. I also bet he has several other American women who have offered to treat him better than Angela if he still wants to come to the US.

Is there any reason Ronald cannot come to the USA for an extended "vacation"?  Why is she always dragging those kids to SA?  Doesn't Daniel have to do remote learning?  He must be missing school either in person or remotely.

And Danielle.  Sadly, it is no longer a thing.  It is too bad, as after my WLS that show inspired me to dress better and to know my strengths and weeknesses.

He is missing school as he can't learn remotely in SA unless his teacher is licensed in SA.  (I am a sped teacher and we go through this when kids leave for weeks or months.  They are disenrolled after.....14 days?)
