I had a friend from childhood...we knew each other for a long time....she got bariatric surgery, lost a lot of weight, got addicted to drugs, got very sick and died within about 5 yrs.  Very sad. I’m not sure if she was addicted to drugs before surgery or not.  She was in her 40’s.
