90 Day: The Single Life

Tony didn't speak to his mother for 20 years and now only visits her once a year???   Red Flag #1.  His friends claim he has been alone for 20 years -- was he ever married or had children?  He seems secretive about his past.  Red Flag #2.  Is there a correlation between his rift with mom and his single status?  Debbie seems to be overlooking all the red flags in this relationship because of her desperation for a "relationship" that is actually based primarily on sex.  I feel that she empathizes with Tony's estrangement from his mother because it makes her feel better about her tumultuous relationship with Colt.  I wonder if we are all being played by TLC just to give Debbie an interesting story line that will attract viewers to this program.

Debbie should ask what happened, not let it go like she did. It'll provide real insight into Tony, his life, his relationships and his decisions.

I was so glad that Josh's wife was so beautiful. In comparison, Nutty looked like the scrawny wet runt of a litter. I think it took her down a few notches. She still felt the need, however, to grill the ex about Josh. Can't she just try and have a good time instead of always digging into every aspect of Josh? I also think the ex is going to see right through Nutty quickly and easily and set Josh straight. There is absolutely no way she will approve of having this unbalanced and insecure woman around her kids. Bye-bye, Nutty. Back to Mike, as we have seen in the promo's. She'll realize she had a good thing going (before Mike completely shut down because of her histrionics and self-entitled personality presented themselves) as someone who once accepted her. 

As far as the "I want child" business, she's getting up there in age, so maybe that's not even going to be an option. Oh, which reminds me - she was married three times before, right? Has she shared that with Josh? Josh, run, shut the door (and lock it) behind you.

She's late 30s, she could look for an older, established guy (I was going to add "Hispanic," her culture of origin, but not necessarily as long as he's a strong man who can handle a strong woman). Justin seems like a neurotic schoolboy. I don't trust him. Maybe the story that "she and I and the kids might move" is fabricated to back off because he's really not feeling it. Maybe he was never divorced!

Yes, show some interest in someone else's life for once. Ask about the boat, which I think the ex owns or a million other things. I hate people like this and have known plenty. While these shows may not be actually scripted, I think we all realize that the partcipants are led or coached into certain dramatic scenarios.  This week, what screamed extra fake to me was that Natalie, who has rarely worn anything other than a cocktail dress and hooker shoes, regardless of the occasion,  arrived to meet Josh's ex ( a naturally competetive situation where you'd want to look your very best, even for those of us who aren't this close to boiling a bunny!)  wearing a nondescript baggy tee shirt and shorts.  Naturally, the ex was decked out in tight sexy summer togs, forcing our Nat to feel defensive and schlubby in comparison.  Come on- - do any of us really believe that Natalie even owns a plain baggy tee shirt?  So fakey fake! 

As for the senior porn with Debbie, please just stop!  The chocolate scene was cringe-worthy to the max!  BTW, I have nothing against anyone of any legal age  doing anything with a partner as long as both parties are into it, but I definitely do not want to watch! Just ewwwwww!  

For the record, the butt-waxing last week with Vanessa was equally gross.  

I guess I'm just an old softie, but the entire Caesar debacle just makes me feel sorry for him.  The various other participants in this series seem to be in the know, and they've willingly sacrificed their embarrassment in return for a paycheck or dreams of fame or some other self-promotion, but he strikes me as  being genuinely sincere, albeit clueless, needy and pathetic.  He comes across like a sad little puppy.

As far as I know, Natalie is the only one waiting for a Green Card. Didn't Syngin get his already? And Ronald never got to that stage in the immigration process, so Tiffany can just divorce him without a problem.

Watching Natalie squirm was pretty amazing. I think Natalie, given her scoffing at the idea of fishing, purposely wore dumpy clothes, saying like, "Hey, if you want me to look good, you need to plan better than fishing." She also probably thought Candice would be dumpy like Mike's mom, given the outdoorsyness of it all. Super high IQ Natalie would be mistaken.

Candice' body was banging. Her face was a little busted, dark circles under the eyes and not a lot of energy or personality, and she also seemed to me to be intimidated by Natalie by making her catty comments and seeming indifferent to her. IMO, Candice wants to keep the gravy train running, and Josh has the money and the obligation plus desire to take care of her.

Caesar chooses the most attractive of the girls - the one from the Viking place - Antola? She expressed an interest in a few more dates with him to get to know him better. They go for a walk around Kyiv and go back to the hotel. Of course the bar is closed, she doesn’t want to go to his room, so he brings back some wine.

Tiffany meets Fabian the next day. He expresses his interest and wants her to visit him in NJ.

Debbie is liking BC and wonders if she should move there and take a chance or if it is too soon.

Not sure if this has been discussed but how does Natalie support herself?  Is Mike paying for her place in Florida and her single life style.  I assume so since they are not divorced. which would make it hard for Josh to move forward with her if he was inclined to do so.  Of course he loves his life style and already has kids and baby mama's to take care of them. Why would he have a kid with someone as unstable as Natalie who wanted a commitment after ONE date. Plus he would never have enough time for her and she would be on his case constantly about his job and the models he works with.

They don't.  While lots of Americans have said "Well I'll just move to Canada" when they were unhappy with political developments, they learned that Canada is a sovereign nation that has strict controls on who can establish residency.  Deb can visit as a tourist.    At the border she will be asked the reason for her visit, and how she will support herself financially while she's here (including paying for any health care, no it's not free for foreigners).  If Canada Border Services Agency thinks she is simply going to plunk herself into a home in Vancouver without going through the proper channels, she will be turned around and sent home.

Interesting to me that Shaeeda and Natalie are both 37 and anxious to have a baby but are with guys who "already have a family" and won't commit to having any more children. It sounds like Natalie already is aware of possible fertility issues since she hasn't gotten pregnant yet despite starting some kind of treatment in Ukraine.

I think it’s reasonable to inquire about a potential mates’s goals, preferences, expectations, etc. about children, but to me Nat’s way is beyond inappropriate.  The way she acts…..I might be afraid to be upfront with her.  She might get physical.  It’s like she’s demanding it. As if you shouldn’t have asked her out unless you wanted to impregnate her.
 

 I honestly can’t tell if she’s actually that unstable or it’s for show.  I also can’t understand why a man would date her more than once after seeing her meltdowns.  If she truly wants a child, she might consider donor sperm or freezing her eggs.  I have a friend who used donor sperm and it went well.  She has a wonderful adult child who is now in college.

Look, under normal circumstances I'd say you're right.. but Natalie doesn't ask things, she demands it. It's not "are you interested in having more kids in the future whether it's me or with anyone? It's " I want child. Are you going to give me child?" 

Her picker is also off. Josh straight up tells her his life is super busy and he doesn't have time for kids, doesn't have time to even see her really. He's not hiding this information. If she chooses to still see him just because she thinks he's hot, that's on her. But it's also obvious to anyone that he's not that into her. I assume his motive is to be on tv and to grow whatever business he has because I know for damn sure he's not still seeing her because he actually likes her personality.

Looks like all the relationships kind of fizzle out this episode, must be a theme, from the preview.  I swear Caesar is a man of few words, def not a conversationalist ~ he must have said “okay” 40 times in a 60 second clip.

Yeah, this group doesn’t seem very promising.  Better that than a terrible choice though.  I guess my biggest doubts were with Tania and Tiffany.  I just don’t believe their interest in their dates at all.  And Tania now saying she’s into this woman.  It seems beyond staged.  I guess they do what the producer says.  
 

Debbie does seem interested in the guy from Canada.  I’d be shocked if that was staged.

It seems Veronica took a page out of Natalie’s playbook this week when she exploded on Justin for not rearranging his life plan for her. Except at least in Natalie’s case when Josh told her he was unsure about having more kids she didn’t start yelling at him. She was disappointed and confused about what to do, but she didn’t go on the attack or have a full meltdown, as she is prone to do. On the contrary, when Justin revealed his Florida plan to Veronica she got angry and berated him (eventually storming out after he confirmed the move this week). He barely knows Veronica yet she expected him to put her and her desire to have a relationship ahead of his needs or the needs of his kid(s)???? Again, they barely know each other! They’ve had a date or two and a getaway weekend filled with a cold sore and some lingerie. That’s it. I am so puzzled by these women who expect men they barely know to be fully committed and rearrange their entire priority list to favor them after just a few dates. Uggghhhhh. 

I think it was a big mistake for Veronica to go on this single life show - it’s not putting her in a very favorable light. In the other shows she usually seems pretty level headed but now that she’s a main character in this show she’s coming off as needy and hot-headed with rather unrealistic expectations. I hope the “fame” and the paycheck were worth it.
