Popular Post BrownBear2012 May 15, 2020 Popular Post Share May 15, 2020 This episode really disgusted me on so many levels. The drunken behavior at the winery/orchard/pumpkin patch in the middle of the day was gross. Peeing in the cornfield was beyond vile. I can't tell you how many times I took my kids to places like this in the fall and we spent time doing a corn maze...to think that grown ass women were squatting and peeing on it is just vile. Nice "Morgan" behavior Sonja...I'm sure your daughter is very proud of you. Leah seems to be trying to befriend everyone and will do whatever it is they are doing at the moment. They managed to make a wholesome place and a beautiful Fall day ugly and dirty. Dorinda (or aka "Dorito") is awful this season. What a mean, bitter old bitch. She's an angry drunk and she does have a drinking problem. Her constant attacks on Tinsley are just sad and cruel. The mocking tone, the nastiness...it's just horrible. She is a bully and should be fired. I don't feel sorry for her...she has plenty of money and resources...she could be a better person and be happy but she prefers to pick on the weakest person in the group and NO ONE is stepping up to the plate to defend Tinsley...they just make excuses for Dorinda..."She's going through menopause"; "She's all alone"; "She's sad and misses Richard"...waa waa waa....She needs to deal with her drinking issue and get into therapy. She continues to accuse Tinsley of performing sexual favors for money and gifts and everyone just sits there...crickets. Tinsley is emotional and can't properly defend herself...the best thing for Tinsley to do is to ignore Dorinda and walk away everytime she starts attacking her. Ignore and walk away...let her rage at someone else. 3 minutes ago, Cherrio said: I strongly agree with the recent post(er) who reminded us who Dorinda has been since season one. Note to Sonja; Just because the other ladies drink doesn't mean you have to! It's sad to see her not be able to restrain herself for just a few hours. LuAnn actually seemed to be in control of what she drank. I'm glad that she didn't get drunk and fall down in the corn maze! Speaking of LuAnn, she has a lot of nerve to look down on someone and make fun of them because their apartment doesn't meet her standards. It's kind of sad, because unfortunately I think she's very good at stifling her emotions and disassociating, after being raised in an abusive household. I'm not judging her for it. I think she's done a great, great job dealing with the divorce on the show, especially with the added humiliation of it all playing it out so publicly and on television. AND so recently. Much more recently than Richard dying. That's why when she's drinking (in a just having fun sense, not a getting arrested sense, or peeing in public sense, or being abusive sense like the others), having fun, dancing, drinking slutty, hitting on men, I'm happy for her and I don't make fun of her for it or begrudge her for it one bit. She's making the most of things and having fun. I don't care what her age is, she should continue having fun and living her life the way she wants. Funnily enough, drinking never seems to make Ramona abusive. I think Ramona's been at her worst when sober. She likes her wine and she's happy drinking it. And Bethenny used to always say Ramona can drink all day and hold her liquor and the other women cannot catch up. Which tends to explain Sonja falling down and having near death experiences in Miami or jumping naked into pools while Ramona is somehow completely calm and ready to go out dancing. AND why I didn't even care when Ramona left her OWN Hamptons mansion to go party and left all the drunks behind. LOL Edited May 15, 2020 by Ms Blue Jay 1 16 Link to comment

All of these Housewives shows seem so sad and superficial when we think about what’s going on in the real world. She is broken on the inside - she needs to fix herself, and alcohol isn't fixing anything. It's been 9 years since Richard passed. Nine years. My husband died 3 years ago from a 4 year battle with colon cancer at 52; I was married to him for far longer than Dorinda, having celebrated 21 years together. Having gone through what she did, I really don't believe that she hasn't accepted his death yet. Yes, there are waves of grief. But it's been 9 years. His memory shouldn't be this fresh. The pain gets a lot softer. In my view, this has more to do with mourning her lifestyle than missing a man who was married to for 6 years and 11 years ago. That big ass Blue Stone Manor costs a lot of money in upkeep and now she's gotta spend a lot to repair it. If Richard were alive, he'd be taking care of it for her. I believe the money is running out and she knows she is going to have to sell it. She's using his death to justify her drinking, emotional outbursts, anger, bullying. This season, she's saying it's b/c Hannah moved out, the BSM is falling apart and it's all on her, and now the decision to end the relationship with John. The last several seasons she's had drunken outbursts and guess what, we've heard all about her mourning Richard. It's a never ending excuse for her to drink and be sloppy drunk and to explain away her behavior. I'm not saying it isn't sad to lose the love of your life and that you can't mourn years later. But what I'm saying is if 9 years after his death, your happiness is wrapped into a memory and your reactions are excused b/c of grief, you need a lot of professional help b/c there's more under the surface. If Dorinda had taken a moment to listen to what Tinsley was saying at the lunch after the fashion show, she would know it wasn’t about the hair! Was this the life I expected, NO, do I use it as an excuse to be awful to other people NO. I think in some ways Dorindas money has made her worse. I didn’t have time to lay in bed for years drinking myself into a stupor. I had to plan my husbands funeral, handle his grieving parents and two weeks later I had to go back to work so I could eat and keep a roof over my head. I do judge Dorinda because she doesn’t even realize how fortunate she was to be left well off, she has no excuse for not getting therapy, not finding something to fill her life with. I have not dated, I have no plans to do it, my heart isn’t in it. But I have a career, a dog, some nice friends and a nice little house. She is a mean angry drunk and I do not believe it’s due to grief. I think it’s who she is and when people call her on it, she uses Richards death as a get out of jail fee card. Her large, probably "classic six" on the Upper East Side was everything I dreamed about when I was a teenager who wanted to live in the city. I even liked it when everyone else said that the aparment was dated. Her renovations were well done, although I thought the apartment lost some of it's character and became another white on white on white box, like so many other apartments and homes right now. Her new apartment, while nice, just seems a little cold to me - it's like Ramona decorated it from a ZGallerie catalog - just more white on white on beige - no personality. She decorated it like a model home - ready for re-sale. The only lacking in both of Ramona's apartments (old and new) is any kind of outdoor space or terrace. Until Bethenny started making Skinnygirl money and buying/renovating/selling apartments as a hobby, Ramona's apartment and Sonja's townhouse still stand out as the best NYC real estate. Kelly had a nice apartment, too, iirc. Jill's apartment was tiny, Luann's townhouse was also small (and a rental, if I recall correctly), Alex's Brooklyn townhouse was always under construction, Bethenny lived in teeny, tiny apartments. Carole's apartment was also okay, but again, I think it was only three rooms with a scary staircase. Dorinda's apartments were both small. I can't remember Aviva's, Kristen's or Heather's places. I remember Jules' was also very small. I loved Ramona's old apartment too! I honestly think she did a better job decorating a place with a homey, sunny vibe versus the more modern look take. Remember Jill's apartment renovation that was so tacky? Bethenny's reaction to it was so funny! 7 Link to comment

biakbiak May 16, 2020 Share May 16, 2020 Just now, Mar said: And now her response to an Instagram comment. She seems to feel she is in the right... how is that possible??? Because she is a mean delusional bully? The person also didn’t say she could be her daughter. I hate her so much!! 16 Link to comment
Hangin Out May 16, 2020 Share May 16, 2020 I was watching something on t.v. tonight which rang true. He said something like “Don’t keep thinking of what you lost .. think about what you have.” This certainly applies to Dorinda, or anyone I assume. I think someone Billy Bush was interviewing tonight said it. 5 Link to comment
