I think Mike is a generally decent sort of guy, but he doesn’t seem to be flexible enough for a viable relationship.  I’m with him on the veganism, though.  I support anyone eating or not eating anything their heart desires, but I don’t think it’s right for her to insist that he be vegan, too.  I have been there, done that and it is effing awful.  Pay attention to what’s on your own plate.

Yes - It would be impossible for him to baptize the child in the Orthodox Church, and Natalie, if she is so religious, would not baptize a child outside of the Orthodox Church.  And, that apparent non-Orthodox, non-Alien religion wasn't a compromise for their own intended marriage.  

Maybe Uncle Bo will get ordained online and marry them in the barn.
