Syngin, you can see if your town has a temp job place for daily work.

He can do day labor, he can work construction. Landscapers are always looking for help. He can work for one of those "Hunks Hauling Junk" companies. Does he have a CDL license? He can drive a truck. He can work for UPS or Fedex. There are lots of things a young, fit guy can do without experience. Syngin is an idiot. But so is Tania.

I had the (2 part) Shingrix vaccine and just had some arm soreness, but it went away fairly quickly. One of my sons got shingles at 35 on vacation in Hawaii.  I hustled to get that vaccine ASAP after witnessing his suffering.

My mom was set to get the 2nd shingles vax when Covid19 hit so maybe waiting it out isn't such a bad thing. She's 87 and it's such a difficult situation to navigate.

He can mow people's yards, do some odd construction or handyman jobs if able. Work at a grocery store - he is young and strong.

Thank you, I really appreciate that.   Very scary prognosis, especially since I'm relatively young.  I never ever ever in a million years saw this coming.  I was bulletproof for decades.  I should have been killed five or six times in sports stuff, climbing stuff, bicycling crashes, and I dodged bullets year after year, so I was shocked when the doc told me my results.

They’ve got some amazing and highly effective new treatments! Do get a couple of opinions, especially if you have access to a major cancer center.

I am amazed how can these women put up with these guys that do not want to work.  These are young guys able to do any manual and physical work..... Asuelo big guy, physically able selling Froyo..come on, he should be doing construction work.  The same goes for Syngin and Andrei.   Paul should work in Home Depot as a sales person.

Even the ads on TV were quite effective in encouraging getting the vaccine.  I haven't done it yet myself.

My Mom got the shingles vaccine and got shingles anyway, there are different strains of the virus, but the rash and pain were not as bad as it would have been had she not gotten the vaccine.

If I didn't get the job, I don't go drinking.

One time a young guy came into the bar where I worked, looking for a job. He was personable and chatty, seemed like he might fit in well (most of us were in our 20's and we were sociable). So we told him to come back later to see the manager. Well, he showed up later, with his girlfriend, and they started drinking our famous huge martinis (it was the 70's, everyone drank like fish then). He and his gf started making out at the bar, advancing to practically taking each others clothes off. We were dying laughing. when the manager came in, we pointed him out, the kid was trashed, and our manager told him "um, no". Do not combine drinking with a job search, kids. Especially if you want a bartending job.

But if he doesn't work at a bar, how will he get to drink all day at his job?

I live in a large city but in a tight knit neighbourhood. One local couple who own a bar took this 30 plus guy in when his GF kicked him out, gave him a job etc. They never check the cameras but after he was away for a week they made almost double the money they normally do so they checked the cameras. He was giving out free drinks, stealing cash, inviting his friends in to drink and smoke after closing. They fired him and frankly he is lucky they didn't press charges. I saw him the other day and all he did was talk shit about them and thier business.....in this economy. Syngin reminds me of that guy. BTW I saw the footage, they were 100 percent telling the truth.

Now, see, in my area even those kinds of jobs are hard to come by. MCDONALD'S was hiring 20 hours a week, no experience and only a GED required, and more than 100 people applied. The area's mostly farms and they won't be hiring on until the fall. Our county has 4 restaurants and one grocery store. Our unemployment rate is more than 40% and people are getting scarily desperate. But shouldn't Connecticut be better? Isn't he within driving distance of several urban spreads? I'm not being sarcastic, I'm really asking. It feels like there should be a bunch of different opportunities up there that he could try.

Or... maybe he has a job and all of this is fake?

They're in Connecticut. He should be able to find something pretty quickly. Tania should too. There's no way she can't temp. I worked for a temp agency as a placement coordinator and someone like Tania would be very usable as we would say. She's well educated and well spoken. She can sit at a front desk and greet visitors. She can stuff envelopes or file. When I wasn't working for the temp agency any more I signed up with them to work temp a few years later. I was working in retail so I'd just take one day jobs on my day off. Its how I got my job at Harvard--I started as a temp one day a week. Ended up getting hired and staying almost ten years!

I know that injuries can trigger arthritis later in life but it is not guaranteed and is usually genetic. At least that is what I recall when I went to see a specialist after bouts with blood clots and iritis....which apparently can genetically be related to forms of arthritis...who knew?

I have Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a connective tissue disorder, and in addition to wreaking havock on my cardiac and neurological systems (I turned 40 in March and have had 2 strokes and a mild heart attack in the past 12 months) it also causes young adult onset of osteoarthritis. EDS is genetic and is one of the leading causes of early diagnosed arthritis, though some people aren't even aware they have it. It basically attacks all the joints.

At the very least she could shill poop tea!

Before my books paid the bills I worked as a freelance writer from home. Never had to leave the house and had more work than I knew what to do with. Upwork is still going strong.

Thank you for this!  I’ve been lazy getting mine (Gotta go to Walgreens) and then Covid hit...maybe I’ll keep waiting a little longer.  I mean, I’ve heard shingles is bad but....

Had 1st shingles vaccine in Oct, 2nd needed to be 4 to 6 months later. Of course, right in the middle of Covid. Got 2nd one in March, no ill effects either time. Friend at work didn't get vaccine and got shingles. She was miserable and home in bed for almost 3 weeks. Awful blisters. Glad I did it.

If Pole every becomes self sufficient, I’ll eat a steak and as a vegetarian, that’s how confident it will never happen. He’s waiting for his parents to die to see if he gets an inheritance. Hopefully they only put money into a trust for the baby to go to college and get the hell away from his loser father.  I can’t help but think Karine could have done better when she still had her looks on her side

Aselu has a mental disability and it just skeeves me that she she’s having sex with someone with the mentality of an 8 year old.

Thanks for sharing. I may ask my Dr about that as I have a lot of inflammation related health issues and I am still being tested for an underlying cause.

She's supposedly involved with a lot of political actions. Can't she get a job at a non profit or voting rights organizations? Do fundraising?
