I thought The Thornbirds miniseries was too slow moving as a kid, and Shogun was worse. I loved 'North and South' back then but if I watched it now it would probably be pure cheeze.

When I was 7, I used to watch that show. I went to bed afterwards and my mom found me crying. She asked what was wrong and I told her that I didn't think Batman and Robin were going to get out of whatever cliffhanger situation the villain of the week had put them into. She reassured me that, of course they would. Your comment brought back a sweet memory.

Julia goes to a bridal shop/wedding planner business to see about a job in jeans and tennis shoes, why would Brandon no suggest her wearing a job interview suit or at least a nice pair of pants and blouse?  Did she even Google that business before she went?  The level of laziness of either her or the producers was hard to watch and believe Julia wanted anything close to a job in the bridal industry, why wouldn't the shop owner give her more information about the actual job, yes keep the bride, etc...calm but there is so much more.  

Angela, ugh. I think we can all agree that we all prefer an unconscious Angela.

Tiffany, get your son a bed before you get one for yourself, you have plenty of time before Ronald arrives in the US (as in never to arrive in the US).  Ronald says he has a temporary job, he will make some money, drink most of it, it will never be enough to buy airline tickets for everyone.  Also, they just said SA borders had been shut down so how is any of this "who buys the tickets" even a thing to fight about, it is not Tiffany's call whether she goes to SA, the pandemic says it is not an option.

I just returned from a trip to Mohegan Sun, we took a drive up to Mystic and had lunch at a nice place on the water, I saw none other than Tania, took a selfie with her, she was cool with it.  I asked her about Syngin's broken ankle and she told me he is wearing a boot now and is on the mend, I asked her if she watches the show now, she does not.  I would have asked her more questions but the lunchtime margarita kicked in and all I could do was giggle like an idiot...no more day drinking, oh how the tides have changed.  Tania hustled like mad, the place was packed, she must be making good tips, the food was really good.

Next time I will try and stay sober and ask her more questions.

I watched the sneak peak..did they really send Angela  home the same day she had two major surgeries? That doesn’t seem right. 

I had to lol at Liz complaining about multitasking. Welcome to the world of the working mother.  Most women can’t afford a nanny and neither can you.

Ronald trying to manipulate Daniel was gross. Though, I do think she also uses Daniel as a go between and has since the kid could talk...equally gross. I do think she has been whispering in his ear about how terrible SA is. He as super eager to move in with his ‘daddy’ a year ago.

In the financial level Ronald and Tiffany could afford, I bet the living arrangements are as bad as they looked.    (Let's face it, every town in the U.S. has a really bad part too, so I'm not picking on S.A.).       It's despicable for Ronald to try to get Daniel to nag Ms. Cold Shoulders about moving to S.A. if his visa gets turned down(I would hope it's "when" his visa gets turned down).       

Sending Angela to a recovery situation (they have hotels with skilled care for recovery from surgery) from the surgeries is rather normal.   I wish they would have poured a ton of conditioner on her hair during surgery, it needed help too.
