So I am watching this week. Gotta say I love the underdog group, even Karishma, EXCEPT Dean. Wish we could trade Dean for Janet and those are my faves. Even diggin the crazy Noura! I do like Lauren too. Just want Dean, Dan and....well, just those 2 gone for now.

I admit the “loved ones” ep is usually one of my least favourite ones, so that could be colouring my opinion, but  so many of the survivors reactions are just so overwrought now. It’s like it’s expected to be sobbing and emotional and some are so over the top as to be fake. Ugh. The first few this ep were particularly ridiculous

Dean says they couldn't trust Noura-I think they were doing just fine until he ratted her out to Tommy.  Who seriously gets serial killer eyes anytime someone says his name came up.

Anyone not named Lauren, Tommy, Dan, Noura, and Dean needs to win this season.  It's the only redeeming factor.  I can not stand the arrogance of Tommy, Dan, and Lauren.  I can't even stand looking at them.  I can't even fathom making it through the next couple of weeks.

And as if Dan wasn't already Mr. #MeToo, he's also Father of the Year.  

Any chance Rick Devens and Chris Underwood can crash the show this season?

Man, what the hell, Dean? What an idiotic ass. I kind of get what he was going for, but he 100% instigated all of that for no reason. 

But Noura was EVEN WORSE. It took her NO time to spill everything, get everyone to not trust her and ALMOST got herself voted out. Dumbass. What did she THINK was going to happen? 

Karishma's gone, but honestly, I was super excited for the Underdogs to actually take out Tommy. So close. I know Karishma was due to go and I'm glad she is but....man, that was a totally messy Tribal for no good reason. Noura just screwed herself.

Noura ruined it, in all honesty. She IS a liability. 

The family visits were...very minimal. But Jeff helping Noura's sister by allowing her to move closer was very sweet.

Well, I only like Janet and Elaine now.

Oh the irony of Kellee, Ms. "didn't play an idol when she had two and is the reason Dean is still even around because she wanted to make a "BIG MOVE" getting rid of Jack and saving him" saying the players are making dumb moves. 

That said, this was a total dumb move but not surprising with a pretty boy idiot like Dean. Yes, Noura was a loose cannon but what Dean pulled there only all but further guaranteed they're all on borrowed time.

Because now Noura will for sure not work with him and stick to the other four who are just bringing her along until they need to get rid of her. And Elaine's idol is flushed, so they've lost that power. And more importantly, Tommy continues to live to be a smug tool.

Like....the Power Four who Noura called out as an alliance didn't even need to do a goddamn thing. They proved WHY the Underdogs are the Underdogs. Besides Elaine, the other three screwed themselves.

Oh, you missed a good quote from Dan.  He called Dean, Noura, Karishma, and Elaine a bunch of rag tag losers and weirdos.  In front of his 13 year old son, as well as the loved ones of Lauren, Tommy, and Janet.

I was thrilled Janet won, but sad that Tommy was part of her pair.  Equally sad that they picked Dan and Lauren to join them, but it wasn't surprising.

Tommy is an arrogant, condescending POS.  Based on experience with my kids' teachers, I have found that there is almost always something wrong with male elementary school teachers. 

Dan is a sexual harasser.  

Janet has gone from a defender against groping to the groper's best friend.

Elaine is the only one left I can stand.

Can they try casting a few normal, intelligent human beings?

He and Elaine were worried that Noura was a loose cannon who couldn't be trusted, especially when she couldn't seem to get a basic concept as if the other four were splitting and their four all voted one way, it would be 4-2-2 and so they could get Tommy out without even playing Elaine's idol. 

So I guess after thinking about it, he decided to find a way to flip the votes on her by telling Tommy what was coming at Tribal. Of course all it succeeded in doing was blowing up the plan entirely, Elaine wasting her idol and Karishma being voted out anyway, as the other four initially planned and wanted. 

So he, Elaine and Noura continue to be at the bottom, at the mercy of the other four. So yeah, not such a great plan. Noura may be a loose cannon and weird but she'd already shown she had no problems blind siding someone and not screwing it up, when they blindsided Jack.

At the end Karishma says something like she never felt like she was accepted before until today when she was reunited with her husband. The thing is, I have a feeling she's never accepted herself before.

My theory is, Dean continues to think he's some kind of challenge beast, and wants to keep Tommy around because he is a good meat shield.  This, despite the fact that they were the first two to drop in the IC, and Lauren and Elaine were the last two.  And that Aaron, so far, is the only male to have won II.  I agree that I think he believes he's got better standing with that group than he does.  He really is a legend in his own mind.  I was hoping and praying to the Survivor gods that Noura was going to reach over and punch that stupid grin off his face.  Hey, it's Noura.  Show a jury her trying to figure out why 4 is better than 2 with leaves, and they'll let her off.  He totally knew what he was doing.  He knew she was going to go off.  

If he makes the final 3, I hope he's either completely ignored, or dragged through the ringer for doing nothing in the game but getting carried along.

Ordinarily I would say 'hey, at least the big alliance has to turn on each other now.'  But even that's no fun, because Elaine, Janet, and Noura are just the bottom feeders.  The four who should be going next are running the game.  

I will cut Janet a break, for this reason-she had no idea about anything with Dan, and only learned of it from the girls.  She turned against him and tried to get him out, then those same girls who went crying to her backstabbed her.  And said they weren't uncomfortable around Dan, Janet misunderstood, was making it up, etc, etc.  I can't blame her for becoming a former shell of herself in the game, and thinking maybe they were doing that as part of their game play.  Still, I get skeeved out when I see her with him.  At least she knows now.  Her and Elaine are too good for this season.

When Tommy said, arrogantly at TC, the whole 'teaching time with Tommy', I guess because of everything that has happened this season, that just gave me the wrong impression.  Something about Tommy is creepy.

I was so excited at the prospect of the underdogs taking over the smug ones, that I was hoping to see Karishma, Noura, Elaine and Dean as final four.  Yes, even Dean because for a few minutes there I was seeing him through his mother's eyes.  Well that's all over.

I enjoyed seeing the loved ones, especially Karishma's nice man with the cute earlobes.  It's always kind of amazing to see how fierce they get if they don't get chosen for the loved ones lunch.  I thought Karishma's wrecking ball threat would be the episode title.

Dean WTF? That was a crazy TC, I wish they wouldn’t let everyone walk around talking and whispering. I knew this wouldn’t be my favorite episode anyway because it was the loved ones episode. Everyone acts like they haven’t seen their loved ones in a year instead of a month. 
Hopefully Noura goes next week, she’s a loose cannon. You could almost see the jury members wishing she wouldn’t be voted out so they don’t have to put up with her at Ponderosa.  All I care about at this point is that Janet stays in this.

What is there to say?  Dean’s a backstabbing weasel.  Dan’s a slimy weasel.  Lauren has a superiority complex.... but at least she isn’t delusional like Noura who appears to be off her meds.  Tommy’s superiority complex exceeds Lauren’s.  
 

I like Elaine and Janet which probably means neither have a hope in hell of going to the end.    If neither of them make the final tribal, this just might be the first time ever that I skip the finale.

I think delusional Dean just couldn't accept not being one of the "cool kids".

It seems like he has spent his life being a sort of mascot to the cool kids, who laugh at him behind his back.  

He was the talentless, sawed off dweeb on some great HS basketball teams at St. Patrick's.  Then he scored a total of 7 points in 4 seasons as a bench warmer, at Columbia.

The fact is, the episode title says it best. This truly was a pretty damn simple plan. But when you're dealing with idiots, they over complicate shit and you get this hot mess that happened tonight.

That was a serious missed opportunity to take out Tommy on Dean's part BUT given all the footage they showed of how insane Noura was acting regarding the vote, running hundreds of scenarios in her head, I can kind of understand why Dean may not have trusted her.  She is a nut.  That said,  I'm sure this vote will come back to haunt Dean and Elaine. 

Sorry if I'm a cold hearted bitch but the drama of the family visits gets more annoying every season.   The crying is just over the top for me. 😭

But man, would it have been more fun than what we got. What we got instead was less fun and more frustrating. 

I would have still been fine with Karishma going, in that case, but all Noura did here was expose that she cannot be trusted at all and nobody will actually vote for her in the end. She intentionally screwed herself. 

I mean, Dean solidified himself a little bit with the majority but made himself to look like a snake to the jury, which may not benefit him if he DOES make the finals.
