I have such Carly-fatigue.

Is this just so she and Drew can 'fall in love' during an adventure?

She's going through a divorce and her daughter was just the victim of revenge porn, why doesn't she just take care of her own damn business and NOT get all up in Drew's!?!?

( And so help me, if Victor manages to activate Drew's conditioning and effin Carly breaks through it with a tearful declaration of love, I'm headed back to the barge)

Why can't any relationship in GH have nuance to them? The second that real!Jason returned, she demanded that Drew give up the life he built with Sam so Jason can be made whole, even carrying out plans to get Sam and Jason back together. He doesn't have to hate her, but can't he at least have him remember how willing she was to do this to him, and she hasn't changed.  Why does Drew have to constantly give her a tongue bath. He was the one imprisoned and tortured.  I am not asking for the writing precision of Breaking Bad, they took tons of time on 13 episodes a season, but they can remember some history.

So let me get this straight, Drew blows an undercover sting operation to save Carly's phone!?! Really. He knew that Dante and Sam were listening and recording the whole thing. They had Victor on the ropes.

Victor didn't tell Johann to throw Carly over the bridge - just her effing phone. Drew, be a better hero, please. Carly can afford a new phone.

At this point, I wouldn’t include Drew on anything. He wasn’t especially useful on the Peter mission and he was dumb enough to tell big mouth Carly about Victor.

IA. I’m not a Drew fan so I don’t care if they go there but I have zero interest in watching them trying to portray soccer mom Carly as an adventure girl so they can bond. Especially when she was never that character, even in her younger years.

I remember, years ago, with her speaking with JMB's Lulu about her relationship with Johnny vs concentrating on college. It was one of the most insulting "I'm different for other girls" screeds I had every witnessed, and that is saying something. Cause dammit, she just isn't the type of girl that has it in her to be a coed but wants something more exciting. (I am not against anyone that decides being on the college track isn't for them, but how dismissive they were about girls that actually enjoyed everything about college). Then Carly, the narcissist that she is, tells Lulu how she isn't some fucking homebody or nester like dowdy Laura, but totally adventurous like her. Never mind that Laura had spent much of her 20s and 30s traveling the world on spy missions or on the run with Luke, and even lived in Europe with Lulu off and on and was in Europe (for treatment)* when Carly said that. Also ignoring that Carly had pretty much stayed put in Port Charles for the last 15 years at that point. The difference is that Laura would put the well-being of Lucky and Lulu over being adventure girl, something both Luke and Carly wouldn't do. Carly is drama girl, not adventure girl. She is too high maintenance for that. Tracy is more adventure girl than Carly.

*edited to add: Laura hadn't permanently woken up yet

Lmao
Jasonlite "didn't you think about your kids?"
Carly; "No, didn't even cross my mind."

Truer words never spoken.  Now the bigger question is why is this dumbass (Jasonlite) simply not going to Kevin and I dunno... become de-conditioned?

Shut up Shawn

what ulterior motive does Nina have to be with her grandson, dumbasses. this is so freaking frustrating. also they want to go to Paris so badly they don't have proper childcare secured for their spawn?

Oh please. please let this reporter sue Michael for assault. (and also. he does bring up a good point. i remember learning in law classes that a lot of sex videos released was done by one of the participants. a lot of times they deny it, but then they basically want to have the 15 minutes of fame and what not. I am more surprised more people aren't pushing that angle than "oh yeah of course it was Esme."

Jordan is my hero.

willow faints because Michael gets arrested. lol okay.

So while that reporter was gross, I cheered Michael getting arrested. At his big age, he needs to learn that he can’t go around assaulting people with no repercussions and he already got off 2 undeserved cheap shots on Chase and Scott

He quit the Invader because Alexis wouldn't publish his story about whatever it was. The actor is terrible—he really overplays it.

I thought Shawn had already left for San Francisco, but apparently not.

Drew, you should be angry that Carly barged into your dumb plan for Victor, not applaud her "bravery" for filming things. FFS. He's useless.

And Now. we see the Carly work her pheromones. When the man says "She's brave." it is apparent that the male is hooked and wants to get into her pants. All that is missing is "you are strong." this will allow the Carly to get appropriately turned on, and spread her legs for the male, unless it's the Jason. the Jason would simply look at the Carly with dead eyes and tell her to count to ten. while the Carly lusts for the Jason

Reporter, extra smarmy, but Jordan can throw away the key.

Does anyone know when real Harmony is coming back? I'd hate if the beats of the story were to be played out by a temp who is not on par for the task. Neat twist at the end there with Phyllis recognizing Lorraine Miller.

I didn't even think about pregnancy for Willow until you guys brought it up. TAKE IT BACK! This should never be written down because it might come true. I think Willow was having a panic attack or something. And it's interesting that with everything she's gone through, rich white guy and so-called pillar of the community being arrested is what would send her over the edge. The women who get involved with Michael are turned into spineless weaklings unless they're doing his bidding, in which case, watch out!

I'm gonna go bleach my brain of everything Drew/Carly. My life has been blown up. Jason, Jason, Jason, more talk about Jason, some more talk about Jason, not enough talk about Jason, so more talk about Jason, Jason, Jason, looks star-eyed over Drew at the end.

Even when BM was completely isolated into the Oscar has cancer bubble because his character wasn't allowed to interact with anyone relevant anymore, he still had more personality than that husk of a man who is pretending to be Drew.

Seriously. Why did they even bring him back? I'd say run, Drew, but at this point, he deserves whatever he gets.

Spencer/Esme scenes were A++++++.

All Billy did was roll his eyes and was grumpy because he hated being on the show (which was true).  I think I still prefered that than whatever CM is playing now.  Drew is dull and CM is basically playing Dear Abby.

i am loathe to defend him. But the argument was Monica already agreed, but Willow pointed out that was before she had to plan for Jason's memorial, so Michael was going to ask her if she could still do it. (because she offered first). before they tried to find someone else. (but it couldn't be Carly - because she's too busy "being upset", couldn't be Harmony, and It can't be Nina because of her ulterior motives about spending time with the brat)

I’m never going to not find it weird that Michael’s 75 year old grandmother who runs an entire hospital is also an on call babysitter. Like I’m sure the kid has a live in nanny if we’re supposed to believe that Michael is a busy CEO and Willow is in school. Even if he didn’t, there was absolutely no one else out of his zillion relatives that can watch him?

Willow's "Did I miss date night?" exaggerated response screams spousal abuse to me. As did Michael pushing so hard for Willow to be on the airplane. Right. Now.

I'm glad Alexis said no to Shawn. He's way too controlling.

Sam thinks that Dante doesn't want to use Spinelli for egor, not because using Spinelli would be breaking all types of laws and Dante is a cop.

Drew, and everyone else, should be smacking Carly down for interfering in a police investigation, not praising how brave&strong she is. That so-called flirting around the Tarot card was 🤮

Carly: "The worst mistakes I've made in my life are when I went along with someone else's choice, when I didn't make it my choice." 🤣🤣🤣🤣 "It came to the time I was making myself small."  Says the woman who takes up all the air in the building. Seriously, how can anyone be that self-delusional? Short of being in a psychosis that is.

Congratulations, GH, Drew is now completely fast-forward material.

To slobber over Carly in case Jason and Jax couldn't.

Ruining both any potential for Drew and making Carly an even worse character than if she had to manage her life on her own.

I have a really difficult time believing I'm supposed to find Michael romantic. And her fainting because Michael is arrested after a typical douche mood of using his fists? She's hyperventilating because she's pregnant, of course. That's the only reason women on GH faint.

That [Carly morphing Drew into Jason] would actually be interesting and fucked up lol.

That would be a great story - grieving Carly latches on to moorless Drew and slowly, subtley tries to transform him into Jason until someone - Sam?  Monica?  Michael? - has to intervene.

But they'd never.

Or it's the first telltale symptom of  some previously unheard-of disease that will reveal that Harmony is not her mother, but for  which a miraculous cure will be discovered after the You're Not My Mother fallout fades away.

Invader reporter - Is Port Charles more like New York City or Mayberry, because it is hard to believe the amount of interest there is in the Joss & Cam video, which hasn't even become a criminal issue yet. What will happen when someone finds out that Willow's birth certificate is forged? That might be worth a journalistic investigation.

This stuff usually goes through a rare blood type or some DNA nonsense. I remember Nikolas donated blood for Sam because they share the same rare blood type. I don't remember if it was before or after the Alexis reveal happened.

I didn't expect that Phyllis would know Harmony at all. So at least the storyline seems to finally be moving along.

Okay, folks. Let’s be honest with each other. Monica doesn’t care for any of those grandchildren warehoused at the mansion. They’re taken to the attic and drugged until their “parents” remember that they have kids and oh, yeah, they’re at Grandma’s! We might need to go get them. But first, let’s have a drink at the MetroCourt or Charlie’s Pub.

He's a smug, bullying, man-baby, so yeah, not the least bit hot.  And what an absolute ridiculous conversation about not having Wiley's childcare figured out hours before they wanted to jet off to Paris--not to mention Willow taking that chance to again bring up Nina so Michael could make his "I gotta go boom-boom" face and pontificate how Nina bad, Willow/Michael good.

As to the fainting, I'm leaning towards some medical condition that will move the 'Nina's really her mom' storyline along.

Man, Carly and Drew have ZERO chemistry.  Actually, LW isn't a romantic/sexual chemistry magnet with anyone.  That's not a slam on her age--hell, Maura West sparks with almost everyone--just something about her persona.  Someone said 'soccer mom' and that is very apt.

Lastly, Carly?  If Jason "was there" he wouldn't have to roll his eyes at a memorial for him because by virtue of him being there there wouldn't be a memorial.  Also, the whole burden on poor her for having to sit there and listen to those "other people" talk about Jason when they, unlike her, didn't really know him.  Shut up, you cow.

IMO LW has always struggled with romantic chemistry. She’s the only female vet whose never had a “hot” pairing. Her best one was CarJax but I even found them lukewarm. It’s the opposite of the first 2 Carly’s who were chemistry magnets.

The knowing the real Jason crap will always annoy me because god forbid she remembers that this is the brain damaged version of Jason and he had a whole life before this along with loved ones. The “real” Jason would have hated what he became and how he treated his family, Ironic when she gets mad at everything Sonny did while he had amnesia.

I  just finished catching up.  Surprisingly, I did see some chem between Drew and Carly.  LW is their leading lady and will always been on constantly until we want to throw up, so you know she is going to be coupled up.  Always.  I still like BM's Drew better, but Carly was a bit sparkly and went light on the screeching, so I guess I can live with it.

I think where the Sprina story is headed is that Trina is going to be arrested now that Esme planted that phone on her, and Spencer is going to come forward and alibi Trina, at the cost of possibly or even likely more jail time for himself.  Esme and Spencer are def done.  Sydney was magnificent and I am going to really miss her.

I nearly pissed myself laughing when Willow fainted.  Tho what I did not find funny is how she acts around Michael.  She always seems fearful that he's going to explode and is always trying to keep him calm.  This totally reads as an abusive relationship and I honestly think the writers don't see it.  It's sad to me.

When is Sydney's last day? I'm so bummed she is not going to play this out. It's like when TB's Carly left right before she was reunited with Michael.

I was hoping maybe Willow was having some kind of PTSD and is starting to feel the same stress and fear with Michael that she felt around Shiloh.

What a flashback.

I remember when LW was new to Guiding Light, still in her 20s. She wasn't new to daytime; she'd been on Loving/The City, but that was always the lowest-rated soap. The buzz surrounding her as Cassie was that she may not be long for daytime; she was going to get scooped up for movies or prime-time because she was a "new Meg Ryan." (The existing Meg Ryan was peaking. You've Got Mail, the last of her really huge rom-coms, was soon to come.)

I don't know whether there's anything to this, which means it's shameless gossip-site stuff, but what I've read is that LW got taken under the wing of Kim Zimmer and took her as a model. KZ's philosophy, according to this telling, is that if you're in a scene, you have to own that scene. Go big or go home. Don't worry about overshadowing the other actors; it's on them to keep up. It's a performance style that may thrill the fans of that diva (or character), but others find it overbearing and too much.

I could believe it, comparing later LW to early LW. But then, LW in her "new Meg Ryan" phase wouldn't have been an obvious choice for Carly Corinthos.

I really, truly don’t want to defend Michael. But the ‘on route is the airport’ comment was about whether to allow Harmony more time with Wiley, not about who would watch him while they jetted off to Paris ‘right now’ without any notice to Willows supervisor. She said she cleared the trip but I’m sure her boss didn’t mean ‘sure you can leave any time you want. Don’t worry about your shift or giving us time to find someone to cover. You Just go have fun.’

Funnily enough, I did catch a spark from LW at the very end of their conversation, but I honestly don't even care because Carly is such a toxic character. There's nothing wrong with her being single, maybe she won't feel so "small" anymore and she'll stop listening to those people who lead her astray because this revisionist history is exactly what we've had on screen since this stupid character was created.

One of the things that bothered me the most is how Drew who is working with Sam and Dante on bringing down Victor did not think to tell them which tarot card is what and what the sentences to activate his conditioning and end it are. Not in a sharing mood, are we?

Also, stop talking about your navy seal days since you don't remember them. Yes, we know, you were a navy seal. Hooray for you!

Victor should just disappear Drew at this point. He's as dumb as a box of rocks and not needed. And it makes me sad to say that because I really loved Drew and his qualities, like how much he loved his family, his daughter, his mother and was willing to go the distance for them.

It feels like the writers decided to rearrange the chairs on the deck because of the Burton situation. Could have gotten vaxxed and spared us a Drew/Carly pairing, but no!! So thanks for that.
