Same story. Pretty sure that Peter called up a favor to distract Robert and Holly ended up "dead." So I pretty sure they are going to say it eventually that it was Victor. And I am pretty sure that Luke is with Holly now.

Unpopular opinion, but if they are not going to kill Peter (and they aren't for the time being), just admit the truth and deal with it and the horrible mess of custody as Peter actually gets some form of visitation. Because I don't think he is going back to prison.

I actually missing Sonny's real PH. That set was around for decades with different characters: Traccy, Sean, Robert and Holly, and later Sonny and various Corinthii and Corinthii adjacent. I had actually wanted Michael to take Wylie and sigh (Willow) to live there as that was his real childhood home before Sonny and Carly broke and they had those seperate houses.

It seems this is a setup for some kind of long-simmering Cassadine revenge plot for the Ice Princess. If it ends up with Laura getting the ultimate revenge, I’m all for it. And if Helena somehow resurfaces in the process, I’m good with that, too. But I don’t think I trust the current team to respect history and do a good story at the same time. We’ll see.

Well, 2022 started with no Carly and no Sonny so that was a plus.

I do hope Luke's "death" will focus on Laura and Tracy and not Sonny's pain. I also agree with everyone saying the news loses some of impact with all of his kids not currently on the canvas. 

And some will have to explain why Drew is such an amazing soldier that Victor is still angling to get him under his control. Like, with all the Cassidine resources they can't kidnap another Marine? Really?

Add journalism to the list of things GH does incredibly poorly. Sean's "big" exposee is an HR dispute with both sides agreeing to a settlement and  non-disclosure??  So... How did he get the story? And what's the conflict if both sides came to terms?!?!?

tbh the Great Value penthouse set looks a lot better to me than the horrific attempt at bringing back 'the brownstone' which looked like Mr. Rogers' house a few years ago, or the Q mansion redesign which I still don't like and looks small and cheap.

If Victor is so keen to avenge all the wrongs done to the Cassadines that he offered to exact revenge on Brook Lynn, then he needs to go after Peter. Which he won't even though it's better bonding with Valentin. Hypocrite.

Did Franco have OneDrive or some other cloud storage? Is the recording of Peter killing him going to magically appear on the tapes that Scott gave Cameron and Aiden?

Britt is not just CoS at the hospital, she's Peter's sister. She has more right to be in there than Martin. And Holly. Is Alexis the only women who hadn't been with him?

Michael cut his hair. Michael is like well. I lied to you about DA Dumbass,, You lied to me about Dad and Nina so let's call it even and give each other grace since we have to be all on the same page with Wiley anyway. Willow (growing some sense) is like. um no. this is SO not the same thing. One impacted wiley and one.. didn't. Michael is like wait why aren't you bowing down to my will?

Harmony shows up. apparently Willow finally decided to call her. Harmony gives a present and Wiley just takes it and splits. but says thank you later. Harmony blows smoke up this kids butt and all I am seeing is them making Michael 2.0.  they infodump on Harmony about Nina. Willow goes. "well Nina looked upset, but maybe I'm naive." Harmony insta goes. "is that what Michael told you." YES HARMONY. Question Michael's ass.  Harmony goes trust your instincts, and if you think Nina means no harm then in her opinion Wiley benefits from Nina being around vs. Nina being a ghost. Michael shows up, and goes "sooo whatcha talking about." Willow goes "Nina". Harmony goes. "Look. you should trust my daughter's instincts." Michael purses his lips and goes "well how is this any of YOUR business?" Harmony deploys an "excuse me?" face and Willow has an "oh no face."

Tracy is awesome and is telling BLQ to stop the crap and dish about the baby. she basically is like why are you still lying about this if you were found out, and OMG YOU ARE NOT STUPID TO STEAL A BABY. Oh Jane Elliot. You give me life. BLQ is like no she's not stolen, so lets leave this it's none of your business. Tracy is like um. you are passing her off as a Q, this SO makes this my business. then tracy is like. heh heh you and mr. law and order (chase) because she's like why is chase lying for you. BLQ is like we just friends, and Tracy is like I don't believe you

Anna and Felicia is suspect of Maxie's behaviour. Felicia thinks she knows why. She thinks Maxie is in super denial. Both super spies are like we did the same thing. Felicia starts to break down because how does she know Louise is alive, Anna is like let's not. do this. 

Maxie is questioning Austin and Britt about Peter. She's freaking out. Col.Tad shows up. Peter wants him to be his lawyer. He wants him to prove he didn't kill Franco. okay i legit don't have the energy to recap this crap. Col Tad says 50k retainer, and I'll only deal with Franco. Peter is like done. Why Col. Tad, WHY?! :( Col Tad thinks he might be able to poke holes. Maxie wants to know the details, Col. Tad breaks her heart and Maxie is like I helped you on New Years!!" Col. Tad is like. this is business and NY is pleasure. 

Maxie shows up to Anna and Felicia and they go. "we need to search for Louise." Maxie is like. um... but Robert shows up to tell them about Luke. Felicia can't imagine a world without Luke. Robert is like it's like I lost a brother. Maxie wants to stop by Q's and Felicia says i'll drive you. Anna says "first holly and now luke." they are glad they are together. they look back at god times. . 

Val has no time for Mr Sheffield. Mr Sheffield brings up Bailey. They get to the crux of the matter which is BLQ, and Mr Sheffield goes. "why don't we show BLQ what it means to cross a Cassadine?" val is like really? and Mr. Sheff goes. "stronger together!" Col. tad shows up. and says to Val he's repping Peter. Val's face is like excuse me?! Col. Tad is like Peter has the right to justice. Col Tad is like look. I have bills to pay. cyrus isn't covering for Mama anymore. I wasn't working in Witness Protection and I have to pay 3x alimony. Val is like... I have to go. Col. Tad is like you're punishing me?! Val is like. YOU were late, i have to go.  Val hits the elevator and Mr. Sheffield the elevator with him. Mr. Sheffield goes let's go after BLQ. She disrespected our family name, and we need to right this terrible wrong. Val just looks at him.

Britt is trying to go see Peter, but Austin stops her. Britt goes i need to go see peter. Austin goes when was the last time you saw him "When he killed jason and tried to do me and Lisel." Austin is like it's not a good look if you kill him. Britt is basically all. "whatever." and goes to see Peter. Peter is like. "sup sis." Again. no energy for his dumbass. hahaha Britt calls Peter a dumbass. it gives me life. Britt goes i am so glad we never grew up. you bring pain. she rubs in louise's disappearance, and it hurts peter. Britt goes good. Britt also goes "i despise you." Peter goes good i'll let the guards know, they are looking for the person who poisoned me. Britt goes, bitch please, if i poisoned you, I'd have gotten the dose right. plus I don't want you dead, i want you rotting and miserable for the rest of like in supermax. 

Okay. this is dumb. Why not just WORK FOR PCU, ALEXIS? anyway Sam is all wha are your plans for mom/the papers. this reason shawn is making alexis to work at the paper is dumb. you need NEWSPAPER people at a news paper.  anyway. belgh blehg, Alexis do you want the job. Maxie and Felicia show up and give their best to Tracy. Tracy insta sees Maxie gloom to Bailey BLQ is like. OOOH LET'S CHANGE BAILEY. They take bailey and is like "Granny knows about bailey not being mine."   Felicia and Tracy are talking, Felicia is like, it must be so hard for Maxie. being around Bailey. We've never met Louise. we keep hoping .. but after seven months (SEVEN MONTHS?!), it's hard. Tracy goes. seven months? you mean Bailey and louise is the same age? Felicia islike yeup.  Tracy stares at the bassinet.  Again. Tracy and Jane Elliot gives me life. just cutting through all the bs. 

Britt and Austin are bonding and having fun. Austin goes GO SEE THE MATCHMAKER. 

Maxie is freaking out, BLQ is like how was I not supposed to do. Maxie is like this is bad what if she figures it out. BLQ is like well no one else has. Maxie goes. BUT NO ONE IS AS SUSPICIOUS  AND SNEAKY AS TRACY (and smart don't forget smart!). BLQ has the OMG, you are right face. lol. 

BLQ brings Bailey who is fussy back into the living room and asks Tracy to watch her. and then questions if this is a good idea. Tracy snaps she managed to raise Ned and Dillion she can handle this kid, but if anything happens she'll call her. BLQ goes sure, and then Tracy looks at the baby and says. "Haven't you had the most interesting life Bailey. Or should i call you Louise?"

Where do I begin?

Tracey figuring out that Bailey is Louise inside 5 minutes and Chase figuring out that BL is raising Maxie's baby inside 24 hours of being stonewalled and told where to go shows just how utterly stupid the population of PC is.

That said, I think that the time will come when Peter will also figure it out, escape and kidnap her. But not before he does some damage on his way out. I think that's what's coming. Between Victor pushing Valentin to get vengeance on BL and people starting to figure things out and talking in the open about it, the secret will come out. And apparently we're going to have a trial for Franco's murder. So another 4 months of this drivel? Plenty of time for BL and Chase to get together, and for BL to become the new walking womb. Nobody has been pregnant in a week now, which is a new world record.

CD is balding and Michael is the absolute worst. His whole you lied and I lied so it's the same thing was such a Carly thing to say and he is constantly in attack mode. The way he spoke to Harmony after she told him to trust Willow's instincts was just wow! She didn't tell you you had bad breath or that your dick was small. Which he probably does anyway considering the way he's been trying to crush Willow under his boot. I think that Harmony sees it. And I think that Willow is seeing it too. 

It seems to me that Willow's pink-colored glasses are off and that she is starting to smell the fart. The camera panned too often on her face today after Michael said something dumb for this relationship not to be hitting the skids soon.

And I for one welcome it.

Maybe they hired a new hair and makeup person because both Michael and Maxie looked better today. Michael’s hair was at least combed back and not as greasy. Maxie’s hair and makeup both looked good, a miracle for her. 

I hate that Martin is representing Peter but I did like that he just walked away when Maxie asked him what he wanted with Peter. I wish more people would do that. It’s none of her business and like he says, business is business. This is the Martin we were first introduced to. 

Aww, I remember when Luke and Felicia were a thing for a bit there.  It was when Felicia was writing Lila’s “memwhas”. God she irritated me with the way she pronounced that.

Alexis is such a desirable potential employee! Not only did Sam want her to join in the PI business (at least a little bit), but she could be a college professor, and now do something (I still don't understand what) at a newspaper. All of these with zero job experience in the area. I get that some skills can be useful in different fields but you'd think that some experience in the field would be required. 

 

I can't believe how disrespectful Michael was to Harmony. He acted as though she was some random stranger not his de facto MIL. He couldn't even manage to be polite, his "no disrespect, but..." notwithstanding. In my experience, when someone says, "no disrespect, but...", disrespect is exactly what they intend. It looked like maybe Willow is adding up the slights, the entitlements, the disrespectful behaviors, and the bloom could be off the rose.

Eh, if I was to pair Britt with one of the new Q's, I would have preferred Drew over Austin.  It's fine so far, I guess, I just hope the show takes it real slow (and that Roger Howarth cuts his hair).

I loved Tracy's interrogation of Brook and her almost immediately clocking what went down with her and Maxie.  She's the best, and it was fun to have her and Amanda Setton in scenes (Brook was off-canvas during her last visit, right?).

Anna mentioning how Luke got her through Robin's "death" just reminded me he used it as an excuse to seduce her, if memory serves, yuck.

Backing up to yesterday, hey, they mentioned Skye!  I would so love to see her.

While I didn’t care for how the show gutted Luke and Laura-with Geary’s whining about them, forgetting he wouldn’t have gotten there if  NOT for their love story, or for Luke in the last few years before he left, I was a fan of the character and the adventures of Luke and Laura. 
 

But I have seen FUCKING FRANK and his writers, gutting and massacring all characters and couples that made this show and part of its history that he wasn’t a part of. Like wiping out Robin and Jason and their bridge-trying to convince viewers who were there, that the bridge is something that has meaning for Jason and that SHEBEAST. How Laura, even a few years ago,  couldn’t even speak Luke’s name, or that she shared a great love with him. Anna. 

So of course I’m not surprised he’s “killed” Luke offscreenville.

And I don’t care how unpopular this opinion is.

I especially liked when Victor said something like “how random that the great Luke Spencer was killed in such a silly accident” because I was thinking the same. 😂

I adored the L&L pairing, even when they came back as a family. I enjoyed all their adventures with Anna, Robert and Holly. 

But I could not stomach Bill Eckart and TG’s ridiculous ego so I was super happy when he finally left for (I hope) good.

I hope they keep him dead and can’t wait to see the emotional scenes with GF and others. I would like to see some past characters too. Surprisingly, it was JZ asking Luke to call her back that made me tear up. I thought the desperation was well done.

I’m also happy to see Jane back although I agree about the weird hair, especially  in contrast to the spectacular cut that suited extremely well during her previous visit.

Glad to see Michael's haircut, at least. CD must have somehow intuited the gifs that GH fans were going to create with his crazy post-punch hair.

I think it's obvious Luke's not dead, and he must be holed up with Holly in some dungeon. But, as others said, there's no evidence Geary would ever come back. 

Going back to yesterday's show: As a little sister myself, I loved Bobbie's detail about Luke always saying a holiday call counts if it's before Three Kings Day. That's such a big brother "out" to take!

I randomly remember Luke dancing around the penthouse singing "Going to the Chapel" on the day of the wedding. (Presumably when it was Robert's.) And didn't Monica and Sean hook up there, when Sean lived there?

Whether Luke's really dead or not (probably the ladder), Tony Geary would only return for a guest appearance maximum anyhow, not for a longtime stint, so no big worries for all Luke haters. And I always enjoyed TG's performances, so I would not really mind.

We just found out that Victor is behind Luke's presumed demise and that he is targeting Laura next, so it looks like the Spencer Cassadine conflict will be resuscitated, and I am all in for that. And how Spencer will fit into all of this, as he just started to connect with Victor. 

The first three episodes of 2022 each included 4 Golden Age actors every day <yay!> which has at least partially to do with Luke's supposedly demise. And today Lucy will be back. She was a friend of Luke's back in the day, as was Alexis, right? Am curious to see how they will react to his "death".

If all of this leads up to Luke bringing Holly back to his best friend and her one and only true love Robert, then IMO it will all be worth it in the end.
Sad RFS on yesterday's show broke my heart big time. 

And finally, it is sooo ironic that Kin Shriner is on a leave of absence right now, as Scotty would be the one celebrating big time that his longtime rival is finally gone for good (for now).
I so wish that we could see Mr Schnitzel's reaction.

Edward came back from the dead once, also.  Which is weird because he was a ghost before he came back.  If we're including deaths where the audience was in the know, Alan came back. But he staged his death and Edward and Jimmy Lee were in the loop, so I feel like it shouldn't be counted.

Sometimes I do see shows where I think male writers are trying to knock the "independent professional woman" down a peg with that kind of story, but I actually don't think that was the intention here. If I were guessing, I'd say they were just trying to do something to shake up a character who had been around for a long time. They had a lady lawyer spare (Diane) to pop up and say nonsense to get people out of PCPD lock-up. NLG always gives 100 percent with heavy drama, so they gave her a "downward spiral" knowing she'd make a lot out of it. And she has gotten years of material out of slowly working her way back up.

(As an aside, I also don't think the thing she went to jail for, going nuts and giving someone an injection against their will, was the writers mocking NLG for her personal views, which is a theory I've seen. That was in January of last year, so it was probably written and shot several weeks before vaccines were even rolling out.) 

I'd still love to see her get her law license back, though, and I never rule anything out. It's the show where a serial killer got off the hook with a magic tumor, and the mob boss got pardoned by the governor.

Those were men. The wimmins rarely get that sort of redemption. Look at what's happening right now to Nina and Harmony. It's not quite the same level, but they aren't allowed to whine that everyone is so mean for holding their transgressions against them and everybody needs to just get over it.

I reluctantly agree that this is probably the case. "Reluctantly" because I hate to give these writers any benefit of the doubt, heh. There were definitely better ways to change Alexis's life, though.

A day later and I'm still thinking about how obnoxious and rude Michael was to Harmony.  I seriously think he doesn't want Willow to think for herself and anyone who encourages it is in his crosshairs.   Harmony very gently suggesting he respects Willow's opinions/instincts was met with him pontificating on how great a guy he was for ~allowing her to be in his house (and it's not even HIS house).

I'm not defending Tracy's actions but Tracy did say outside of the Ned/Olivia thing, she also did it so Alexis could get sober/dry out and said so. Alexis didn't and then she stabbed Dante. so like. again. Whatever. be all smugcows)

Gladys is all i cry for you and Liam. Brando is like and Sasha, and Gladys is like oh yah right.Sasha is like yeah not here for breakfast.ready for work. they deploy ILY's. (I feel these are kinda ...route. but whatever). Gladys isn't buying Sasha's we're good. i can't remember if there was more. it was boring. I am tired.

Deception is going public. Lucy is like YAY GO US. yadayada, Sasha shows up, yada yada you shouldn't be there. Sasha is like. yeup i'm good. Bailey shows up and Sasha starts all. "awwww. baby, your parents will always have you..." now she's sads She runs off. and i legit thought she was going to pull out drugs (she doesn't. i'm slightly disappointed). 

Dante and Sonny are infodumping. Dante wants to know if Sonny WANTED Nina to stay over. Sonny is crying because he has feelings for Nina and can't get rid of them. Sonny is still blaming Carly for not turning around/coming to him sooner. Dante says stop telling me about this and tell Carly (ie: don't say "What do you want me to say, carly?)

Show ends with Sonny coming home and Carly looking annoyed.
