OMG!!! No one is making you "give up food." They're "making" you give up eating a bucket of fried chicken as an appetizer.

Noooow she is starting to want food.  I knew it.  While it was all excitement for her, she coped just fine.  As soon as something happened to throw her off-balance - her progress instantly went down the drain.  She has literally zero ability to cope with any stress.  Therapy is coming!

The problem is she’s stuck in a child role. She wants the idealized parents she never had. But she’s almost 30 and the parents are around 60 so that ship has sailed. She needs to build an adult life, not be a perpetual child like Whitney.

So Mom moves to Houston, and now Lacey backs out of surgery?   I guess they only could afford a one bedroom, so Mom's bed is in the living room.    Please tell me the shrink won't be Lola.

They won't cancel the surgery for the bipolar, but they sure will if she ate all of that breaded, fried chicken, and if she made the number of fast food stops I'm guessing at on the way.       I don't blame the Mom for being mad about backing out of surgery after they moved.

Mom's diagnosis is total enabler, who doesn't want to lose her food buddy.  Really, Mom was pissed from the second Dr. Now told her she was still fat, and when he saw she hadn't lost an ounce, and she said she was eating fruit.

Not Pimple Popper again!

I have solved our eating issues! Bucket o' chicken!

(Speaking of chicken, I went to Buffalo Wild Wings [not my choice because I don't eat wings and generally don't like places where I'm surrounded by 41 TVs] last night and had a really nice salad with grilled chicken and lemon vinaigrette. Came with yummy garlic toast - not too much garlic, lightly crispy but not crunchy.)

Well, here's the mom drama.

Uh oh, here comes the only alternative is fast food scene, twenty pieces of fried chicken. Wow, Dr. Now cancelled the surgery and told her go to therapy? Is that a first? Did she say she was bi-polar?

She almost sounded like she was relieved to have the stress of her family as an excuse to eat.

Yes! You could see in in her face, tone and body language—she instantly regressed to a childlike role.

Why do these overweight women on this show always wear tank tops with all the flab hanging out? I am paranoid about covering up and I am less than 1/3 of their weight

I am not sure because this is has never happened to me but they may be hot? I’ve always been fat but I’m very cold blooded.

Also many fat women complain about arms being too tight. Again I’ve never had this problem despite being fat my whole life BUT I’m a pear shape and wear straight sizes up top.

UGH.

What I want from this show: actual drama.

What I don't want from this show: manufactured "will-she-or-won't-she" drama. Here's how this is going to go -- Lacey will see Dr Paradise or Dr Lola, have a breakthrough in three minutes, and decide to have the surgery after all.

Probably they are too hot for sleeves.

So mom is all "You're going to get out here and talk to me!". But when Lacey lumbers out to talk to her, she snots "Just leave me alone!" Poor Lacey has bipolar disorder and whiplash.

I would go to my room and ignore my mom if she was like that, too.

Also, I'm sorry but I'm loving the corn chip horn on this lady's head and can't WAIT to see the episode tomorrow night.

Why does Lacey need Mom in Houston anyhow? She’s 29, mobile, can care for herself and prepare meals for herself. Lacey seems to be stuck in a child role. She needs to send her mother packing.

I think the doctor recommends they have someone to help them right after the surgery when they can't get around.

Well this is interesting!  I know Mom bears some responsibility, but hell she did lose maybe 100 lbs, we've certainly seen fatter family members on this show.  She had to move for a year to Houston and now bratty daughter doesn't know how she feels about surgery?  Hmmmm.  And did anyone catch the yelling of "NO-AH" which seems to be how kids pronounce "no" now.

Her arms are way out of proportion and she probably can't get them into sleeves.
