We just got back from Panama a week ago. Luann former husband family member (Frederick ) did NOT build the Panama Canal. He started to build it, had tons of problems with yellow fever and malaria, went bankrupt, took off and left the mess behind. The diseases were horrible and killed many workers. There is the largest in the world suspension bridge being built near there between France and Panama. (Yes bigger than the one in Norway.) The french want to call it the Fredrick de Lesseps bridge. Doubting if Panama wants to name it after a loser. They should name it after the US engineer who finished it. Sorry don't remember his name as he has no relative on the RHW shows.

No, you're right -- I think even if you love fur it's the wrong fur for that dress.

I'm guessing the make-up is heavy b/c she's under stage lighting later on, roasting Musto.

I am on the fence with Victoria. I remind myself she grew up privileged, went away to school for some of her formative years, never mastered to eat with her mouth closed and was probably insufferable because of the way she was raised and her parents. I give her points and was interested in the art and though it was clever a young woman would take on that topic.

 

Then I saw her smug pose and look and instantly couldn't stand her again...

I loved both Lu's old house and her new house in the Hamptons.  We also got to see her addition on the new house which really blended well.  I've always liked Lu's decorating style.  Even the rented brownstone.  I liked that she decorated it in a style that fit the house.

I realize I'm not of the popular opinion is this but I just don't think she is that pretty. Like, it is good until we get to her eyes. She has her dad's eyes and they are too close together.

I think I may mistake her smugness for the fact perhaps she is shy or just over her Mother being on TV. I always think of the first seasons and Alli was more outgoing and well likable. Victoria, again may have been making faces in the scenes with her Mother she may just have not wanted to do it.  Or behind the scenes her and Lu may have not been getting along if she was upset because she knew her parents relationship was falling apart. Her and Noel were lovely when they were with Rosie.

 

I always warmed to Alli more because she seemed more inviting than well a sulky teenager. I think Victoria  is a striking young lady look wise and if anyone would see her without knowing her lineage think so but knowing that her mother is/was a knockout that prejudices or clouds our views. She seems to favor the Count in look and Noel favors Lu Ann.

I thought Victoria was pretty in the early years on the show. There was some effortless about her. Now she looks like she's trying too hard. And has she had work done? Her nose looks different, to me.

She also has a set of too heavy/straight eyebrows for her features  --they distort the proportions of her face.

I always thought of her as an ugly Kristen Stewart. Remembering when she was with what's his face from Twilight and then everyone found out she was having an affair with the married producer? - That face - sullen.

I never understood the motivation for marriage on either side - clearly, he's into bar/hotel hookups, and what exactly did Lu get? Did they cut some deal for legal/financial gain?

Oh, what a surprise!  Luann married a cheater after she knew him for ten minutes and now, after only 6 months, they are circling the drain.  Who didn't see this coming?  Who?  

I think Luann is the only one.  Oh well.  That is what happens when you walk around with your nose up in the air like she does.  Having blinders on doesn't help. either.  You probably manage to not see a lot of things that are obvious to everyone else.  

And speaking of everyone else, it's a shame Luann didn't listen to Bethenny when she put that shit on blast, lol.  But girlfriend was too dumb (and too desperate to be married) to listen.  Of course knowing Luann she will never admit she made a mistake and she will probably hang onto to her miserable marriage to Tom the same way she did with the Count.  I wonder how many years of her life she will waste this time.  

I can only cross my fingers and hope Luann has learned that she is fine on her own and that she gets out of this mess quickly.  But given her haste and determination to walk down the aisle with Tom, it doesn't seem like she's figured this out yet.

Is there a story out there about Tom cheating when Luann was in Vermont? That would have been interesting to have run in this coming week's episode.  There is a scene where Tinsley goes off on Ramona and Sonja about feeding Page Six.   I don't think anyone blamed Bethenny for Tom's cheating, I believe people including Luann questioned the way she delivered the news. 

I was thinking the same thing-couldn't they at least ran the story the morning of the Reunion filming?  Now we have to wait until April for this to play out.

If this is true then Lu has a storyline good for at least a few seasons.....the breakdown of the marriage, the counseling and vow renewal, the divorce....should be good for at least 3 or so seasons. Truthfully, I wish her the best and hope the page 6 story is all just BS but the cynic in me thinks Tom planted the story, lol. Who else would claim that he isn't a famewhore :)

Ramona.  I think Ramona is the one who gets these stories circulating.  I guess we will have to see how she does at the Reunion.  It sounds like someone connected to the show throwing a challenge Luann's way-the show or the marriage.

The one thing that made it questionable, is the reference to Tom hating the show.  He does say hideously inappropriate things when he is on camera, so I can't imagine that he is any less inappropriate off camera. Tom met Luann when was on the show, he lived through last year, she has finished the season so I am at a loss why the show would be a big deal.  I would think he would rather have the income coming in and her away shooting from time to time.  Luann leaving the show would not let up the pressure they will forever be a rag mag item.

The slapping incident (sparse on details) made the Wendy Williams show today. That tells me this alleged slap is going to hit her in the butt when she gets a round on "I told you so's". I won't feel a bit sorry for her tho. She wouldn't allow anyone to burst her bubble when she wanted to get married. She made her bed now she can lie on it (alone or not).

It is kind of funny. The article mentions that story from Page Six, yet she doesn't deny anything in the article or try to clarify the slap. Seems like she would have wanted to get out in front of that, since the point of her interview with People seemed to be the allegations in the original story. Very interesting indeed.
