i also thought, why would coke be out in the open like that?  But it's hidden behind the counter to the onlookers.  And she doesn't seem very aware of cameras.  It's hard to imagine any other reason why she would assume that position.  She's in an industry where coke & cigs are used to keep the weight off.  And she's not a stick figure like most models .

Well, I don't know what she's doing but it isn't a good look for her. Her response is very defensive, IMO. She launched into "your blog is shit", " your readers are stupid", and "I'm insulted" type responses. Who knows but I think if she was doing something innocent like, say, trying to fix a broken bracelet, why not just say that? (Or whatever else sounds better than spur of the moment insults)

It's almost like Yolanda's "she just had a glass of wine and then went to go put gas in her car". That's possible but it's not very believable. It just seems with all the money available to this whole family, in the entertainment field to boot, somebody would learn to call PR first and them earn their paycheck.

I mean I wouldn't want to have these things come out, true or not, but the public tends to respond better when you at least *try* when you are blowing smoke up their butt.

You don't actually need a straw or any type of funnel to get coke up your nose. It's just neater that way. But there also could be something between her fingers we can't see. 

 

Gigi seems like a nice girl, who has her shit together, but modeling is a crazy industry. Actually the entire entertainment industry is. But even if she was doing coke once at a party doesn't mean she's going to turn into a druggie. I can't tell what's going on in that photo but after reading the letter Yolanda wrote to Bella, if she at all suspects her daughter is doing drugs, I can't imagine her letting that go without a stern lecture.

It's funny because I was wondering what the explanation was.  I mean, it's pretty unusual to have your face planted on a counter.  She is dancing, seems carefree...maybe there is an innocent explanation like, "I was reaching on the floor for my purse."  But has she explained what she was doing?  I just read the "i'm a role model" bullshit.

 

And I guess I'm just skeptical because although she's skinny, she's not high fashion model skinny so it wouldn't surprise me if the pressure of being skinny (from her freaking mom!) is making her turn to coke.

Yolanda's letter to Bella became public because someone sold it to the tabloids. She addressed it on the show as a youthful mistake and if the letter hadn't become public, that would have been all there was - no big stink just the family handling it privately after acknowledging it. In this case, since it didn't happen on the show, there is no reason for Yolanda to take to the internet or address it on the show. So, it makes much more sense for her to ignore it on Social Media. To defend it on Social Media would be to give it credence. I would be willing to bet that Mohammad and David Foster feel the same way.

Avaleigh - Thanks for posting the photo. I remember someone posting a link to that photo on the old board. You can really see how she has a beautiful smile, but she marred it with that hideous lip implant.

I've always like Yolanda, ever since her first appearance on the show. If I'm honest, the thing that really endeared me to her was her saying "Who is Adrienne Maloof in this world?"  I like her practical, outspoken yet caring nature. 

 

Now that being said, I think she and Lisa VP are serious frenemies.  Lisa is very good friends with her ex-husband, and I think that really rubs Yolanda the wrong way.  She managed to hide that initally, IMO, but then in time it came to light.  She completely bad mouthed her in Paris to Kyle and Kim, saying  Lisa was "full of shit" and wasn't really concerned about Kim.  Then she denied it at the reunion (which left me scratching my head, like "did I imagine that scene?") to appear as if she's on Lisa's side versus the Richard sisters. 

Then her true feelings came out with the kerfuffle with Ken at a party, which she (and Brandi) exaggerated, and implied that he asaulted her. 

 

Now while her motives may be pure, I think her friendship with Brandi is a way of her trying to make Lisa look bad, and  show that SHE (Yolanda) is the type of person who is loyal, and ride-or-die, while Lisa is fickle and drops people when she no longer has any use for them.  That is the only reason I can see her still being friends with Brandi.  I mean Brandi intimated that people were saying her daughter,Bella, is an alcoholic, which is untrue. Brandi acted inappropriately at a dinner with some of her King's colleagues. Brandi has physically assaulted two people, unprovoked. 

The true Yolanda would have been like "Ain't nobody got time for that", but this current incarnation posts quotes on Twitter such as "Those who act out the most, need the most hugs" on the night of the episode where Brandi made the Bella comment, and makes the statement that Brandi has been dropped like trash by so many, and she refuses to be one of those people.

 

Now I may be totally off base on my theory, and her motives may be purely friendship, but I just get this feeling.....

IMO, what stopped Brandi from going any further was Yolanda immediately saying "What, so now you attack me"! Brandi saw that Yolanda was ready to walk away from her forever for using Bella's DUI on the show to explain her own drinking issues. Brandi did a lot of back peddling in a matter of minutes and low and behold, the next thing we hear is that Brandi is doing an alcohol/sugar free cleanse as penance. LOL

I am going to cut her some slack for her ineffective cliches and fortune cookie advice she spouts.  I am not sure she can talk more in depth about much. 

 

I didn't like her at first, then I warmed to her and now I feel neutral.  She is elegant and operates with grace and that is worth a pat on the back with this crowd.

She really is. Mo, to me, doesn't look exotic at all. And neither does Gigi really. She looks exactly like Yo's mom! That family has some excellent genetics, everyone is super gorgeous. Rich and beautiful! I have to say for all that, Yo's kids don't come off as spoiled or entitled. They may just hide it well, and Bella's DUI wasn't a great sign, but they appear to be decent kids.
