So does this mean she is now a Trump supporter? During the EJ performance (if you can call it that) Meggie was OTT the top dancing and singing along, and then somehow she and the others got the message to sit down, but she continued singing. There was a shot of Joy from the side and she was just sitting there. Afterwards, on stage, Meggie hugged EJ probably 6 times and told her she loved her. Even EJ seemed uncomfortable about it. There was something very frenetic about Meggie today. Anyways, we never got to actually see the cake because Meggie hijacked the closing. The dress Meggie was wearing was fugly, and I believe that was wardrobe's birthday present to her. Cannot wait to see Meggie wearing that fugly jumpsuit that Andy brought for her. Jeff Flake didn't really have a good answer about why he voted for Kavanaugh, especially when Joy or Whoopi pointed out that there are plenty of qualified judges out there. Flake even said he didn't like his demeanour toward the Senators. But his only answer was that you cannot exclude someone for an allegation. I am not American, but I remember hearing throughout all of this in prior years, if there was a whiff of a problem (eg, smoking dope), they just had the nominee withdraw and went to the next one on the list. Which they could have done here. Not sure why no one pointed that out. Why does everyone want Flake to come back? He criticizes Trump but then goes against the majority of Americans and caves on the vote for SC for Kavanaugh. I'm glad, after he evaded Sunny's question about whether he found Ford's testimony credible with "all women should believed" and then contradicted himself a minute later, Sunny said, "So you didn't believe her." I thought that Glake was pretty gracious. And I agree with Whoopi - obviously nobody should be receiving mysterious and possibly explosive devices. Meghan and Abby can say "but we still don't know..." all they want. Duh. We know "we don't know" yet. But the fish rots from the head. He needs to tone down his rhetoric towards the media (we know that won't happen though).
