I suspect that they moved back to Vegas. The slot machine was a gift from Coltee's dad, supposedly, and he's been dead for ten years.

Ah, you could be right. I remember something came up where Colte said that she lived next door or close to us, so maybe he was married before

First Wife Debbee won that battle against interloper Second Wife (for now) Larissa. The "more practical" dress from a second hand store was the final choice. Here is Larissa's crumpled mess of a $150 goodwill dress. That's the big reward for banging that toe-walking, eyebrow-spinning, passive-aggressive miser.

The dress should’ve been pressed, but otherwise it seems quite pretty.

That’s from the actual wedding?

I thought it might’ve been rehearsals (or the material just crinkles easily).

What's wrong with that dress?

I was in a wedding in 1991, where the bride paid exactly $100 for her wedding dress and she looked beautiful, she didn't even have a veil.  We used a long piece of white gauze and since she had very long hair, we braided it into her hair.  She looked stunning.

All this nonsense about spending thousands of dollars is plain stupid and all people are doing is making other people rich.   BTW, one of my best friends NEVER purchased any clothes (except underwear) from department stores, she purchased everything from church sales, yard sales and thrift shops and everybody always remarked on how good she looked.

I think Larissa's dress looks beautiful.   My own bride wore a $299 dress from David's Bridal.

I LOVE thrift store dresses for weddings; bonus points if it's vintage, like pre-1970's.  No snark on the place she got the dress; it's beautiful.  I just hope she wasn't berated into it.  She's a horrible person but dangling stuff in front of her and promising she can have it: a couch, a big wedding, a dress, etc.... and then telling her can't have it is just mean and would make anyone's anger flare.  I mean I do not support violence in any way , but I can understand if she was promised all these things and then it was all taken away and then she got called names to boot  and treated like an imported sex toy why she would want to slap Colt.

At this point I totally believe that coltie promised her a big house, and whatever she wanted to get her over here.  And all of a sudden she's the bitch for expecting him to follow through. (I mean , I think she's a bitch anyway, but so's he truthfully- maybe an even bigger one.)

Has Larissa ever been allowed to get something she prefers/wants at any point of the show?

She seemed pretty happy with her ring (until she had a tantrum and tossed it on the floor).

Larissa is a Ferrari

Larissa is 2002 Nissan Sentra that thinks she is a Ferrari. Also her seat covers are way too small.

*cackles*  Larissa is a PIA but she's probably the only genuinely entertaining person on the show, just like Olga is the only genuinely sympathetic person on the show.

So the budget went from $1,000 to $150? Amazing. I hope Larissa wasn’t forced to wear a dress she didn’t like just because the price tag was low. The dress looks okay, but I can tell it’s not her style. I assume it was worn off the rack and not dry cleaned because a decent dry cleaner would have taken out the wrinkles.

I am not one who believes that a dress needs to cost thousands, but if someone promised me a $1,000 budget and it became about 90% less, I would be disappointed. It’s manipulative of Colt to keep making promises he has no intentions of delivering on.

I see Debbie wore her favorite errand-running outfit per the wedding picture Larissa posted on IG. I wonder if it was out of spite or if that’s really her best wedding outfit.

He WAS nasty cousin John at that barbecue.  I'm not crazy about Larissa at all, but that guy was a guest and was way out of line.  And Colt sits there the whole time like a lump on a log without saying a single word to defend this woman he supposedly loves.  What a joke.

Oddly enough, I was just reading an article about how Christopher Watts--the guy in Colorado who killed his wife and young daughters recently--is getting love notes in prison from strangers. There are some people out there who are attracted to anyone who is "famous", no matter what the reason.

Side note: I thought Cousin John was disinvited, is that him next to Hippie Wife? It’s just eff-ing wrong to crash a wedding against the bride’s wish. More nasty than upstaging her even. But that’s just me. 🙎🏻‍♀️

Regarding all the cheating messages.....both Larissa and Colt are very weird.  I wouldn't put it past them to have made all this up and be playing a part because they want the attention and to be on future seasons. Made up drama from attention whores.

Debbie was smirking her ass off in last night's "First Look" and she appeared to take great pleasure in nixing Larissa's wedding gown choices. But I also thought Larissa was being totally unreasonable wanting a dress that was 2 1/2 times over the budget Colt (Debbie, actually) gave her and wheedling and cajoling about it like a preteen. Like on SYTTD, the saleswoman should have asked her the "price point she was comfortable at" at the very beginning and steered her towards the within budget gowns, and not just let her run loose in the racks. I felt a thousand dollar budget was pretty generous for a dress Larissa would be wearing for a wedding with ten guests. (I forget, how much was Karine's gown?) But I've learned that the wedding gown shopping drama is an obligatory scene for each bride, and totally producer driven. Some bridal salon somewhere gets their 15 minutes of fame and free advertising.

I absolutely can't wait for the "Who is against the Queen will DIE!" tantrum this week that we keep seeing in the commercials.

I like watching people shop for dresses, but PLEASE I hope we get less money/financial drama next season!

Teh ONLY kind of finance drama I want to see is if it’s like “Billions” on SHO.

After the mess Leida made on this season, I just need a break from watching people fighting over money. 🤮

I think Leida is trying to be Anfisa (who’s doing pretty well for herself on social media—she just got one of those plaques YouTube awards YouTubers who hit a certain number of subscribers). Anfisa went viral with her awfulness but people admired her honesty and she’s actually got a self-deprecating sense of humour about being a gold-digger too:

Larissa’s storyline is also palatable (the whole “gold-digger married into a family of Extreme Cheapskates who live in the desert without car A/C” is pretty hilarious to me).

I liked it until Debbie made her choose between the green card and the dress... 🙎🏻‍♀️

But I could use a money detox after watching Leida/Eric’s money drama, because that was just UNCOMFORTABLE TO WATCH.

I have no idea how much wedding dresses are supposed to cost in the US. I was actually surprised to learn that US$1,900 dresses exist (because I thought US$150 was “prom dress” range, and figured these American bridals would rip-off Bridezillas).

But it’s good to know they can be affordable too. I’m not sure why I thought they’d be like US$10,000 or something?

Hey I didn't even have a wedding dress... so Larissa spent $150 more than I did. But then, no one promised me a $1000 budget, either! I didn't say the dress was ugly, I said it was a crumpled mess. They didn't spring for a $20 iron and a $20 ironing board LOL.

What did you end up wearing then?

I have a vision for my best/ideal wedding, but  I also have a “worst case scenario” plan (like if my parents don’t like him and I have to elope or something—LMAO). 😂🤷🏻‍♀️🤣

I have this favourite dress, it looks like this:

☝🏼 I’m just going to wear that if I have to elope (I’m also taking of my family’s cats with me if I have to elope). LOL.

Also, about Larissa’s dress: It’s probably made from a material that would melt at a certain temperature. I was thinking they could’ve borrowed a steamer? 🌫

Do you get "Say Yes to the Dress" in Indonesia? Also a TLC offering where brides from all over the world shop for gowns in Kleinfeld's, a famous bridal salon in New York. Their gowns start at $2K, and many of them ARE $10K or more! Just Google Pnina Tornai who designs exclusively for Kleinfeld's and you'll get the idea of some of the outrageous gowns these brides purchase but thankfully those styles and prices are NOT the norm.

My wedding dress was under $1000.  And it wouldn't have even been that much except my dad offered to pay for it and really wanted to buy something for me so I let him.  Originally I was trying to find a vintage 50's tea length dress, but I couldn't find one that would have fit or could have been altered in time so I got something new.  The say yes to the dress ladies spending thousands on their dresses are not the norm........maybe in the Northeast....I've been to weddings in NYC and jersey that were out of control and outrageous.  I don't think $1000 budget for Larissa was wrong and she could have found something at another salon or an outlet that would have been really great for her and in budget.  Colt shouldn't promise her crap that he doesn't want to give.  Goodwill has great stuff, and there's nothing wrong with that, but I really hope that it wasn't the only choice for her - like it's goodwill or nothing.  To me that's a form of emotional abuse.

Well, honestly I think that the only people who really find it rewarding to view are gay or bisexual men.  Or I suppose other people in different "categories" , but mostly gay and bi men. I had a gay friend in high school throughout college who very much enjoyed viewing porn where the focus was on the man parts.  To each his own.

Edit: Just my speculation,  but I think Colt was/still could be a porn addict.   Sitting in his room all alone and comfy with his computer while Debbie's snoozing away next door...

I hope it's early enough before lunch to say this. One of Coltee's ex girlfriends came forward and said he liked degrading sex.... whatever that means. My guess is that's her description of bondage. Probably D&S because I don't think Coltee has the fortitude for S&M although who knows?

The only thing I seriously want to picture our guy Coltee being into is D&D (Dungeons and Dragons).

The meme opportunities here are rife.

Say Yes to the Dress is so boring. It's almost as bad as Seven Little Johnstons which puts me to sleep during the commercials. They should really combine some of these shows to make space on the schedule. Like, have the little Johnstons trying on dresses every week. Or, better yet, Say Yes to the Dress, Duggar edition... now that latter one is more viable. The Gothard Cult's reigning favorite family could try on wedding dresses every single week... they'd just need a big stash of turtleneck gowns.

Of course can you imagine the dress hosts having to deal with the zealot, homophobic Duggars? That kind of cruelty surpasses TLC standards I'm afraid...

As someone who had the misfortune of dealing with a Debbie when I was with my ex, Larissa has nothing but my sympathies. It is a miserable, lonely situation to try to be with your partner and have his mother shove her face into what should be a personal, romantic relationship. It was a traumatic experience for me. What sucks is that my ex’s mom came off like Debbie, sweet to her son and the other family members, so they couldn’t fathom why I side-eyed her. But she was manipulative to a very concerning level.

As far as the DV charges are concerned, I am curious as to what really happened. I could see Colt being incredibly calm and Larissa being hysterical.

As far as the kids are concerned, Larissa seems to have left them with family. I will not criticize a mother who likely left her children with family who could provide a better life for them. I read that at one point, Larissa was working in Brazil and that money was used for child support. I also read that she ran into financial difficulty and couldn’t pay at some point, but still. Larissa did say she plans to at least bring her oldest over when she’s far more settled in the US. Makes sense to me. She can’t work and her housing is unstable right now.

I'll drink to that.  My dead ex's mother was a beeyotch.  She comes off as oh so sweet but watch out.  At one point dead ex brought up the idea of moving his mother in with us and I flat out told him I would walk out the door as she walked in.

Depending on the fabric, ironing it may have been tricky? It may have required a professional dry cleaner's efforts which Colt would have dismissed.

I agree that the cost of the dress is not important. As a bride myself, I really didn't care much one way or the other.

I think it was the fact that Coltee promised her $1000 dress and Larissa was a woman who had her heart set on a more expensive dress, perhaps even as a way for Coltee to show his love for her since he certainly didn't do it by putting her before Mom. Or, for that matter, his hard drinking, pugnacious, cross sporting Cousin. What an an a**hole! The fact that the kids were playing so quietly with Debbie said to me that it wasn't the first time they'd heard that kind of shouting! Something tells me his flower child wife doesn't put up much of a fight back, either. She probably cowers while he rages. Poor woman!
