Glad tamra finally told shannon what was bothering her. Way better than telling everyone else and rudely singling her out in the group setting. That said, her behavior with Steve & vicki at the country club was appalling. Tamra is not a ride or die friend.

Tamra I think is just mad at Shannon because Shannon is getting more screen time this season and she isn't "helping" Tamra with her storyline. Tamra is always the one who me,me,me and this time around it is Shannon's me, me,me time.

I waffle between being amused/annoyed at Shannon, but out of all of the women I would hang with her. She seems like she would keep your secrets (unlike others) and would defend you to the end of time as long as you don't hurt her.

Kelly is a loon. She really doesn't care what Michael is up to but doesn't have anything else to grab at right now. I wish someone would drop her off at the Costco (TM) and leave her there with a hot dog and soda.

Gina and her spawn can leave the screen any time now. Vicki lasted longer at their lunch the I would have. I would have been out of there in about 15 minutes with a "work emergency".

Emily and "Tiny Tim" are not a fit for this show at all.

Vicki, Vicki, Vicki, Steve is not going to marry you. He saw what an easy mark you are and is playing the Brooks game with more finesse.

Of course they are! They’ve been at this garbage for 13 years now. We all know what they’re all about. 

If any one of those Gila Monsters thundered over to me at a party, no matter what they would say to me, I would squeak, “oh my goodness! I’m so sorry, please forgive me”, then run away around the corner and pee my pants from terror and laughing so hard. :) lol

Gina on "WWHL" with Andy and it's been confirmed she's separated from her husband and has filed for divorce! I knew it had to be what was going on with him in another city and apt. she hadn't even seen it! You didn't have to be Kreskin to see what was going on with her and her situation! ;- 0

I know there are definitely too many kids, but that little girl popping out from under Vickie’s chair and proclaiming “I like to crawl under chairs”, cracked me up. That was pretty cute. :)

i was actually surprised at how tolerant and how much of a good sport ole Vix was with those kids. I wouldn’t come for lunch at a friends’ house knowing she had 3 rugrats with no help, crawling all over the table. How can you have a conversation?

I am confused. I thought all Kelly said was my friend told me to order a 'vulva' tea, but hey am I supposed to go down on her? He laughed and gave her the correct pronunciation. I thought it was funny and harmless. Kelly likes to say it as it is.

I think there was more to them behind the scenes. Did you see when she went in for her reduction surgery. He knew her and knew what she needed and she was so grateful for his assistance. I felt really sad that it did come to an end, but there was a lot of love there that doesn't fade because they have different interests. She just wasn't ready to stay home every night and watch television.

I commented on the absence of Kelly's mother and brother, today I saw somewhere that there IS something going down and accusations flying about Kelly mistreating her mother and doing drugs and drinking too much. 

I think Vicki's whooping it up days are over. It looks like getting rid of Vicki may pan out in an unexpected way. Scamming cancer didn't get her fired, but her choosing straitlaced judgypants Steve is curbing her behaviour to the point that she isn't really giving anything at all of interest.

There’s no way I could rank in order all the gross things that took place in this episode; choosing one as more gross than another would be impossible.

I had the exact same reaction that Kelly did the first time I tried bobo tea. Drinks with chunks of anything in them is a huge no. 

I liked the way Shannon handled the talk with Tamra about not reciprocating enough in their friendship.  And her talking head about it was good, too.  She didn’t realize she was being so self-absorbed, she gets it, she’s glad it was brought to her attention, she wants to work to be better. That’s all anyone can ask in these types of situations.

In the past, Kelly’s behavior at the party would make me roll my eyes and continue to dislike her for being so unhinged, crude and vicious...but because I don’t like Steve or Shane and those were her targets, right or wrong, I was strangely okay with all of it.  I laughed out loud when they cut back to the moment that Emily introduced Kelly to Shane, but she had no memory of it whatsoever.  

I thought the decorations for the party were tacky. Did I miss Tamra saying the theme of the night was “garish and cheap”? As much as I loathe Vicki, her party planners always do great things with her back yard. Tamra’s looked like everything came from Party City.

Yeah, I get what you're saying... BUT anyone who knows Kelly knows that she can get as good as she gives. She would probably respect him more if he just shut her down. I can’t fall asleep, and I’m pretty sure it’s because I’ve been traumatized by the idea/mental image of Vicki and Steve having sex.  Thanks, Tamra. One more reason to dislike you! I find Steve so physically unattractive, something about his face reminds me of some creepy uncle who shows up at Thanksgiving and makes everyone uncomfortable. I’m definitely not seeing his charm, or (dry heave) sex appeal.

Theoughout the party I found myself wishing I could wipe the smeared makeup out from under shannon’s eyes, and brush her hair, because I didn’t want David to see her looking a bit disheveled and make fun of her. I feel oddly protective toward her.  

Tamra is exactly the kind of dumb to be confused as to how anything bad can happen in her life now because she found Jesus,  got saved, and prays for only good stuff to come her way. It’s like she thought doing those things were legally binding, and now God isn’t holding up His end of the deal, so she’s pissed. Surely at some point the “Pasture” she worked with so closely explained to her the part about no guarantees, but she only heard what she wanted and dismissed the yucky parts.

What WAS Kelly shoving in her mouth at the table with Shannon? It looked like what we call 'seafood extender/fish or crab stick'. It was probably the real thing, lobster or crayfish, what a waste. Lord, we needed LuAnn here to tell Kelly 'You're turning' at that moment. I could tell she was impaired and loaded for bear when she was cluelessly wandering about for some reason with one of the poster sized pics from Eddie's musical revue days, that was a weird scene. Both Steve and Shane are creepy and weird. If I was Gina, I'd be looking at those guys and looking at her guy doing that thing with your hands, like they are a scale...this is what awaits you when you divorce your husband, lady.

When Tamra actually mentioned to Shannon her issues, Shannon was quick to say this week or two was specifically hard and then knew immediately that Eddie had a new heart doctor and when she transferred her attention to Tamra, Tamra had no comeback or actual specifics that Shannon wasn’t asking about Eddie.  I am not suggesting that Shannon isn’t self involved but Tamra also agreed that she didn’t offer up a lot and was closed off and wasn’t telling her she was worried. I imagine the convo was like Tamra saying everything was fine and the Shannon taking it as a cue that she wasn’t hurting and could vent but she also clearly was talking to Tamra about Eddie’s condition.

The entire convo about David being invited to the party was laughable. The party didn’t exist for Eddie it was a filming opportunity for the show where Tamra and Shannon are paid to show up and Eddie was barely shown and the only reason to have David there would be to hurt Shannon so fuck that convo and its nonsense.

Shannon was actually great with Kelly, Shane and Steve. She wasn’t going to stop Kelly from going up to him but she gave good advice and was nice to both of them when Kelly went off the rails.

Her little speech irritated the hell out of me for many reasons. I agree with with your post. Also add that her stupid speech was said in that annoying voice she puts on when she's trying to sound tearful, and just blechhh. Try as she might, she just can't win me over, ever (and I've been on all of their sides at one time or other). What was she even rambling on about? That Eddie is still sick even though she prays that he gets better? And she doesn't understand that? She sounded like a child. A stupid one, at that.

One thing that cracked me up is shortly after Kelly tried to turn on the heat lamp it cut to Shannon coaching Kelly on approaching Steve and there is a caterer clearly fixing whatever Kelly did to the lamp in the background.
