  1. I immediately thought of Mike's(Mike and Natalie) mom!!!
  2. My late mother-in-law would make them, she loved them!! I never tried them!
  3. The Corningware percolator (with the blue cornflower on it!) was our first coffee maker when my husband and I were married in 1971!! I loved that coffeepot!! FYI: Amazon has used ones that are priced at $95-$221!!!!
  4. I'm thinking maybe he retired?? If I recall correctly, did he say he's been working for 30 years? He may have a pension and SS that would keep him comfortable, not sure any amount of $$$ would be enough for Jasmine!
  5. I love Russell Stover's sugar free peanut butter cups, but they are so expensive now! I have been buying Atkins Endulge sugar free peanut butter cups, I think they are just as good as Stover's and less expensive!
  6. I think Amanda is way too freshly widowed to have begun any sort of relationship, especially with 2 young children. Usually, in the first year or 2 of losing a spouse, you are trying to get your bearings, you are grieving 24/7 whether you are aware of it or not, most are, and it's never a good time to make hugely important changes. I realize everyone grieves in their own personal way but trying to form a new relationship so soon after losing a spouse is not the best choice. It's not good for the griever or the one they try to have a relationship with.
  7. I shop Macy's clearance on-line every few months, I've gotten some really good deals! I don't know how the closest Macy's to me stays open, very few customers when I've been in there
  8. Wish I had a nickel for every time someone says 'Love of my life'....
  9. While I don't think Roman actually 'pre-grieved', it is definitely a thing....when my husband passed after having cancer for 9 months, I asked my sister 'why do I feel so relieved (one of many emotions I was feeling then) right now?', she said I was already grieving during those 9 months without me even realizing it...it made perfect sense to me then and still does now after 10 years
  10. Did the Paris to Normandy a few years ago, loved it!! Viking is awesome!
  11. IMO, you don't ask for respect (as Usman asked Jamal), respect should be earned
  12. Mo is a dick.....and not the kind of dick that Yve wanted!
  13. I'm also binging on this show, I love it! Agree with all Electric Boogaloo said, Erin's story is definitely inspiring!! I especially like how Erin creatively comes up with the dishes she serves her guests and the way she and her team work together! Because I'm curious to know more about her story, I ordered her book 'Finding Freedom: A Cook's Story; Remaking a Life From Scratch' and it's scheduled to be delivered today, I know what I'll be doing tonight!!
  14. Count me in the Sisterhood of Leggings please! My favorites are also from Old Navy, got a few pair a few years ago and I absolutely live in them from fall through ealy spring!! I love the tightness of them because I walk a lot and they seem to keep my legs warmer than jeans, etc. And I always wear tops that cover my butt when I wear leggings!!
  15. Agree with you, Uncle Juice, Ellie is being passive aggressive in bringing up the money she's given to Victor, I think she feels he is not expressing enough gratefulness to her so she is passive aggressively demanding that he should thank he more. Her 2 options are: 1. give him money and shut up about it 2. do not give him money
